1. Verdades sobre a natureza da tentação:                                                                                           I - Inevitavél.  (Tg 1.13).
  2. Verdades sobre o caminho da tentaçăo (Tiago 1.15)                                                                            2.1 Escala: pecado: A tentação se encarrega de anunciar, propagar, oferecer, estimular a prática do pecado. A cobiça é a mãe do pecado, ela o concebe e o dá à luz.
2.2 Destino: morte. O objetivo e a consequência final do pecado é sempre a morte.

Afinal, quem vencer a carne vai poder sentar no trono.

How to receive and deserve God's blessings in your life. Part XIII Resisting temptation: Living in the Power of God. Share your faith. What the Bible says about resisting temptation!                                                      Seven truths about temptation: Biblical Basis: James 1.13-15
"No one, when he is tempted, I am tempted by God; for God can not be tempted by evil and he himself tempts no one. "
Lesson Target: Know: identify the temptation as something coming from within.
Feel: be attentive to own temptations. Take action: apply self-control and escape the evil desires. We will study James 1, verses 13-15, which is about temptation. It is important to note, however, verse 12, which emphasizes the need to persevere in the trial to be approved. In this verse, the Greek word that is translated in some versions as "prova¬ção" has the same root as the word "temptation" of verse 13. Here we can say that trial and temptation have the same meaning. The difference between the two lies in the fact that the origin and purpose of each are different. The coming trial of God will always have the aim to strengthen and grow. Already the temptation comes from the greed and can be induced by the devil; her goal is to make us fall and sin. As John 10, the devil comes only to steal and kill and destroy. Here in John 10, the word shows us how we can resist temptation; because we have "one" who came to love us, forgive and free us from all sin. And it's not just the sin of the flesh. See what it says in John 10. "9 I am the door; If anyone enters by me, it will be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. 12 But the hireling, and that is not the shepherd, whose the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf snatches them and scatters them. 13 The hireling flees because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. 15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 I have other sheep that are not of this fold; also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice, and there will be one flock and one shepherd. 17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it. 18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself; I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it. This commandment have I received of my Father. "Temptation all we will pass and we will always be tempted somehow. Be it physical, emotional, spiritual, finananceira. We may be tempted by sex, greed, envy, greed, lust, by lies, hate, kill, steal and destroy. Yes: even when we were in Christ we are tempted all the time. For we are weak, flawed and sinful. "Jesus" never sinned, had purez it at all, and yet he was tempted by Satan, the devil. The temptation of Jesus (Mark 1: 12,13 Luke 4: 1-13) Matthew. Matt. 4 "1 Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was hungry; 3 And they came to Him the tempter said: If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4 But he answered and said, It is written: Not by bread alone doth man live, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. 5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city and placed him on the pinnacle of the temple, 6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, And make you will the hands, so that never strike your foot against a stone. 7 Jesus said to him: It is written: Do not tempt the Lord thy God. 8 Again, the devil taketh him to a very high mountain; and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10 Then said Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan, for it is written: The Lord thy God worship, and Him only you shall serve. 11 Then the devil left him; and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him. "They saw how no one escapes the temptation. But we have to be steadfast, because neither Jesus Satan stopped trying.
