                  The Power of Prayer and Fasting. Learn Why!
This theme was inspired by the work of the author, Gordon Lindsay. Prayer & fasting. Will Our next subject. Amen. May the Lord God enlighten us, and that is blessed in Jesus name. Magnitude of this issue that will bring them enough understanding, knowledge, and wisdom. Amen We can not fail to mention names like. Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, Samuel, David Elijah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, and others. These men were very Amen; blessed, and greatly used by God. For interceded for thousands, and million people, certainly prayed and fasted for the peoples and nations.
        They were very important for the destiny of humanity.
Moses was the largest, was the only one who saw the glory of God personally. To save his people's punishment of the Lord, Moses fasted for 40 days and 40 nights until. God repented of not fulfilling what was promised. Because people did everything opposite, not obeying the laws, and commandments of God. Ex. 34 "27  And the Lord said to Moses: Write these words, because the tenor these words I have made a covenant with thee and Israel.28 And he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights: he neither ate bread nor drank water, and wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments. When 29  Moses came down from Mount Sinai, bringing in his hand the two tables of testimony, even when he descended the mountain, Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone, God having spoken to him. 32 Then came also all children of Israel, and he commanded them all that the Lord had spoken to him on the hill Sinai.
           The author says that the Bible describes three types of fasting. 1  Fasting without food, and
without water. This happened with Moses. Fasting supernatural, it was a case of Moses, so that his face was transfigured with the glory of God. back a little. The Lord spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai, and ask her to show her Exodus glory. 33. "18  And he said, I beseech thee show me thy glory. 19 The Lord answered him: I will make all My goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim My name Jehovah, and I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and have compassion on whom I sympathize. 20 And he said no you can see my face, for no man can see My face and live. 21 And the LORD said, Behold a place by me, here on the rock, thou shalt stand. 22  And when My glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft of the rock and cover you with My hand until I have passed by. 23 Then when I take her hand, will see my back, but My face shall not be seen. "
        2 Fast common. Fasting without food but drinking water, drinking water is not Food: 3 of the custard not "desirable, said Daniel desirable delicacy. I did not eat, no meat or wine entered my mouth. Dan 10. "2 In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks. 3 I ate no pleasant, no meat or wine entered my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, until they met the full three weeks. "What's important the person who fasts, spends much time in prayer: Pray without ceasing: 1Tess. 5: 17 Pray without ceasing.18 In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. "  Need not be audible prayer all the time with time it becomes as natural as breathing. Just as there is proper way to pray, to worship God, to exercise the gifts of the Spirit, there is also the right way to fast. If possible to do fast in secret. Fasting properly is so important that Jesus pointed out that at the beginning of his ministry. Later, he would show his disciples the power of fasting. A faith that would move mountains, which would expel demons Math 17. "18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, which left the boy, who, from that" hour was cured. 19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately, and asked him: Why could not we cast him out?  20 He said to them: Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Move from here to there, and he will pass, and nothing will be impossible. 21 [but this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.]
         When you fast grieved not shown you, do not be hypocrites. When thou fastest anoint thy head, wash your face: Matthew 6. "16 When you fast, do not look contristrados like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces to show men they are fasting. Verily I say they have received their reward. 17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head and wash thy face, 18 for not showing people that you are fasting, but to thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee . Do not fast for vanity to receive the honor of man, but to the Lord  "Jesus." Amen .
          Do not like that publican did. Luc. 18: "10 Two men went to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other publicano.11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself: O God, I thank thee that I am not as other men, swindlers, unjust, adulterers nor yet with this I fast two publicano.12 times a week, I give tithes of all that ganho.13 But the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner! 14 I tell you this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but what the humble himself shall be exalted. "As fast as the competition is not why do religious fanatics. Be humble, honest, fast, on behalf of others, the needy. If anyone can do it for you, and you the next. Mourn the Lord. Cry aloud, do not tarry. Do not wait to hear these words. Isa. 57.13ao19 & 58.1 to 12: It says in Isa.57."10 In your long journey thou hast been weary, yet do not say: There is no hope: thou hast found it to renew your strength, so do not enfraqueceste.11 But who have you been afraid or fear to lie, and do not remember me, nor thy heart? Is it not because I kept silence, and that a long time, and not fear me? 12 I will declare thy righteousness, and thy works, they shall not profit thee. 13 When you cry out, to free the idols you have gathered, but the wind shall take, to snatch a breath, but he who trusts in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain. 14 And it is said to be: Make straight, Make straight, prepare the way, take away the stumbling blocks the way of my people. 15 For thus saith the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: a high and holy place, and also with the contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite. 16 For I will not contend forever, neither will I be angry, because before me the spirit and the breath of life that I created. 17 For the iniquity of his covetousness. I was angry and smote him: and was wroth, but
rebelling, he followed the path of your coração.18 I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; also guide you, and I will give you consolation to him and that pranteiam.19 I create the fruit of lips: Peace, peace to him who is far away, and what is near, saith the Lord, and I will heal him. "
          Fasting is the strengthening of faith for those who wish to release to the sick, and sinners. Fasting is meant to the natural man to spiritual.
To strengthen the prayer, and confidence necessary to expel demons and heal the sick. Establish a reason, a purpose for prayer and fasting. Always do so for the benefit of others. Ideally, someone do this for you, so you are not being selfish. Remember Jesus never did things for him, just you read the Bible. Things are not directed to God, were not met. Fasting should always be to the glory of God. In Zechariah, Zech. The sons of Judah fasted and wept not for God. They did this for 70 years.
           Zac. 7. "3 and to tell the priests that were in the house of the Lord of hosts, and the prophets: I weep in the fifth month, and fasting, as I have done for so many years? 4 Then the word of the Lord of hosts came unto me, saying: 5 Speech to all the people of this land, and the priests, saying,  When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months during those seventy years, did the same to me that you fasted? "God speaks to Joshua, and fulfills the promises made to Moses Cheer up, be strong, be of good cheer.Js.1. [...} 2 Moses my servant is dead: now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou and all this people, unto the land which I give the children of Israel. 3 Every place that foot on the sole of your foot, I gave unto you, as I promised Moses. 5 Nobody can resist all the days of thy life. As I was with Moses, so you'll not fail thee, nor forsake thee. 6 Be strong and of good courage: for thou shalt make this people to inherit the land I swore to their fathers to give them. 7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, taking care to do according to all the law which Moses my servant commanded thee not swerve from it, neither right nor left, the order that you be successful where you're going. 8 shall not depart from your mouth about these laws, meditate on it day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and prosper. 9 Do not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage, not afraid, neither be dismayed; for the LORD thy God is with you wherever you go. Joshua was assigned to lead his people the promised land, where flowing with milk and honey. Be sure of one thing these people were very close to God. Why? Feared, obeyed God, the laws commandments and statutes. Did not doubt the promises as his people did, and we do. You may even find that they prayed, fasted, so men were complete. Joshua encourages the people to observe the laws of the Lord. As the people is very naughty, he makes a new covenant with his people. Joshua. 00:14 to 33.
