The power of prayer and fasting: Learn why Part III!
Noble readers (as) to be a blessed theme, and of great importance, is being split by parts because it was too long. In order to have a better acceptance and willingness to read, so it is easier; for prayer and fasting is biblical, and all the prophets, some kings and shepherds were men of much prayer, and one of them was King David. And most of these prophets was also Daniel and his three friends.
Let us know little about them one. Daniel, faithful God-fearing. Interpreted dreams permitted by God, and prayed every day along with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who were his three friends, and was created a decree that everyone should bow down to other gods, who did not do it, would be released in the burning fiery furnace. These three did not bow, and were thrown into the furnace and were unhurt, in the same way is a 4th person, with them dancing. Who saw this was the king, who said that this person was like the Son of God. Imagine a thing. Jesus was not born yet, and this happened hundreds of years later, and as the king could be sure that he was the Son of God! "Jesus" was already announced yes, but it took a long time after. They were taken out of there without burning.
And Daniel was thrown into the den of lions, as also not bow down to other gods. As nothing happened to any of them the decree was revoked, and that everyone should serve the same God of them. Dan. 3 & 6.10,11. The three friends of Daniel, managed to get King Nebuchadnezzar changed his thinking in relation to "God." Note. All this happened simply because they are men of "God" and a lot of prayer and fasting to see how it all happened in Daniel 3 "21 Then these men were bound, dressed in their robes, their tunics, their turbans and other clothes, and were cast into the burning fiery furnace. 24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste; spoke, and said unto his counselors, Did not we in the fire three men bound? Answered the king, True, O king. 25 And he said, But I see four men loose, walking in the fire, and no hurt; and the appearance of the fourth is like the Son of God. 26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near the door of the burning fiery furnace, said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come forth! Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out of the fire. 28 Nebuchadnezzar spake and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king, and yielded their bodies, that they serve or worship any god, except their own God. 29 Therefore I, make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak blasphemy against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill; because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort. 30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the province of Babylon. Daniel, along with his three friends were men of prayer; faithful, obedient and fearing "God," that bothered some men of the kingdom, which went to the king demanding that he did comply with the law, against those who were caught praying, worshiping other gods. And Daniel was seen doing this; worshiping the true God. Listen to Dan 6. {...} 5 Then these men said. We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find as regards the law of his God. 6 Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live forever. 7 All the presidents of the kingdom, the prefects and the satraps, the counselors and the governors, agreed that the king should issue a decree and publish the relevant decree, that whosoever, by thirty days, make a petition to any god or any man, except to you, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions. 8 Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which can not be revoked. 9 Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the interdict. 10 When Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house, in his room upstairs where the windows overlooking the side of Jerusalem were open; and three times a day went down on his knees and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did before. 11 Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God. 12 Then they came to the king and asked him regarding the king's interdict: Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or any man for thirty days, save of thee, O king , shall be cast into the den of lions?
The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which can not be revoked. 14 ... then when the king heard the news, he was very sorry, and on Daniel set his heart free you; and even the sunset worked to save it. ... 16 Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. But the king said to Daniel, Your God, whom you serve continually, He will deliver. 17 And a stone was brought and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet and with the signet of his lords; that concerning Daniel might not be changed: 18 Then the king went to his palace and spent the night fasting; and were not brought to their instruments of music, and ran away from him sleep. ... 20 And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice Daniel; and the king said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, would be the case that your God, whom you serve continually, able to deliver thee from the lions? 21 Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live forever. 22 My God sent his angel, and hath shut the lions, and they do not hurt me; because I was found innocent before him; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt. 23 Then the king exceeding glad, and commanded take Daniel out of the den. So Daniel was taken out of the den, and he was not in it any injury, because he had trusted in his God. 25 Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages that dwell in all the earth: Peace be multiplied unto you. 26 I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel; because he is the living God, enduring forever; and his kingdom will never be destroyed; his dominion shall be to the end. 27 He delivers and rescues, and he works signs and wonders in heaven and on earth; who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions. 28 This Daniel therefore prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian. "