 1. truths about the nature of temptation:
I - Inevitable. (James 1:13). The question is not "if" but "when" we will be tempted. Our first challenge regarding the temptation is to understand that we are subject to it all the time. We need to pay attention continuously. No one can say that does not go through temptation, it is naturally human. See what it says in I Corinthians. Color 10 that is not only carnal:. Christ does not tempt anyone. More temptation can come from varies so see: I Corinthians 10. "1 Moreover, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through mar.2 And were all baptized into Moses in the cloud. and sea, 3 and all ate the same spiritual food, 4 and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they drank of that spiritual rock that followed them: and the rock was Christ. 5 But God was not pleased with most of them, for they were overthrown in the desert. 6 And these things were our examples, to not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. 7 Neither be ye therefore idolaters, as some of them, as it is written: The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. 8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them; and fell in one day twenty-three thousand. 9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed by snakes. 10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them murmured, and perished by destruidor.11 Now things happened to them as examples and were written for our admonition, upon whom are come the ends of the world. 12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth, do not fall. 13 There hath no temptation, but human; but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able, but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you can stand ..... Give gaps temptation is to attack the biggest enemy of God, the devil Satan, the devil etc. see these verses ... 16 Doth not the cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not the communion of Christ's body? 17 For we, being many, are one bread and one body, for we all partake of the one bread. 21 Ye can not drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you can not partake of the Lord's table and the table of demons. You know why we fall into temptation! It is because nowadays we think that everything is normal and that everything can and is allowed. But that's not how it works for God. See why. 23 All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify. 24 Let no one seek his own, but every man another's wealth "Evil 1.2:. The claim that God can not be tempted by evil stresses the good character of God. The holy nature of God is solidified in good and evil is unable to seduce him. Habakkuk 1:13 reveals that the goodness of God is unshakeable, even to the point that he could look bad. James says in verse 13 that "God can not be tempted with evil." Understand that even the devil try a person, it will fall only to give way. The temptation arises from greed, and it is not feasible for God. He is the Owner of everything (Psalm 24 1 The Lord is the earth and its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein. 2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the rivers. 4 He that hath clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul unto vanity, nor swear deceitfully. 5 He shall receive the blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation. "
So that there is nothing to covet. In addition, the tenth commandment of God says, "Thou shalt not covet" (Exodus 20:17: but not temptation is only in verse 17:... Remember the Ten Commandments these verses "13 Thou shalt not kill 14 not commit adultery 15 Thou shalt not steal 16. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor. 17 You shall not covet your neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that thy neighbor.
Resist the temptation of idolatry, worship etc., 22 And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel: You have seen that from the heavens I spoke with you. 23 Ye shall not make other gods with me; silver or gold gods gods ye shall not make for yourselves. "And God can not deny Himself 2 Timothy. Tim. 2.13. See what also says these verses. "10 Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. 11 is a faithful saying: that if we die with Him, also live with Him; 12 If we suffer, also with Him reign; if we deny him, He also will deny us; 13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful; You can not deny himself. One way to resist temptation is always remain in truth and practice the truth. 14 Bring these things to memory, ordering them before the Lord not to have disputes of words, to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his, and anyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver but also of wood and clay; some to honor, and some to dishonor. 21 Wherefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these, it shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. 22 Flee also youthful lusts; and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who with a pure heart, invoke the Lord. 23 But refuse foolish questions, and uneducated, knowing that they do gender strifes. 24 And the Lord's servant must not quarrel but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient; 25 In meekness instructing those that oppose, to see if God peradventure will give them repentance to know the truth, 26 and become the awakening, detaching themselves from the trap of the devil, in which the will of him are trapped. "The temptation, and the way evil: it is totally contrary to God's nature. 1.3 Human: God is not responsible for the temptation; He does not try anyone (James 1:13). The temptation is intended to sin, misleading. We do not read the word that God is tempting, but the devil is so named (Matt 4.1 to 11 and 1 Thess. 3.5). "4 For even being with you, wee need  you that we should be afflicted, as it happened, and ye know. 5 Therefore, I can not also wait any longer, I sent to know your faith, lest the tempter you tried, and our labor be in vain. "This paper is of the devil, not God. Imagine that God leads us to evil is contrary to the divine nature of Him. God is good. In our desire to get rid of the guilt of sin, just making another mistake: give the devil all our faults. But while the devil is called the tempter, the Bible attributes the problem to human greed and not the diabolical temptation (James 1:14). No effect would the diabolic temptation if there was human greed, because, as we have seen, does not come temptation that is not human and each one is tempted by his own greed.