        Here is another example of loyalty, fidelity, honesty, righteousness, love and fear God: Jeremiah. It was also a prophet often used by God. So says the vanity to Move fast. Jer. 10. 2 {...} Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the nations, nor be dismayed at the signs of heaven, the nations are dismayed at them, 3 For the customs of the peoples are vanity; cut down the forest and a tree is raging with ax by the hands of the craftsman. 11 Thus you shall say to them: The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, these shall perish from the earth and under heaven. 12 He made the earth by his power, he established the world by his wisdom and his intelligence spanned the heavens. 13 When he utters his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and He makes up the ends of the earth vapors; makes lightnings for the rain, and its treasure bringeth forth the wind. 14 Every man is stupid and has no knowledge, of their graven image every goldsmith is put to shame: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them. 15 They are vanity, the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish. 16 It is not like these which is the portion of Jacob, because He is the former of all things, and Israel is the tribe of his inheritance. Lord of hosts is his name. "
          Then glory to the Lord before the coming of darkness. Do not break the covenant with God, never do what they did. God asks Jeremiah to pray for that people do not rebel, and cursed, because they did not fulfill the covenant they made with "God." Jer.11. {...} 2 Hear the words of this covenant, and speak to the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem. 3 Say to them: Thus saith the Lord God of Israel: Cursed be the man who did not hear the words of this covenant, 5 for the oath which I did to your fathers to give them a land flowing with milk and honey , as at this day. So I answered and said, Amen, O Senhor.6 told me, because the Lord, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem, saying,  Hear the words of this covenant and do them. 7 For instance admonished with your fathers in the day that I brought them out of Egypt until this day, witnessing and saying, Hear My voice. 8 Yet they obeyed not, neither inclined their ear, but walked every one in the stubbornness of their evil heart: therefore I brought upon them all the words of this covenant which I commanded them to keep, but did not. 11 Therefore thus saith the Lord: Behold, I will bring calamity upon them that they can not escape, cry to me, but I do not hear them. 14 And thou shalt not pray for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, why will not hear them at the time that they cry unto Me for their trouble.} Jeremiah had a tough mission to show and bring the truth to the children of Israel, who were rebels to extremes. But Jeremiah constantly prayed and interceded with God on behalf of his people. God spoke through his prophets to his people, the children of Israel, Jeremiah and the Lord heard, and conveyed to them all but there was much intercessory prayer through Jeremiah. For he was chosen by God even before coming to the world at his mother's womb. See what it says in Jer. 13. "15 Hear and give ear, be not proud, because the Lord has spoken. 16 Give glory to the Lord your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, before that, you look for light, he turn it into utter darkness, and to reduce the deep darkness. 17 But if ye will not hear, my soul shall weep in secret because of your pride, and my eyes weep, and will dissolve into tears, because the Lord's flock is taken captive. 18 Say to the king and queen-mother, Humble yourselves, sit you down, because your head has fallen from the crown of your glory. "
         Intercession is an act of worship: see what it says in vain to pray for those people.
Jer. 14. "10 Thus saith the Lord concerning this people, Thus have they loved to wander, and have not refrained their feet, so the Lord will not accept them, but now remember their iniquity, and visit their sins. 11 He said to me the Lord: Do not pray for this people for their good. 12 When you fast, do not hear their cry, and when they offer burnt offerings and sacrifices, I will not accept them: but I will consume them by sword, famine and pestilence. "
But it was enough to be an intercession, "God" su returned back with anger!
So is "God" loving and forgiving.
      God told Jeremiah, who would not hear their cry, nor his fasting in support of the people. David when he failed, he committed two sins to death if he did not repent. He committed adultery and he killed the woman's husband with adulterated. He paid a high price for it. Thus it happened: 1Sam 11: 2,4,5-15-23. The punishment to David. 1Sam.12 1ao24: David prayed and fasted for seven days, yet received the punishment of the Lord. The son he had with Bathsheba died. But the most curious is the following: I can not explain to them how the Lord God after repentance of David was forgiven and blessed his relationship with Bathsheba. From this union was born, Solomon. 2 Samuel. Sam. 12. {...} 8 and gave thee the house of thy lord, and the women thy master in thy bosom, gave thee the house of Israel and Judah: and if this were not enough, you would add as much. 9 Why have you despised the word of the Lord, doing evil in his eyes? Uriah the Hittite, killed by the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, slain him with the sword of amonitas.10 Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house, because she despised me, and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife.11 Thus saith the Lord: Behold, I will raise your own house of evil upon thee, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbor, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun. 12 For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and the sunlight. 13 Then David said to Nathan, I have sinned against the Lord. And Nathan said to David, the Lord has forgiven your sin: you shall not die. .... 16 David therefore besought God for the child, and fasted, and, gathering himself, spent all night upon the earth. 17 Then the elders of his house stood beside him to make him get up the land, but he would not, nor eat with them. 18 On the seventh day the child died, and the servants of David feared to tell him that the child was dead: for they said: Behold, while the child is still alive, we spoke to him, but he would not hearken unto our voice: how then will tell you that the child died? May do some harm. 19 And David saw that his servants whispered, and held that the child was dead: therefore David said to his servants the child dead? And they said died. 20 Then David arose from the earth, washed, anointed himself, and changed his clothes, and went into the house of the Lord, loved it. Then came home and asked what to eat, and gave him, and he ate. 21 Then his servants said unto him, Why hast thou done? the child alive you fasted and wept, but after the child died you arose and ate. 22 And he said: When the child was still alive, I fasted and wept, for he said: Who knows if the Lord will be gracious to me, so that the child may live? .... See how God is loving and forgiving! As he holds no grudge and resentment as we do not! ... 24 Then David comforted Bathsheba his wife, and went and lay with her. And she had a son, and gave him the name of Solomon. And the Lord loved him and had 25 through the prophet Nathan to give him the name Jedidiah, because of the Lord.} This is a great love or not! Any questions! If you still have, remove now.
       The prayer and fasting that saved more than 2 million lives in the desert. This statement was given second Bible study for people jigs for it. First God met Moses at the burning bush and gave him the task of removing the children of Israel from Egypt.
Exodus. 3; 1ao10. God made a covenant with Moses. "1 Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father-priest of Midian, and brought the herd back from the wilderness, and came to Horeb, the mount of God. 2 appeared to him an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire from a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed, 3 and he said: Now I will turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. 4 And the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, called him out of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses! He said, "Here I am. May God continued: Draw not nigh hither; takes the shoes off thy feet, for the place where you are standing is holy ground. 6 And he said I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob And Moses hid his face because he was afraid to look upon God. 7 And the Lord said: Indeed I have seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters, for I know their sufferings, 9 And now, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me, and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them. 10 Now therefore come and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that ye take out of Egypt my people, the children of Israel. 11 Then Moses said to God, Who am I, to go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Egypt to Israel? 12 And he said: Surely I will be with thee, and this will be the sign that I sent you: When you have brought from Egypt my people, serve God upon this monte.13 Moses said unto God, Behold, when I is the children of Israel and say to them: The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they ask me: What is your name? What will tell? 14 And God said to Moses: I am who I am. He said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel: I AM hath sent me unto you.