The prayer of Daniel, and the 70 weeks, the coming of the Messiah. The Messiah who referred to was Jesus. Dan. 9: 2ao 27. "2 in the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of years, whereof the LORD to Jeremiah the prophet, who had of the desolations of Jerusalem, seventy year old. 3 I therefore set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth and ashes. 4 And I prayed to the Lord my God, and made confession, and said, O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps covenant and mercy to them that love him and keep his commandments; 5 we have sinned and committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments. 6 Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. 7 To you, O Lord, is the righteousness, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel; that are near and far, in all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee. 8 O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our . parents, because we have sinned against you 9 to the Lord our God belong mercies and forgiveness; because we have rebelled against Him, 10 and have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets. 11 Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God has been poured out on us; . for we have sinned against Him And He has confirmed his words against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil; for under the whole heaven never done as hath been done upon Jerusalem. 13 As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil upon us; nevertheless, we have not entreated the favor of the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and have discernment in your truth. 14 Therefore hath the LORD watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us; because justice is the Lord our God, in all his works which he doeth: and we obeyed not his voice. 15 And now, O Lord our God, who hast brought forth thy people of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast gotten thee renown as at this day, we have sinned, we have done wickedly. 16 O Lord, according to all thy righteousness, depart to thine anger and thy wrath from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain; because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, has become Jerusalem and your people a reproach to all those around us. 17 Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy servant, and his supplications, and upon thy sanctuary that is desolate make your face shine, because of the LORD. 18 Incline, O my God, Thy ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name; because we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousness, but for thy great mercies. 19 O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and put to work without delay for the sake of Thyself, O my God, because thy city and thy people are called by thy name. 20 While I was speaking and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the Lord my God for the holy mountain of my God, 21 yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. 22 And he informed me, and talked with me, saying, Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding. 23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to declare, tell thee; therefore considers the word and understand the vision. 24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. 25 Know therefore and understand, that from the issuing of the decree to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: with squares and junk it will rebuild, but in times of trouble. 26 And after threescore and two weeks it will cut the anointed, but not for himself; and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary, and the end thereof shall be with a flood; and to the end there will be war; desolations are determined. 27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week; and in the midst of the week he cease the sacrifice and the oblation; and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate; and even certain destruction, which will be "
Viewed as prayer, intercession is important! Those people who did this in the past, saved many lives. Helped take the darkness of darkness, thousands of thousands of lives, they had no more solutions, more output for them. For sizes were their sins, their sins! Very true, friends: we're only here today because there were those who intercede for us; even with their lives. In cap.10 Daniel prayed and fasted for 21 days; God already on day 1 heard Daniel's prayer, but the angel that brought the answer to Daniel, came into the fight against the king of Persia, Prince of Satan darkness. God sent the archangel Michael to his rescue. Daniel was very weak, Miguel restored his strength again. . Dan 10. "1 In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar, a true word concerning a major conflict; and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision. 2 In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks. 3 no pleasant thing ate, no meat or wine came into my mouth, nor anoint me with ointment until they met the full three weeks. 7 And I Daniel, saw the vision; for the men that were with me did not see it: however, fell on them great fear, and fled to hide themselves. 8 Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me; disfigured to feature my face, and I retained no strength alguma.9 However, I heard the voice of his words; and, hearing the sound of his words, I fell into a deep sleep on my face. 10 And behold, a hand touched me, and made me stand up, shivering, on my knees and upon the palms of my hands. 11 And he said to me, Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and arise on your feet; because I am now sent you. When he had spoken this word to me, I stood trembling. 12 And he said unto me, Fear not, Daniel; for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and by thy words I came. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days; and, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, and I remained there with the kings of Persia. "  Daniel's fidelity, his persistence in prayer, defeated the Prince of Persia. Why some prayers are not answered, is that the active forces of evil in this world, trying to prevent the response to your request. The devil and his demons can not be everywhere at the same time. How can God! They concentrate their efforts on a servant of the Lord, until they were expelled in the name of Jesus. Often, the blessings are lost. Because of discouragement, distrust, disbelief, lack of faith.
We want it all the time and why we are being defeated by an enemy already defeated.