1.4 Identifiable. Although the name of "tempting" to be assigned to the devil, we saw that the biggest problem of temptation is not the devil, but our desires. Even so, some our desires have legitimate reasons as the desire to eat, drink, rest, but that can become sinful if we attract and seduce. The word "greed", translated sometimes as LUST, comes from Greek and epithymia can sometimes mean a legitimate desire as in Luke 22:15 and Philippians 1:23. So it is important to exercise the fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:23), which includes self-control. Remember that the worst temptations are those that are linked to legitimate needs. This passage in Luke shows Jesus making his last supper before being betrayed by Judas and be handed over to the Romans. Jesus had to fulfill God's will. If Jesus refused not to fulfill the will of the "Father God" See Luc. 22. "14 And when the hour, he sat down, and with him the twelve apostles. 15 And he said unto them, I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer; 16 For I say unto you shall not eat it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God. 17 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take, and divide it among yourselves; 18 For I tell you no longer drink of the fruit of the vine until the coming of the kingdom of God. 20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. 21 But behold, the hand of him who betrays me is with me at the table. 22 And, indeed, the Son of man goes as it is determined; but woe to that man by whom he is betrayed! Noble readers notice that my way to show them any theme is different; because I prefer to show in more detail, so there is a better understanding and understanding. Usually you will find one or two verses: but if you do not read the Bible will have difficulties to understand that verse. I prefer to leave the issue longer umpoco, but to make everyone understand in a clear and objective manner. Here in Luke, verse was placed and 15; but what's the reason Jesus had spoken these words! Jesus could have resisted the temptation of betrayal. But he remained faithful to the "Father God" that the Scriptures be fulfilled. The next and Philippians. 1:23. But watch what these verses say: Filip.1. "19 For I know this to my salvation through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, 20 According to my earnest expectation and hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed; but with all confidence, Christ will be, both now and always, magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. 21 For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain. 22 But if to live in the flesh give me the fruit of my work, I do not know then what I shall choose. 23 But on both sides I'm in trouble, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. 24 But it is more necessary for your sake, stay in the flesh. 25 And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your progress and joy of faith, "See what it says in Galatians 5. They are words of liberation, of salvation. They are you resist sin tentaçõesdo. The verse here is 23; but watch what these verses say. Gal.5 "16 But I say, Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are opposed to each other, so they do not do what you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and such like: of the which I tell you, as I told you before, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance. 23 Against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. "
They saw what they showed in verse. 23! Things are these, shown in the before and after 23.
What areas of your life you believe are harmless? Even the wishes of the day to day can be pitfalls to sin: date; to have fun; have money, friends; get out; walk; travel; be popular. Most of the time, we arm these traps for ourselves. You know what is the nature of their desires, so be alert! Do not underestimate a temptation!
 2. truths about the path of temptation (James 1:15)
2.1 Scale: sin: The temptation is responsible for advertising, propagate, offer, encourage the practice of sin. Greed is the mother of sin, it conceives and gives birth. Many feed the greed thinking that can withstand the temptation. Thus, they end up falling into the trap of greed. Synonymous with "design" in this context is "allow", "allow". From the moment that the person consents or permits greed, will naturally allowing the entrance of sin. And sin can be very subtle. If we surrender to the pleasures of food, we become gluttons; if we consent with alcohol, can be dominated for it; if we let ourselves take the rest, we can become lazy. 2.2 Destination: death. The goal and the ultimate consequence of sin is always death. Thus from the start with the serpent in the Garden of Eden. Even before the consummation of sin, death was given as the sentence of God on sin (Gen. 2:17). On the day they sinned, Adam and Eve died spiritually (Rom 5:12), as they were separated from intimacy with God who is the source of life. Physical death came later to confirm what had already taken place spiritually in humans. Genesis 2 15 And he took the SenhorDeus man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat, 17 But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat; for in the day you eat thereof, you shall surely die. Not resist the temptation to die for God in sin, but that can be saved repenting. For lack of discipline (obedience to God), death occurs (Prov. 5.22-23). "20 And why, my son, Would I leave you attracted to another woman, and you embrace the bosom of a stranger? 21 Behold the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and he weighs all his paths. 22 As for the wicked, their iniquities will capture, and the cords of his sin will be held. 23 He will die because unwisely walked, and the greatness of his folly will be lost. "
2.3 Alternative: Trail: We must resist the devil, but we must get away from our passions (James 4.7; 1 Cor 6:18; 2 Timothy 2:22.). It is very difficult to overcome alone our own instinct. Paul felt it on the skin. See how to resist the devil, temptation in the word of God. Tiago. Tg. 4. "4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? So whoever wants to be friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. 5 Do ye think that the Scripture says in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us jealous? 6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Come near to God and He will draw close to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and, ye double minded, purify your hearts. I felt 9 Be afflicted, and mourn and weep; convert your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up. 11 Brothers, do not speak against each other. He who speaks against a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law; and if you judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law but a judge. 12 There is one lawgiver who can save and destroy. But you, who are you to judge another? "