"   And Moses made the people, and they agreed. But they gave the enemy breaches, if not for the dedication, love, persistence, perseverance of Moses with God. They would not have entered the promised land. God spoke to Moses on Mount Saint in Exodus.19.3ao25 in summary: {...} 2 Rephidim party having entered the Sinai desert, where they camped, Israel, for there encamped before the mount. 3 Then Moses went up to God, and mount the Lord called him, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel: 4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, how I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you to Me 5 Now therefore, if ye will obey My voice and keep My covenant, you shall be My treasured possession among all peoples, for Mine is the whole earth: 6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests and holy nation. These are the words that speak to the children of Israel. 9 Then the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. Moses told his people the words of the Lord. 10 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them today and tomorrow let them wash their clothes 11 and be ready for the third day for the third day the Lord will come down before the eyes of all the people on Mount Sinai. 12 also set bounds to the people around, saying,
Beware, Go not up on the mountain or touch the end, whoever touches the mountain will be killed. 14 Then Moses came down the hill to the people, and sanctified the people, and they washed their clothes. 15 And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not near the woman. 16 On the third day in the morning, there were thunders and lightnings and a thick cloud upon the mountain, and heard a voice of the trumpet exceeding loud, so that all the people that were in the camp trembled. 18 In this whole mount Sinai smoked, because the LORD descended upon it in fire and smoke rose like smoke from a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly. 19 And the sound of a horn growing increasingly Moses spoke and God answered him by a voice.
21 Then the LORD said unto Moses, Go down, warn the people, lest they run through the limits to the Lord, to see, and many of them perish. 25 So Moses went down to the people and told them so.}
         God gave Moses the Ten Commandments. Ex. 20:1 to 26. While Moses climbed the mountain to write the commandments, and taking long, his people did everything opposite. They began to worship other gods without the consent of Moses. They produced a golden calf and worshiped him, and Moses breaking the tablets of the testimony, and orders to kill the idolaters. Ex. 32; 1ao29: And intercession for his people. Êx. 32: 29 to "29 And Moses said, Consecrate yourselves today to the LORD, even every man upon his son and against his brother, may the Lord grant you a blessing today. 30 The next day Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: but now I will ascend to the Lord, perhaps I will make atonement for your sin. 31 So Moses took the Lord and said, "Oh! This people have sinned a great sin, making them gods of gold.32 Now therefore, forgive their sin, or if not, blot me out of thy book which thou hast written. 33 Then the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, to blot out of my book. 34 Now go, lead the people to the place that said unto thee: behold, my angel shall go before thee: but the day of my visit, about them visit their sin. "  Moses was the only human being on this earth who had the privilege of being close to "God" and see the glory of the Lord, even the back, because no human can see God's face! I believe that only Jesus Christ. " And God spoke to Moses face to face, not even seeing God in the face.  Moses asks God to show him his glory. Ex. 32; 1your 35: The Lord spoke to Moses, Ex.33. "9 When Moses entered the tent, the pillar of cloud descended and stood at the door of the tabernacle and the Lord spoke to Moses. 10 So all the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the door of the tabernacle, and all the people rose up and worshiped, each at the door of his tenda.11 And the Lord spoke to Moses face to face, as a speechwith his friend. And he turned again to the camp, but his servant, the young man Joshua son of Nun, not out of the tent. "  Finally, Moses was very special to God and also very important. Moses fighting words in the right direction with God in behalf of his people, rebellious and murmuring.  Yes: they were too stubborn and disobedient to, and faced the wrath of Moses "God" for his people to be saved. For "God" even offered to Moses, another nation, another people less rebellious, more obedient! But Moses, remained firm in defense of his people, fasting. In prayer, in intercession. The forty days of fasting and prayer of Moses broke the forces of darkness, and moved the compassion of God. And saved her people from dying in the desert. This happened not only because of persistence, perseverance, the cry of Moses. God had given to help these people. Men like Moses in the entire Bible, no, and never will be. "God so loved much to Moses because of his faithfulness.
Prayer and fasting in times of Judges. Before talk of Joshua, who served God every day of your life, and was chosen to spend his people across the Jordan River. The promised land. God speaks to Joshua and animates it. Joshua. 1; 1your 9: Joshua, prepares to cross the Jordan, its people. Js. 1; 10ao18. Crosses the Jordan with his people and also with the Ark of the covenant, which was responsible for Joshua. Js.3.1ao17. For a better understanding of everything, read also chap. 4 ... In times of Joshua, his people did not suffer further persecution. For God was with Joshua in all his days. Judges. 2, 6, "When Joshua dismissed the people, were themselves the children of Israel, each to his inheritance, to possess the land. 7 The people served the Lord all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders who outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great work of the Lord, which he did for Israel. 8 She died, however, Joshua son of Nun, servant of the Lord at the age of one hundred and ten years;  Because there were judges in Israel! Why are the children of Israel returned to commit the same mistakes, sins, worshiping other gods and worshiping, the less the true God. Therefore "God" put the judges in Israel! To judge his people, pointing them in the right direction. But it was enough that judge dies, for them to return to the same mistakes. These judges were people of prayer, intercession, fasting, too. This was the sacrifice that had and still has for us today too.