Joel proposes the Sanctification of a fast, because the day of the Lord is near. Joel. 1. "13 Gird yourselves with sackcloth, and lament, ye priests; howl, ministers of the altar; go in and pass over the night in sackcloth, ministers of my God; because it was cut off from the house of your God grain offering and drink offering. 14 Sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the Lord your God, and cry unto the Lord. 15 Alas for the day! For the day of the Lord is at hand, and as destruction from the Almighty. "    Thus, saith the Lord. Joel 2. "12 Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart; and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning. 13 And rend your heart, and not your garments; and turn unto the Lord your God; for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and of great kindness, and repents of evil. 14 Who knows if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him, in grain offering and libation to the Lord your God? 15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly; 16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children and nursing infants; let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride of his chamber. And what claim the name of the Lord shall be saved. Joel. 2. "27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and there is none else; and my people shall never be ashamed. 32 And it shall come to whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved; for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call. "See how good praying, fasting and intercession for others, for someone! Because by doing so, we will be pleasing "God and the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ"
Nineveh was saved by a fast. It all started when Jonah, not obeying the Lord, that He sent Making. In his flight he went into a ship, that was not going to Nineveh: this ship encountered a storm, Jonah blamed asked to be cast into the sea, and the crew did so. Jonah was swallowed by a great fish; is assumed to be a whale. He repented, and was cast out of the fish's belly. Jonas 1.12ao 17. Jonas prayed and fasted, and did what God has appointed him. Jn. 2. "1 Then Jonah prayed to the Lord his God out of the fish's belly; 2 and said: In my distress I cried unto the Lord, and He answered me; the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice. 3 For thou didst cast me into the deep, in the heart of the seas, and the flood surrounded me; all thy billows and thy waves passed over me. 4 And I said, I am cast out of thy sight; I will look to Your holy temple? 5 The waters surrounded me to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head. 6 I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth was about me forever with her bars; but You, O Lord my God, thou hast brought up from the pit my life. 7 When fainted within me my soul, I remembered the Lord; and came in unto Thee I pray in your holy temple. 8 Those who cling to vain idols away their own mercy. 9 But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; which voted pay. The Lord salvation belongs. 10 spake the Lord to fish, and the fish vomited out Jonah upon the earth. "
Jonah preached repentance in Nineveh. The people repented, along with the king. God repented of what he had promised to do, and did not. Jonah prayed to the Lord, and the Lord's answer to Jonah. "Jn. 4. 3 "Rose, therefore, Jonas, and went to Nineveh, according to the word of the Lord. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey. 4 And Jonah began to enter into the city a journey of one day, and cried, saying, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown. 5 So the people of Nineveh believed God; and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least. 6 The news reached the king of Nineveh; and he arose from his throne, stripping out of his robe, covered himself with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. 7 He made a proclamation, and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Do not taste anything nor man nor beast, or oxen or sheep; them not feed, nor drink water; 8 But be covered with sackcloth, both man and beast, and let them cry mightily to God; and let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands. 9 Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and make the turn from his fierce anger, so that we perish not? 10 And God saw what they did, how they turned from their evil way and God repented of the evil which he said would make them, and did not. "
Prayer fasting, repentance of the people came to the Lord. Amen.
Habakkuk. Zephaniah, Nahum, Obadiah Zachariah were also men of prayer, fasting, intercession. Another prophet Zechariah much used by God. He calls the people to repentance, and speaks of fasting that did not please God. Zac. 1. {...} 4 Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts: Turn ye from your evil ways and from your evil doings; but did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the Lord. 5 Your fathers, where are they? And the prophets, do they live forever? 6 But my words and my statutes, which I commanded the prophets, my servants, did they not overtake your fathers? And they returned and said, As the LORD of hosts thought to do to us according to our ways, and according to our works, so he treated us. 12 And the angel of the LORD answered and said, The Lord of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these seventy years? 13 And the Lord said to the angel that talked with me with good words and comfortable words. 14 So the angel that talked with me said to me, Cry, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts. With great zeal I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion 15 And I am very angry with the nations at ease; because I was a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction. 16 Therefore the Lord says: I turned now to Jerusalem with mercies; shall be built in my house, saith the Lord of hosts, and the line shall be stretched over Jerusalem. 17 Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts: My cities will again transshipped Rao goods; and the Lord shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem. "They fasted for 70 years, but not for God. Will not help us to spend a lifetime praying, fasting, but not to being "God"! A large portion of the population, does this praying, bending your knees, for images of "saints" lie, who do not speak do not move, can not do anything. People make sacrifices and lead to statues of various types; but forget the true "God", which today is in the name of "Jesus Christ"
Listen to Zac, 7 {...} 2 Now the people of Bethel had sent Sharezer and Govern-Melech, and their men, to pray before the Lord, 3 and to speak unto the priests that were in the house of the Lord of hosts, and the prophets: I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done for so many years? 4 Then the word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying, 5 Speak unto all the people of the land, and the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did the same to me that you fasted? 7 Are not these the words that the Lord cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and its cities around her, and when the South and the lowland were inhabited? ... 9 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts: Execute true judgment, and show kindness and compassion every man to his brother; 10 And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, nor the stranger, nor the poor; and none of you devise evil in his heart against his brother. 11 But they refused to listen, and gave away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, lest they should hear. 12 And they made as an adamant his heart, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the Lord of hosts sent in his spirit by the former prophets; therefore came a great wrath from the Lord of exércitos.13 As I cried, and they would not listen, so they called, and I did not hear, saith the Lord of hosts; Do not wait for this day! On the day that the Lord no longer hear our cry, our prayer supplications, and fasting that will no longer be seen and accepted by "God." This day, unfortunately will arrive today. We just do not know when they will come; but that will come as a terrible day overpowering, destructive, bleak.