See what it says in I Cor.6.18: "15 Know ye not that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them the members of an harlot? No, certainly. 16 Know ye not that he which is joined to a harlot is one body with her? They shall be said, two in one flesh. 17 But that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but the immoral man sins against his own body. 19 Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you from God, and ye are not of yourselves? 20 For ye are bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. "
The reason is that our human nature has been corrupted by sin, and only through the sacrifice of Jesus can be purified and no longer be slaves to sin (Rom. 6.20,22). "17 But thank God that you were slaves of sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were delivered. 18 And freed from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. 19 I speak as a man, the weakness of your flesh; For just as you presented your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity, so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. 20 For when ye were the servants of sin, were free of righteousness. 21 What fruit did you have then in those things which you are now ashamed? For the end of them is death. 22 But now, freed from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. "With Jesus, we are able to avoid sin, and the best way to do this on our own greed We are running away. Greed has only two purposes: either it is satiated, or is abandoned. The best way to abandon covetousness is to move away from what is coveted. No one ever said such an attitude would be easy. Jesus tells us that there are two ways to go: one that leads to life; one that leads to death. The way of life is cramped and hard to get (Matt 7 "13 And lead us not into temptation,. But deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever Amen.. 14 for if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 but if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
To wend, we must be willing to deny ourselves (Matt. 16:24). This is the only route of escape from temptation. Mateus. 16. "24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross, and follow me; 25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake shall find it. 26 For what shall it profit a man to gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. 28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man in his kingdom. "
What you have lost because of sin: dreams, friends, opportunities, family, ministry? How many of these things could have been saved if you open up some selfish desires and sought to follow what Jesus taught us? The right time to repent and leave a gap is before dropping it. Before it's too late. Bottom line: The temptation is a problem caused by us and not by God. The devil is tempting, but is in us the temptation and sin. The challenge is to recognize our vulnerability, our weakness, and overcome it. We are unable to face the temptation, because we are weak before our own desires. Therefore, the only way to overcome temptation is to escape it. But escape what attracts us requires spiritual strength. So we need to find strength in one who was tempted but never sinned: Jesus Christ Hebrews 4. "13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight; but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to. 14 Since we have a great high priest, Jesus, Son of God, which passed into the heavens, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we have not a high priest who can not sympathize with our weaknesses; but who, like us, everything has been tried, but without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time being. "Alimentemo us the pa¬lavra of God and care for 1 Tim. 4. "8 For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for everything, having promise of the present and to come life. 9 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation; 10 For therefore we labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers. 11 These things command and teach. 12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. 13 Keep on reading, to exhortation and teaching, until I go. 14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of hands of the presbytery. 15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. 16 Watch your life and doctrine closely. Continue in them; . For in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you "Part of this research was the lesson Author: Everson Souza Pereira
>> Study originally published by the Christian Evangelical Publishing in the journal "James: living the Christian faith." Used with permission. This research has been reviewed by José Carlos Ribeiro                                   How to overcome temptations:
1 - having commitment to God: "And it came to talking about it every day to Joseph, and not giving it he heard, to lie with her and be with her, it happened on a certain day he came to the house to make your service; and none of the house was there; And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me. And he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out "Genesis 39." 7 It happened after these things that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph, and said. Lie with me. 8 But he refused, and said to the Lord your wife, Behold, my master does not know what is in the house with me, and to my hand all you have; 9's bigger than me No one in this house, and no such thing has forbidden me but thee, because thou art his wife; how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? 10 And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph every day, not giving him he heard, to lie with her and be with her, 11 came to pass on a certain day he came to the house to do his business; and none of the house was there; 12 And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me. And he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out. 13 and 14 called the men of her house, and spoke to them, saying, See, my husband brought us a Hebrew man to mock us; He came to me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice; 15 And it came to pass, when he heard that I raised my voice and screamed, he left his garment with me, and fled, and got him out. 16 And she laid up his garment by her, until his Lord returned to his house. "Joseph paid a high price for his honesty causade. He was imprisoned for more than two years, but had the reward of God in your life. In this passage of Scripture we see the commitment of a young man with God, his name was Joseph, son of Jacob. When tempted to lie with the wife of his master he fled, that because he had committed, not with their intimate and carnal desires but with their God who is holy and wants us to be holy as he is 1 Peter 1. "13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope fully on the grace that is to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance; 15 But as the Holy One who called you, be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written: 'Be holy because I am holy "What we come to flee from sin when it hit our door with their appeals, often irresistible.. Let us not forget that with the temptation also will escape 1 Corinthians 10. "12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take not fall. 13 There hath no temptation, but human; but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able, but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you can stand. 