Gideon; valiant man, protected by God. An angel speaks to Gideon, and gives the quest to rid Israel of the Midianites, and with 300 men, defeated the Midianites who were numerous. To understand this passage, you have to read the caps. Judges 6 and 7. Not only had Gideon! Israel had Judge Deborah. But before that, had Otinel,  Ehud and others. See at a glance: Judges. Jz.3. 9 {...} But when the children of Israel cried unto the Lord, the Lord gave them a liberator who delivered them, Othniel son of Kenaz, the younger brother of Caleb. 10 came upon him the Spirit of the Lord, and he judged Israel, went to battle, and the Lord gave Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia, which prevailed against her hand: 11 And the land had rest forty years, and Othniel son of Kenaz died. ... When there was crying, there was prayer, and God sent another judge to Israel, but it was enough to die this Judge or judge, to everything back into chaos. Disobedience ...15 But when the children of Israel cried unto the Lord, the Lord gave them a deliverer, Ehud the son of Gera, Benjamite left-handed man. And, through them, the children of Israel sent tribute to Eglon king of Moab. 28 And he said unto them, Follow me because the Lord hath delivered into your hands your enemies, the Moabites. Went down after him, took the fords of Jordan toward Moab, and did not overlook any of them. 29 And they slew of Moab at that time about ten thousand men, all strong and brave, and did not leak any. 30 So Moab was subdued that day under the hand of Israel and the land had rest eighty years. 31 After him came Shamgar son of Anath, who killed six hundred Philistines with an ox goad: and he also delivered Israel.}
Deborah was a prophetess and judge in Israel, and a woman of prayer. It says in Judges. 4. "3 And the children of Israel cried unto the Lord, because Jabin had nine hundred iron chariots, and twenty years he mightily oppressed the children of Israel. 4 Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time. 5 And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mount Ephraim: and the sons of Israel came up to her to trial. "  During the period in which Judge Deborah was in command over Israel, the land had rest for 40 years. Judges in 5.1 to 32 talks more about Deborah and shows how much she was a woman of prayer. In Judges, we also have the story of Samson, who was chosen by God to judge, to protect the people of Israel. Samson was very strong, almost invincible, but it was naughty, not obeying the Lord as I should. He was a womanizer, mixed with Philistine women, enemies of the people of "God." Samson fell in love with Delilah, a Philistine very pretty, but a prostitute. She received a great reward of the kings of Israel's enemies prune. Samson's strength was in his hair, and his head could never pass knife, or cut their hair. Samson Delilah fell into the trap of telling where it came from his strength.
         It was then that he was betrayed and lost his strength. But since he was a purpose of God to Israel, he asked God to restore his strength for a while in order to take revenge of the Philistines, it was so. God restored his strength, and he broke down the pillars that held the palace, killing all the enemies of Israel: and Israel settled down again for many years.
 Samson prayed to "God," he interceded for his people. Samson's story is in chapters 13-16 of Judge. But God heard the request of Samson, and restored him to power is confirmed in court. 16. "17 And he told her all his heart, and told him: Never has a razor upon my head, because I am a Nazarite to God from my mother's womb if I be shaven, it would go away my strength, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man. 18 And when Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, summoned the heads of the Philistines, saying, Come up this once, because he has told me all his heart. And the lords of the Philistines came up to her, and brought money in their hands. 19 And she made him sleep upon her knees, one man and sent him to shave off the seven locks of his head. Then she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him.
20 And she said, The Philistines are upon you, Samson! He awoke from his sleep and said, I will go out as at other times and shake myself. For he knew the Lord had departed from him.21 Then the Philistines seized him, tore out his eyes and, having taken him to Gaza, bound him with fetters of brass, and he did grind in the prison. 22 Howbeit the hair of his head after he was shaven, he began to grow again 23 Then the lords of the Philistines assembled to offer a great sacrifice unto Dagon their god, and to rejoice: for they said, Our god hath delivered into hand Samson our inimigo.24 when the people saw him, they praised their god, saying, Our god hath delivered into our hands our enemy, who destroyed our land and multiplied our slain. 25 And it happened, rejoiced his heart, said Samson Mandai come to that mess before us. They had therefore come from the prison Samson, who played before them, and made him stand between the columns. 26 Samson said unto the lad that held him by the hand Let me feel the pillars that support the temple, that I may lean upon them. 27  Now the house was full of men and women, and were there all the heads of the Philistines, and on the roof about three thousand men and women, that beheld while Samson made sport. 28 And Samson called unto the Lord and said: O Lord God! Remember me and strengthen me now just this once, O God, to me at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes. She hugged 29 And Samson with the two middle pillars, which was holding his house, leaning on a right-handed, and the other with his left. 30 And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines! He leaned with all his strength, and the house fell upon the lords and upon all the people that were therein. So who killed the most were to die than those who slew in his life. 31 went down to his brothers and all his father's house and took him, took him and buried him between Zorah and Eshtaol in the tomb of Manoah his father. He had judged Israel twenty years. So Samson completed the work to take revenge upon the Philistines, and Israel settled down for over twenty years.
       Samuel. Check out the story of Samuel, Hannah was barren, could not have children, and suffered much for it, her husband, Elkanah, had children with another. Hannah prayed fervently to God, which came to be confused as a drunk. God heard the prayer of Hannah, and answered their cry in prayer. Here's how it happened: so says in 1 Samuel.Sam.1. {...} 9 So Hannah rose after eating and drinking in Shiloh and Eli the priest sat upon a chair by the doorpost of the temple of the Lord. 10 And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the Lord, and wept, 11, and made a vow, saying: O Lord of hosts! If indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but you give him a son, to give the Lord all the days of his life, and his head no razor . 12 Continuing her to pray before the LORD, Eli observed her mouth; 13 Now Hannah spoke in her heart, only her lips moved, and was not heard his voice: therefore Eli thought she was drunk, ... 17 Then Eli answered, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant your petition which you have done. 18 And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her
way and ate, and was no longer sad countenance. 19 And they rose early in the morning and worshiped before the Lord and then they went back to his home in Ramah. Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and the Lord remembered her. 20 So Anna conceived, and in due time, had a son, and called Samuel, because, she said, "I have asked the Lord. 21 went up this man, Elkanah, and all his house to offer the Lord the yearly sacrifice and his vow. 22 But Hannah did not go up because her husband said: When the child is weaned, so will bring him, to appear before the Lord and stay there forever. 26 And she said: Oh, my Lord! As surely as thy soul liveth, my lord, I am the woman who stood here beside you praying to the Lord. 27 For this child I prayed and the Lord answered the petition that I made. 28 Therefore I also gave the Lord all the days to live, to the LORD.And he worshiped the Lord.   Ana fulfill its promise to "God"! Samuel was taken after weaning the house of the priest Eli, and handed to the priest to serve God all his life. And so it happened. Hannah prayed and said 1Sam. 2. "1 And Hannah prayed, saying," My heart exults in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the Lord, my mouth swells against my enemies, because I rejoice in thy salvation. 2 There is none holy as the Lord there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God. 3 Speak not more so haughty, nor out of your mouth arrogance, because the Lord is the God of wisdom, and by him actions are weighed. 4 The bows of the mighty are broken, and the weak are girded with strength. 5 Those who were full hire themselves out for bread, and no longer have the hunger that they were starving, until the barren has borne seven children, who had many children and weakens.6 The Lord is what gives and takes life, he brings down to Sheol and raises up there. 7 The LORD makes poor and rich, killing and also exalts. 8 Arise the poor of dust, lifts the needy from the dunghill, to make them sit with princes, to make them inherit a throne of glory: for the Lord are the pillars of the earth, they put it on the world. 9 He will guard the feet of his saints, the wicked shall be silent in darkness, because no man prevail by force. 10 The adversaries of the Lord shall be
broken in from the heavens thunder upon them. The Lord will judge the ends of the earth, gives strength to his king and exalt the horn of his anointed. 11 Then Elkanah went to Ramah to his house. The boy, however, did minister to Yahweh before Eli the priest and "
Samuel was serving the Lord, calls all the house of Israel to repentance. And how all this happened! With much prayer and fasting, when you repent, one of the main ways is to direct the prayer "Father," with no middleman. No images of saints, or any other choice.1Sam. 7.3 to "3 And Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If with all your heart for the Lord among you cast the foreign gods and the Astartes, prepare your hearts to the Lord, and serve him only: and he will deliver you from the hand of the Philistines. 4 The children of Israel, therefore, launched from among them the Baal and the Astartes, and served the Lord. 5 Samuel said, Gather all Israel to Mizpah, and I will pray for you unto the Lord. 6 assembled, therefore, at Mizpah, drew water and poured it out before the Lord, and fasted that day and said there, We have sinned against the Lord. And Samuel judged the children of Israel in Mizpah. 8 They said to Samuel, "Do not cease to cry unto the Lord our God for us, which frees us from the hand of the Philistines.