Blessings promised. Thus saith the LORD. I will come to Zion old and children Dwell .. Behold save ... and brings them ... I will strive to ... Zac. 8. '2 Thus saith the Lord of hosts: Zeal for Zion with great zeal; and in great indignation, for it I'm jealous. 3 Thus says the Lord: I will return to Zion, and dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth, and the mountain of the Lord of hosts the holy mountain. 4 Thus saith the Lord of hosts: Still in Jerusalem courts sit will be old men and women, and every man with his staff in his hand, because of their great age. 5 And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls who will play them. 6 Thus saith the Lord of hosts: If it be marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in those days, should it also be marvelous in my eyes? Saith the Lord of hosts. 7 Thus saith the Lord of hosts: Behold I will save my people out of the east country and from the west country; 8 and I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; they shall be my people, and I will be their God in truth and in justice. 9 Thus saith the Lord of hosts: Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words from the mouth of the prophets who were in the day it was laid the foundation of the house of Jehovah of hosts, so that the temple might be built. 10 For before these days there was no hire for man, nor gave them gain the animals; neither was there peace to him that went out nor to him that came in, because of the enemy; for I set all men every one against his neighbor. 11 But now will not be unto the remnant of this people as in the former days, saith the Lord of hosts; 12 Because there will be the seed of peace; the vine shall give her fruit, and the land shall yield her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things. 13 And it shall be, O house of Judah and house of Israel, that as ye were a curse among the nations, so I save you, and you shall be a blessing; fear not, but let your hands be strong. 14 For thus saith the Lord of hosts: As I thought to do evil unto you, when your fathers provoked me to anger, saith the Lord of hosts, and I repented not, 15 so again have I thought in these days to do good to Jerusalem and house of Judah; not temais.16 These are the things that ye should do: Speak truth each with his neighbor; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates; 17 and none of you devise evil in your hearts against his neighbor; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the Lord. "
Noble readers (as) will come now in the New Testament. Show everyone in short, about the One who is our One living way called "Jesus Christ", below we pray, fast and intercede for our neighbor. We have Jesus continuing all that did the prophets, priests and kings did Jesus prayed and fasted for 40 days and 40 nights, he was hungry and was tempted by Satan. Jesus confirmed in prayer and fasting, today we should continue doing. He left us the way forward. Is Matthew. Matt. 4 1-11 "Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3 Arriving then the tempter said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4 And Jesus answered him, It is written: Not by bread alone doth man live, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. 5 Then the devil took him to the holy city, set him on the pinnacle of the temple, 6 and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down; it is written, will give his angels charge over thee; and they shall bear thee into the hand, that they strike your foot against a stone. 7 Jesus answered him: It is written: Do not tempt the Lord thy God.8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain; and showed him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9 and said unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan; for it is written: The Lord thy God worship, and Him only you shall serve. 11 Then the devil Jesus, Go, Satan! for it is written: The Lord thy God worship, and Him only you shall serve. 11 Then the devil left him; and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him. " And Jesus also said this: when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites. Learn why in Matt. 5 to 6. "5 And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites; for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you. 7 And when you pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen; they think that in their much speaking will be heard. 8 Be not therefore like to them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. 9 Pray then like this: Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; 10 Your kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as in heaven; 11 our daily bread Give us this day; 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; 13 and do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever, Amen.] "
They saw how simple it is to serve "God, through His Son Jesus Christ." This power that Jesus has been given to us also today. But things just do not happen as "Jesus planned", for lack of faith. Yes: we do not have the faith to do is perform the words of the Lord "Jesus" Fasting. Mat 9:. "14 Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast? 15 Jesus answered them: They can perhaps be sad guests to the wedding, while the bridegroom is with them? But days will come, when the bridegroom will be taken from them, and then shall they fast. 16 No one puts new cloth patch on an old garment; because similar patch pulls away from the garment, and makes a higher rupture. 17 Neither do men put new wine into old wineskins; otherwise it burst, is the wine, and the bottles perish: and nothing will be impossible. But they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved. "
The followers of Christ were fasting, and followed the Master "Jesus" where he was; but Jesus saw that the people followed him even fasting, tried to feed them. At that time there were only seven loaves and a few fish; but Jesus "made" the second multiplication of the loaves and fish, feeding more than four thousand people, with just seven loaves and a few small fish. This only happened because "Jesus" can do all things. He, "Jesus is God the Son, with all the powers given by the Father, God." This confirmation is in Matthew. Matt. 15 "32 Jesus called his disciples, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because since three days they are with me, and have nothing to eat; and do not want to send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way. 33 They said the disciples: Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill a multitude? 34 And he asked them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few small fish. 35 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground, 36 he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. 37 And they all ate and were satisfied; and that which remained over of the broken pieces, seven baskets full. 38 And they that did eat were four thousand men, besides women and children. "