14 Wherefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry. 16 Doth not the cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not the communion of Christ's body? 17 For we, being many, are one bread and one body, for we all partake of the one bread. 21 Ye can not drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; . You can not partake of the Lord's table and the table of demons "Other verses that teach us to flee from sin are these: 1 Cor 6:18; which has been placed here. See what it says in 1 Tim 6:11. Talks about the temptation of wealth, put first the money, greed, greed, greed etc. "9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which some coveting have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, reproach, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ; 15 Which in his time show the blessed and only Potentate Lord, King of kings and Lord of lords; 16 He that hath, he only hath immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen 17 Have the rich of this world not to be haughty, nor trust in uncertain riches, but on God, who richly gives us all things to them we enjoy.; 18 What do good, to be rich in good works, to distribute, willing, and to communicate; 19 laying up in store for themselves a good foundation for the future, so they can have eternal life. "
2 - Resisting the Devil: "Submit yourselves therefore to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you." (James 4.7). On the one hand, as I said, we are tempted by our own passions, another agent is Satan, however, the Bible warns us to flee from sin, on the other hand, it tells us to resist the Devil! For this we need to know the Word of God that will help us resití it (Mt 4.1 ao10), in these verses we see that Jesus, in the desert, overcame temptation by saying, "It is written." 3 - Watching and praying, "Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation; in fact, the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. "(Matt. 26:41). and Jesus did not pray only once. He prayed always. There is no way to beat him, if we lack strength, let us pray, let us sing to the Lord, do your work, and meditate on His Word, because by doing so we are taking our life with what edifies (Gal 3.2; Filip 4.8) often we fall into the deception of Satan because we occupy our minds with what does not edify, however, is praying and watching that we will be alert not to fall into the snares prepared for nós.4 - Walking in the Spirit: "I say then, Walk in the Spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. "(Gal 5:16). The Holy Spirit of God has a very important role in our daily living. He dwells in our body, which makes us understand that he does not care only with our heart, in the biblical sense of the word, but with all our being, spirit, soul and body (1 Thess. 5:23). The Holy Spirit his holiness gives us in a practical sense, this sanctification occurs in us gradually and takes day-to-day toward the holiness of Christ that one day we will reach (1 Thess 3.2), so we walk in the direction of the Spirit and it will enable us to overcome the temptations!
Conclusion: I want to finish with a very edifying passage of scripture: "2 Peter 2" 9 So know the Lord rid of temptation pious, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished; 10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government; headstrong, opinionated, not afraid to speak evil of dignities; 11 Whereas angels, which are greater in strength and power, not blasphemous judgment against them before the Lord. 12 But these, as irrational animals, which follow nature, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of you do not understand, they will perish in their own corruption, 13 Receiving the reward of injustice; as they that take pleasure in daily treats; They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their deceptions, while they feast with you; 14 Having eyes full of adultery, and not cease from sin, enticing unstable souls, having a heart exercised in covetousness, children of curse; 15 Which have forsaken the right way, have erred by following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; 16 But was rebuked for his transgression; the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet. 18 For when they speak great swelling vanities things, they entice through the lusts of the flesh, and wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error, 19 promising them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption. For of whom a man is overcome, of the same is also done servant. 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, has become to them the last things worse than the first. 21 For better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them; "
Jesus promises to deliver us from the day of temptation to come to try them that dwell on the earth (Rev. 3:10) Pay attention also in these verses. "8 I know thy works; behold, before thee an open door, and no man can shut; a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. 9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I love you. 10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11 Behold, I come quickly; hold fast that which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. 12 I who overcomes, I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he never will; and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from my God, and my new name. 13 who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. So it is hard to resist all this, we have hope in God that one day it will take for us to be in forever with Him and this corruptible will have been changed in an incorruptible body of glory in heaven where afflictions will have an end, if we suffer for Christ he will reward us. See what it says in 1 Peter 4 "12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13 But rejoice in the fact partakers of the sufferings of Christ, so that at the revelation of his glory you may rejoice and joy. 14 If the name of Christ you are reproached, blessed are you, because on you rests the Spirit of glory and of God; as for them, it's him, yes, blasphemed, but as for you, is glorified. 15 Let none of you suffer as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or as what busybody in other men; 16 But if as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but let him glorify God on this behalf. 17 For it is time for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where will appear the wicked and the sinner? 19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to him, as to a faithful Creator, doing good. Today we live in a perverted society and dominated by sin, where what prevails is the error and immorality. It is very difficult to resist the delicacies that the world offers us, but if we remain steadfast in the Word of God, we can resist all kinds of temptation offered by Satan. After all, who beat the meat will be able to sit on the throne. We have to trust God and move on.