         In the days of Samuel, his people did not suffer more persecution, because God was with Samuel until the end of his days. Samuel's mission was very important in all Israel, for he became a prophet of Israel. And interlocutor between God and his people "had Samuel anoint kings of the mission as" Saul and David, "which was a great king of all Israel. David was a man of much prayer, and was not going to fight without consulting the "God" and not go to war without first hearing from "God" yes, that I'm going with you. David reigned for many years throughout Israel, but he sinned, committed adultery ordered the killing, and was responsible for this crime, we will see later. David is made king of all Israel, 2 Sam. 5. 1 to 1 So all the tribes of Israel came to David at Hebron and said: Here we are, your bone and your flesh! 2 Also in time past, when Saul was king over us, thou wast that led out and brought to Israel: and the Lord said unto thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be ruler over Israel. 3 Thus, all the elders of Israel came to the king in Hebron, and King David made a covenant with them in Hebron before the LORD: and they anointed David king over Israel. 4 David was thirty years old when he began to reign and he reigned forty years. "
          David was so different, constantly prayed and fasted. He sinned seriously, but regretted asking forgiveness of "God." He was severely punished by God, but received a pardon from the Lord, and then the punishment was blessed with the birth of Solomon, who became king in his place. And Solomon had only fourteen when this happened. And Solomon was chosen to build the house, the temple of God here on earth David's prayer to God. 2 Sam. 7.8 to 29 "Now therefore thus shalt thou say unto my servant David,
Thus saith the Lord of hosts, I took thee from the fold of the sheep, to be ruler over my people, over Israel: 9 and I was with you, wherever you went, and destroy all your enemies before thee, and thee a great name, as the name of the great ones that are on earth. 10 I will appoint a place for my people Israel and will plant them, that they may dwell in their place and not be disturbed, and never the children of wickedness afflict them, as before, 11 as from the day that I appointed judges over my people Israel. To you, however, give you rest from all thine enemies. Also the Lord declares that he will make you home. 12 And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up after thee from thy seed, that out of thy bowels, and establish his kingdom. 13 He shall build an house for my name, and I will establish forever the throne of his kingdom. 14 I will be his father, and he shall be my son. And if he does wrong, punish him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the sons of men, 15 but not depart from him as my mercy from Saul, whom I put away before thee. 16 And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established forever. 17 According to all these words and according to all this vision, so Nathan spoke to David. ....
David prayed to God thanking Him for all He had done for David and his people, the sons of Israel. Then King David went, and sat before the Lord and said, Who am I, Lord God, and that is my house, thou hast brought me hitherto? 19 Yet, this was little in thy sight, O Lord God, but also spoke of the house of thy servant to distant times, and I have shown future generations, O Lord God? 20 What more can you say David. For thou knowest thy servant, O Lord God. 21 For thy word's sake, and according to your heart, you have done all this greatness, to make thy servant. 22 Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God, for there is none like unto thee, and there is no God besides thee, according to everything we have heard with our ears. 23 What other nation on earth is like thy people Israel, whom thou, O God went to redeem for a people, to make thyself a name, and to do for you these great and terrible things to thy land, before thy people, that You redeemed for Ti from Egypt, from nations and their gods? 24 Thus ordained for Thy people Israel Thy people for ever, O LORD, thou art become their God. 25 Now therefore, the Lord God, forever confirms the word that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant and concerning his house, and do as thou hast said, 26 to be magnified thy name forever, and it is said: The Lord of hosts is God over Israel, and the house of thy servant be established before Thee 27 For thou, O Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, hast revealed to thy servant, saying, "Build thee a house. Therefore thy servant dared to make you this prayer. 28 Now therefore, O Lord God, thou art God, and your words are true, and thou hast promised this goodness unto thy servant. 29 are, therefore, now served to bless the house of thy servant, that it may continue forever before thee: for thou, O Lord GOD, hast spoken, and with your blessing the house of thy servant be blessed forever. " Note the 150 Psalms, 72 were written by David. See how this man was blessed by God, as was a man of prayer. David reigned over Israel with much justice. 2 Sam. 8. "15 reigned, David over all Israel, and administered justice and equity to all his people." The biggest mistake of David and its aftermath, which has paid a high price, even David praying and fasting, not hinder him from being punished by God for his great mistake. Read 2 Sam. caps.11e 12, so you have a better understanding of everything he did. And what was his punishment. If they have that patience is a virtue, leiam.2 Sam. 22:1 to 51, David made this song to the Lord. The last words of David: 2 Sam. 23.1 "1 These are the last words of David: David the son of Jesse, says the man who was exalted, the anointed of the God of Jacob, the sweet psalmist of Israel. 2 The Spirit of the Lord spoke by me, and his word in my language. 3 the God of Israel spoke, the Rock of Israel said to me: When a righteous rule over men, ruling in the fear of God will be like 4 in the morning light coming out of the sun, cloudless morning, when, after the rain, by the glare of the sun, the grass springs from the earth. 5 For it is not my house so with God? Hath made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things and sure: He will not prosper because all my salvation and all my desire? 6 But the wicked will all be as thorns thrust away, because you can not touch them, 7 but if anyone touches them will set the iron and the shaft of a spear, and they are burned in the same place. "
        Solomon son of David, this was the chosen of God to build the temple of the Lord. Solomon asks God, An understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and evil: The one who can judge this thy so great people.
And the speech pleased the Lord: 1Rs.3. "5 In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night, and said unto him, Ask what I give you that. 6 And Solomon said, with great kindness thou hast for thy servant my father, as he walked before thee in truth, justice, and uprightness of heart with thee, and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, and giving him a son who sit on his throne, as it is this day. 7 Now therefore, O Lord my God, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father. And I'm just a young boy, I do not know how to go out or enter. 9 Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who can judge this thy so great a people? 10 And in the eyes of the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.11 And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this, and hast not asked for thyself long life or riches or the life of thine enemies, but hast asked understanding to discern what is right, 12 behold, I second your words. Behold, I give you a wise and understanding heart, that before there was none like thee thy, and after thee shall any arise like yours. 13 And give you what you have not asked, both riches and honor, so there will be your equal among kings, for all thy dias.14 And yet, if you walk in my ways, keeping My statutes and My commandments, as David "
Solomon speaks to the people of Israel, and prays to God, 1Rs.8: 22ao 61: This is a long prayer, but feel the purity, sincerity, loyalty, fear, and love of Solomon to God that blesses Solomon and its people.