Kind of demon, only with fasting and prayer. But it will not help if we are unbelievers, and of little faith. Matt. 17 "15 Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is epileptic and suffers greatly; for he often falls into the fire, and often into the water. 16 I brought him to your disciples, and they could not cure. 18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out boy, who was cured from that hour. 19 Then the disciples came to Jesus in particular, asked him: Why could not we cast him out? 20 He said to them: Because of your unbelief; for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a mustard seed you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible. 21 [but this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.] "Jesus, before being betrayed into the idiots of the time, prayed in Gethsemane. Mat. 26.36ao 44- Mc. 14.32ao 42. Luc. 22; 39 to 46. Mat.26. "36 Then Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder. 38 Then said he unto them, My soul is sorrowful even unto death; Stay here and watch with me. 39 And he went forward a little, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. 40 Turning to the disciples and found them sleeping; and said to Peter, So ye could not one hour watch with me? 41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. 42 Retiring again, prayed, My Father, if this cup can not pass unless I drink it, let it be Thy will. 43 And he came again and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy. 44 left them again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. 45 Then came to the disciples and said to them, sleeping and resting. Behold, the hour is come, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. 46 Arise, let us go; behold, he is at hand that doth betray me. '
It is friends, (the) unfortunately the day of betrayal arrived; He and delivered to the scoffers, to suffer and suffer for all mankind, so that the world might be saved, and set free from slavery and bondage of sin. Christ before the fast was baptized by the Holy Spirit. Luc. 4. "1 And Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan; and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness 2 for forty days, tempted by the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing; and when they were ended, he was hungry. Christ took his disciples to fast. The disciples of John often fasted. Luc. 5. They say to him: the disciples of John fast often and make prayers, and likewise those of the Pharisees, but thine eat and drink. 34 Jesus answered them: Can you perhaps make the wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them? 35 But days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them; in those days, but they will fast. " Note that in Matthew there was also this same passage, but written differently. Fasting in the early church: Paul was blind for three days, was converted, prayed and fasted: Acts 9: 1your 25: To give you an idea of who was Paul! He was the greatest persecutor of the Christian people; but "Jesus" did not see it as a bad person. Jesus separated "Paul", to his follower, and suffer in the name of Jesus Christ: and it was so. See how it all happened! Here Paul, still called "Saul," then was renamed Paul, along with Barnabas. {....} 1 But Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, 2 and asked of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, so that if he found any the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. 3 And as he journey and approaching Damascus, suddenly surrounded him a sky light brightness; 4 and he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him: Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? 5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting; 6 Now get up and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. 8 And Saul arose from the earth and, opening his eyes, he saw nothing; and led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus. 9 And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank. 10 Now there were certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and told him the Lord in a vision, Ananias! And he said, Here am I, Lord. 11 He ordered the Lord to him, Arise, go to the street called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas one named Saul of Tarsus; for behold, he is praying; 12 and saw a man named Ananias come in and lay his hands on him so that his sight. 13 But Ananias answered, Lord, have heard from many about this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints in Jerusalem; 14 and here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on your name. 15 I told him, but the Lord: Go, for he is a chosen vessel unto Me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel; 16 For I will show him how much he must suffer for my name. ... From this moment, Paul, even Saul, totally changed, and was one of the greatest preachers in the name of Jesus to every creature; and Paul wrote eleven letters to various people. .... 17 Ananias departed and entered the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me to receive your sight and be filled with the Spirit Holy. 18 Logo fell from his eyes as it were scales, and he received sight: then got up and was baptized. Persecutor became Paul, he became the persecuted to death. 21 ... all that heard him were amazed and said, Is not this he who in Jerusalem those calling on this name, and he had come here intending to bring them bound unto the chief priests? 23 After many days, the Jews consulted together to kill him. 24 But their plot became known to Saul. And they watched the gates day and night to take his life, 25 Then the disciples took him by night, and let him down by the wall in a basket.}

Parte I                   Conhecendo  melhor a Bíblia, e a palavra de Deus.