Endure, because Jesus is coming! An example that fits perfectly in this study is the Corinthian church, whose city was sunk in sin, and being a Christian was difficult. There, no one knew what was to be a Holy God. But be wicked, a fornicator, a drunkard, thief, deceptive, immoral, murderous, perverted sexually and idolatrous, was perfectly normal. To be a Christian, a servant of God in the midst of so much sin was a huge challenge. Just as it is today. In these last days before the return of Christ, sin is growing alarmingly. Unfortunately there will come a day when everything bad happen, but who remain faithful to God will receive the crown of life. See what it says in Matthew 24. "4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you; 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars; behold, not dismayed, because it is necessary that all this happens, but it is not yet the end. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you; and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray will each other, and each other will hate one another. 11 And many false prophets, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that endureth to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. "I want you to know that the above verse was left by Jesus as a sign that his coming would be next. We have to sanctify us every day to go look more to God, asking for His forgiveness and fellowship with Him often. Jesus is coming back! Purity is essential. Stay pure today before God is very difficult, but greater is the Spirit that is in us than the spirit that is in the world. By the time the temptation comes recommend that you remember the following verse: "There hath no temptation, but human; but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able, but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you can stand. "(1 Cor 10:13). You can stand: you can stand and say no. God will not allow us we suffered temptations that can not stand. The temptation is part of the Christian walk, and resisting it, you will grow in the power of the Holy Spirit of God. Make the Word of God their power and authority and live in obedience to everything she says. Walk straight and keep all kinds of temptation. "When men play out the Word, then God throws out of them, then Satan takes the hand and leads them to traps to your pleasure."
Noble readers, to be a very important topic, I want to explore a little more about resist the devil, and also show about living on the Deuse power sharing faith. I hope to be getting to spend all of you as we can resist temptations without practicing temptations. But the biggest difficulty is that we do not use the weapons that the Lord left us who were clothe their armor, as shown in Ephesians. 6. 1-18: my thanks to all of you for the great encouragement that everyone has given me here in this blog, because I have reached every continent, and this has given me a lot of strength to continue writing, researching. To let everyone know, I got a Bible study, and through it I'm doing this series of topics already in the XIII, and do not know when I will stop.

Wie erhalten und verdienen Gottes Segen in Ihrem Leben. Teil XIII Resisting Versuchung: Leben in der Kraft Gottes. Teilen Sie Ihren Glauben.
 1. Wahrheiten über die Natur der Versuchung:
I - Inevitable. (Jakobus 1:13). Sehen Sie, was er sagt, in Korinther.
Tim. 2,13.
Aber entkommen, was zieht uns geistige Kraft erfordert.
Sehen Sie, was es heißt in 1 Tim 6.11.
Sehen Sie, was es sagt in 1.
Endure, weil Jesus kommt! Sehen Sie, was es sagt in Matthäus 24.

Parte I Também em Inglês Grego e Alemão

Discernimento, entendimento e Sabedoria: O que é discernimento segundo a Bíblia. Parte I                   Conhecendo  melhor a Bíblia, e a palavra de Deus.