 Read full cap.8.1 to 61, so that there is a better understanding. Here's a summary of this chapter:{...} 12 Then spake Solomon, The Lord said to dwell in darkness. 13 Surely you have built a dwelling house, seat your eternal abode. 14 Then the king turned his face, and blessed the whole congregation of Israel, and the entire congregation stood. 15 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, who spoke with his mouth unto David my father, and his hand to his word that he said: ... 20 And the Lord kept his word that he spake to me stood in place of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD, and have built a house for the name of the Lord God of Israel. ... 22 And Solomon stood before the altar of the Lord in front of the whole congregation of Israel, and spread his hands toward heaven, 23 said: O Lord God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above or on the earth beneath, keeping covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart, 24 who hast kept with thy servant David my father, who promised him, because with your lips said it, and with your hands fulfilled it, as it is this day. 25 Now therefore, O Lord God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father, who promised him, saying: Do not miss successor before me, to sit on the throne of Israel, so that thy children take heed to their way to walk before me as you have walked. 28 And the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O Lord my God, to hearken unto the cry and prayer which thy servant prays before you today, 29 so that your eyes are open night and day toward this house, about this place, which said, My name shall be there: to hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place. 30 Hear therefore, the supplication of Your servant and of thy people Israel, when they pray toward this place. Yes, hear Thou from thy dwelling place in heaven, hear, forgive. ... 32 then hear from heaven, acts, and judge thy servants, condemning the guilty, to bring over his head and his ways, and justifying the righteous, by giving him according to his righteousness. 33 When thy people Israel are defeated before the enemy, because they have sinned against you if they return to Thee, and confess Thy name, and pray and make supplication to Thee in this house, 34 then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and makes taking him to the land they gave to their fathers. 35 When heaven is shut and there is no rain because they have sinned against you, and pray toward this place, and confess Thy name, and turn from their sin when You afflict them, 36 then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of thy servants and thy people Israel, teaching them the proper way they should go, and sends rain on your land you gave your people for an inheritance .... 38 What prayer and supplication all that any man or by all thy people Israel, each knowing the plague of his heart, and spread his hands toward this house: 39 Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, forgive, and do, give to each according to all its paths, the second you see your heart (for thou only knowest the hearts of all the sons of men); 40 for that fear thee all the days that they live in the land of our fathers.
41 Moreover concerning a stranger, which is not of thy people Israel, comes from land remote for the sake of your name 42 (they shall hear of Your great name and Thy strong hand and Your outstretched arm), when you come and pray toward this house; 43 hear from heaven, your dwelling place, and do according to all that  Foreign cry to Thee, so that all peoples of the earth may know thy name, and fear thee as thy people Israel, and know that by Thy name is called I built this house that 52 Be open your eyes to the supplication of thy servant and the supplication of thy people Israel, to hearken unto them all that they call 53 to Thee For Thou, O Lord God, separate them from among all the peoples of earth to be thine inheritance, as spoken through Moses, thy servant, when our fathers brought out of Egypt. 54 And it was, that after  Solomon to make this prayer to the Lord and this plea, on his knees and with hands outstretched to the sky, stood before the altar of the Lord Stood 55 feet, and blessed with a loud voice to the whole congregation of Israel, saying, 56 Blessed be the Lord who has given rest to his people Israel, according to all that said, did not miss even one of all the good words who spoke by Moses his servant. 57 The Lord is our God us, as it was with our fathers, let us not, nor forsake us, but 58 incline our hearts to you, to walk in all his ways, and keep his commandments and his statutes and his ordinances, which he commanded our fathers. 59 And let these my words, they pleaded with before the Lord, be nigh unto the Lord our God day and night, that he maintain the cause of his servant and the cause of his people Israel, as each day requires, so that all 60 nations of the earth may know that the Lord is God, and none else. 61 Let your heart perfect for with the Lord our God, to walk in his statutes, and keep his commandments, as at this day.}  Solomon made this beautiful prayer of thanks to "God", which is part this wonderful book called "Holy Bible" Elias was also very used by God. Elias is sustained by ravens and the widow of Zarephath. 1 Kgs. 17:2 to 24. Elijah and the prophets of Baal. Know what happened to them. 1 Kings 18: 18ao 46: This passage here, we show that it's no use to pray gods lie, as did the prophets of Baal. They invoked their gods, and were not heard nor seen, and the prophet Elijah defeated them crying out to the real "God" which were a total of 450 men, see what it says in 1 Kings. Rs. 18. {...} 22 Then said Elijah unto the people I was only a prophet of the Lord, but Baal's prophets are four hundred and fifty men. 23 Give to us, therefore, two bulls, and let them choose one bullock for themselves, and cut into pieces and lay it on wood, but put no fire, and I will dress the other bullock, and lay it on wood, and put no fire. 24 Then you call on the name of your god, and I call upon the name of the Lord, and let it be the God who answers by fire, he is God. And all the people answered, "It is well word. ... 26 And they took the bullock which was given them, prepared it, and invoked the name of Baal from morning until noon, saying, O Baal, answer us! But there was no voice and no one answered. And they leaped upon the altar which was made 30 Then Elijah said to all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came to him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord, who had been overthrown. 31 Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of the Lord, saying, Israel shall be thy name .... March 3 he put the wood, and cut the bullock in pieces, and laid on the wood, and said, Fill four barrels with water and pour it on the Holocaust and the lenha.34 he said, Do it the second time , and made him the second time. And he said, Do it the third time and made the third time. 35 And the water flowed around the altar, and he filled the trench also with water. 36 It came to pass when it was time to offer the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came and said: O Lord God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, today is manifest that thou art God in Israel; I am thy servant, and as you say I have done all these things. 37 Hear me, O Lord, answer me that this people may know that thou, O Lord, are God, and that you have your back coração.38 Then fire fell from the Lord and consumed the burnt offering, the wood, thestones and the dust, and licked up the water in the trench. Elijah prayed to God, and cried fervently}
         Elias, with a bread and water he walked in the desert for 40 days and 40 nights fasting and praying until you get to Mount Horeb. 1Rs.19. "4 But he came through the desert a day's journey, and sat down under a juniper tree and asked that he might die, saying," Enough, O Lord, take away my life because I am no better my parents. 5 And lying under a juniper tree, slept, and behold, an angel touched him, and said, Arise and eat. 6 He looked, and behold, it was at his head a cake baked on hot stones and a jar of water. He ate and drank, to lie. 7 The angel of the Lord came a second time, touched him, and said, Arise and eat, for too long you will travel. 8 He stood up then and ate and drank, and with the strength of that food forty days and forty nights to Horeb the mount of God. "See how the envoys of the Lord was faithful to Him only with the strength of thatfeed Elijah was sustained for 40 days in the desert. For God was also with him, as had also been with others. Hezekiah restored the worship of the Lord, and prayed the Lord's house. 2 Kings. 18.2ao 7 & 19, 1 to 14.19. 2 Kings. He was twenty-five when he began to reign, and reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. The name of his mother was Abi, daughter of Zechariah. 3 He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, as David had done his father. 4 Drew senior, broke the pillars, and tore down the Asherah, and shattered the brazen serpent that Moses had made (for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense), and called it NeuStar. 5 He trusted in the Lord God of Israel, so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor among those who were before him.6 For he clave to the LORD: he departed not from following him, and kept the commandments that the Lord commanded Moses. "
King Hezekiah was a man of prayer, too, and did whatever it pleased "God" Isaiah comforted Hezekiah, who was sick of death, but prayed to the Lord, read. 2 Kings. 19: 15-20 15 And Hezekiah prayed before the Lord, saying, O Lord God of Israel, who are seated on the cherubim, yourself, you alone are God over all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth. 16 Incline, O Lord, thy ear, and hear: open, O Lord, thy eyes and see, and hear the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent him to reproach the living God. 17 Truly, O LORD, the kings of Assyria have destroyed the nations and their lands, and 18 cast their gods into the fire they were no gods but the work of men's hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed. 19 Now therefore, O Lord our God, save us from his hand so that all kingdoms on earth may know that thou, O Lord, are God. 20 Then Isaiah son of Amos, and sent to Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel: I hear what you have asked me concerning Sennacherib king of Assyria. "

God sends the answer to Hezekiah. 2 Kings. 20.1ao11. And did Hezekiah throughout all Judah, which was good, straight and true before the Lord your God ... And in every work that began in the service of God's house, and the law, and commandments, to seek God with all your heart did, and prospered: 2Cron.31.20,21
"20 Thus did Hezekiah throughout all Judah, and did what was good and right and faithful before the Lord your God. 21 And all the work that began in the service of God's house, and according to the law and the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart and was successful. "
            King Josiah, was another king, who repaired the temple and did all that was right in the eyes of God.
The book of law is found. Josiah renews the covenant with the Lord and the king commanded the people to celebrate the Passover to the Lord. To better understand, read. 2 Kings. caps. 22:23 until 30. David's prayer to the Lord. 1Cron. 17. "23 Now, O Lord, be established for ever the word that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant and concerning his house, and do as thou hast said. 24 And your name be established and magnified forever, and tell yourself: The Lord of hosts is the God of Israel, even a God to Israel, stand firm before thee the house of David thy servant. 25 For Thou, O my God, hast revealed to thy servant who build him a house: therefore thy servant hath found confidence to pray in your presence. 26 Now therefore, O Lord, thou art God, and hast promised this goodness unto thy servant. 27 And now you have been served to bless the house of thy servant, to abide for ever before thee: for thou, Lord, bless, is blessed for ever.          Solomon blesses the people and thank God. Solomon's prayer. The fire and the glory of God, are the signs of his approval ... And God appeared to Solomon, and make it promises. Ideally, you read 2Cron. caps. 7até and 6 to 22, so you could see and feel the power of God on those who were faithful to them, fearful, loving, just, integrated with the Lord and obeyed the laws, and commandments. King Cyrus, Ezra, Ezra. 1; 1ao11.Ezra prays to God, and confess to God all that his people had done against the Lord.And they repented. Esd.10. {...} 1 Now while Ezra prayed and made confession, weeping and prostrating himself before the house of God, there assembled unto him out of Israel, a large congregation of men, women and children: for the people wept bitterly.So Shemaiah, son of Jehiel, one of the boys, women and children, for the people wept bitterly. So Shemaiah, son of Jehiel, one of the sons of Elam;
"He addressed Ezra, saying, We have trespassed against our God and married foreign women from the peoples of the earth, yet in spite of this, there is still hope for Israel. 3 Now therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the women and those who are born of them, according to the counsel of my Lord, and who tremble at the commandment of our God, and do according to law . 4 Arise, for the matter belongs to you, and we are with thee: be of good courage, and do it. 5 Then arose Ezra, and made the chiefs fathers of the priests and Levites and all Israel, that they should do according to this word, and they swore. 6 Then Ezra withdrew from before the house of God, and entered the chamber of Johanan the son of Eliashib and arrived, he ate no bread nor drink water, he mourned because of the unfaithfulness of the exiles. 7 And they made proclamation throughout Judah and Jerusalem to all the exiles, that they should assemble at Jerusalem, 8 and that everyone within three days did not, according to the advice of officers and elders, all his estate should be forfeited, and himself from the congregation of the exiles. ...
I'm showing you these writings here, so there is a better understanding of how the people acted in "God," living in sin, prostituting themselves, for that God does not just mean sex, God had created a people who, throughout his years , became rebellious, stubborn, disobedient, and sinful to extremes. Because of their disobedience, and their sins, "God delivered him into the hands of enemies of the people of Israel, and thus they were spreading throughout the land and polluting more and more with other people. But it's time they return from captivity, and get together, reunite, and the people of "God." They listened to the envoys of God through the prophets. The time had come to be rebuilt what was once the home of "God." The sacred temple, the walls of Jericho in Jerusalem, Israel: But it was time for them to abandon sin, separating themselves from foreigners, leaving only the children of Israel. ... 10 Then arose Ezra the priest, and said unto them, Ye have transgressed, and have married foreign women, adding to the guilt of Israel. 11 Now therefore make confession unto the Lord God of your fathers, and do what is your pleasure: and separate yourselves from the peoples of the land and women estrangeiras.12 And all the congregation responded with a loud voice, As thou hastwords we should do. 16 So what did the children of the captivity, were nominated and Ezra the priest selected men, heads of families, according to their fathers' houses, each designated by name and sat on the first day of the tenth month to examine this business. And in the first 17 days of the first month they made an end of all men who had married foreign women.}
        It was a very difficult decision for them! After all families were formed, but was the price to pay. God, it was not hard on them, the problem is that their ancestors started everything. For them to return to God, had to pay a high price to become clean again. Nehemiah, the other was chosen by "God" and heard the sad state of Jerusalem prays to God. Nehemiah was cupbearer to the king only knew! God does not choose her, because of their social class. Nee. 1. "2 that Hanani, one of my brothers, with some of Judah, and asked them concerning the Jews who had escaped, who survived the exile, and concerning Jerusalem. 3 They said to me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great distress and reproach is broken down the wall of Jerusalem and its gates burned with fire. 4 When I heard these words, I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven, 5 And said, O Lord God of heaven, great and awesome God, keeping the covenant and kindness to those who love him and keep his commandments: 6 Stay tuned your ears and your eyes open to hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before you day and night for children Israel, thy servants, confessing the sins of the children of Israel, we have sinned against thee: both I and my father's house have sinned 7 We have acted very corruptly against thee, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes , and the judgments that you commanded your servant Moses. 8 Remember, because the word that you commanded your servant Moses, saying, If ye transgress, I will scatter you among the peoples; 9 but if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments and do them, even though the your outcasts are at the end of heaven, there to gather them and bring them to the place that I have chosen to live there do my nome.10 these are thy servants and thy people, whom you redeemed by your great power and by thy poderosa.11 hand O Lord, let your ears be attentive to the prayer of thy servant and the prayer of thy servants who delight to fear thy name, and do prosper thy servant today, and grant him mercy before the man . (Now I was cupbearer to the king.) "
              Nehemiah is responsible for rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. Neh. 2: 2ao20. Repentance and confession of sin, they fasted and prayed, too. Nee. 9.1  "1 Now in the twenty-fourth day of that month, gathered the children of Israel fasted, dresses and bags of earth on their heads. 2 And the seed of Israel separated themselves from all strangers, they stood up and confessed their sins and iniquities of their fathers. And third, rising in its place, and read the book of the law of the Lord their God one fourth part of the day, and another quarter in confession and in worshiping the Lord their God.4 Then Jeshua, Bani, Kadmiel Shebaniah, Bunni, Sherebiah, Bani Chenani and stood on their feet on the stairs of the Levites and cried aloud to the Lord their God. 5 And the Levites, Jeshua, Kadmiel Bani Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodijah, Shebaniah Pethahiah and said: Arise, bless the Lord your God for ever and ever. Blessed be thy glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise. "Note that the children of Israel, and confessed the sins of their ancestors, and received from" God's forgiveness, and become pure and clean again. What they did best was the act of fasting and prayer to the true "God."
           Esther also went through a very difficult situation. Haman wanted to destroy the entire Jewish people. Esther was a Jew, along with her uncle Mordecai, who helped create Esther, as his father had died. Haman persuaded the king to create an edict against all Jews. Although Esther to be queen, could not arrive before the king without being called. For it would be death if the king did not extend to her the golden scepter. Asked Esther to Mordecai to gather all the Jews in Susa to fast for her, not eat or drink for three days, they and their servants would do the same thing too. Fasting and prayer worked. Esther went to the king, touched his rod and it was almost impossible happened. The king will be received and granted his request. It says in Esther 4. "15 Then Esther bade to answer to Mordecai: 16 Go, gather all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day, and I and my maidens will fast likewise. Then I will go with the king, though it is against the law, and if I perish, I perish.17 So Mordecai went away and did everything as Esther had commanded him. "
Esther was a woman of "God" and received the king's permission to approach him, the king. Esther 5. "1 On the third day Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the courtyard of the king's palace, opposite the king's house: and the king sat on his throne in the royal house, opposite the entrance. 2 It happened, when the king saw Esther the queen, who stood in the courtyard, she reached for him, and the king held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hand. So Esther drew near and touched the tip of the rod. "
         Want to know what and be pious, faithful, sincere, loyal, truthful, fair, integrity. He persevered, not blasphemed against God never at any time, despite all his suffering, he never turned against God, and not allow anyone to do this. For you to understand how Job suffered, but did not accuse God, his suffering, and who finally received the "God", all folded. Your life, your family, your assets, have all been multiplied by the Lord.
Isaiah was also one of the great prophets used by God. Is chosen prophet Isaiah: Isa. 6, 1.9: It was Isaiah who already knew about the coming of the Messiah. Isa. 9.6,7: "The Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" Jesus. The Messiah's kingdom is peaceful and prosperous. Isa 11.1,5,9,11. And the entire book of Isaiah is pure bliss. The greatness and glory of Messiah's reign. Isa. 35: 1ao10. Isaias intercession for Hezekiah. Isa. 38.1,2,3 - 10-15ao 22: The Book of Isaiah is also very blessed. Finally all were very important to God. Ezekiel was a prophet much used by God. The Lord spoke to Ezekiel: Eze. 2; 1ao10: God appointed watchmen in Israel, watchmen were responsible for bringing the word of the Lord. To alert those walking in sin, they were the Sentinels of God in Israel: 27 & Eze.23.17ao 33.6,9. He was commonly used in prophecies. Daniel, faithful God fearing. He interpreted dreams as anyone else, he prayed to God every day along with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, was created a decree that everyone should bow to other gods, who did not do it, would be thrown into the fiery furnace. These three would not bow, and were thrown into the furnace and were unhurt, in the same way to a 4th person, and they dance. They were taken there without any burning. And Daniel was thrown into the den of lions they also would not bow down to other gods. As nothing happened to any of them the decree was repealed, and that all should serve the same God from them. Dan 3. & 6.10,11. The three friends of Daniel, managed to get King Nebuchadnezzar changed his thinking in relation to "God." ... "21 Then these men were bound, dressed in their robes, tunics, turbans and their other garments, and were cast into the fiery furnace. 24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counselors, Did we not cast into the fire three men bound? Answered the king, True, O king. 25 Said he: But I see four men loose, walking in the fire, and no hurt; and appearance of the room is like a son of the gods. 26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near the door of the burning fiery furnace, he said, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out and come! Then Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out of the fire. 28 Nebuchadnezzar spake and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who hath sent his angel and delivered His servants who trusted him, and have the king's order, and have yielded their bodies, than to serve or worship any god except their own God. 29 Therefore I, is made a decree, that every people, nation and language, which speak blasphemy against the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego be cut in pieces and their houses made a dunghill: because there is no other god can deliver in this way. 30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon.
         Daniel, along with his three friends were men of prayer, faithful, obedient and dutiful "God", this bothered some men of the kingdom, who were demanding up to the king that he would abide by the law against those who were caught praying, worshiping other gods. And Daniel was seen doing this, worshiping the true God. See what it says in Dan.6. {...} 5 Then these men said, never find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find as regards the law of his God. 6 Then these presidents and satraps assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live forever. 7 All the presidents of the kingdom, the prefects and the satraps, advisers and governors agreed that the king should issue a decree and publish the relevant interdict, that whoever, within thirty days, make a petition to any god or to any man except you, O king, is cast into the den of lions. 8 Now, O king, establish the interdict, and sign the writing, not to be changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which can not be revoked. 9 Due king Darius signed the writing and the decree. 10 When Daniel knew that the writing was signed, entered his house in his room upstairs, where they were open windows overlooking the side of Jerusalem, and three times a day was sinking to his knees and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as he did before. 11 Then these men assembled and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God. 12 Then they came to the king and asked him regarding the interdict: Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man who made a petition to any god or any man for thirty days, save of thee, O king , shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said:  The thing is true, as the law of the Medes and Persians, which can not be revoked. ... 14 Then the king heard the news, he was very distressed and on Daniel set his heart free him, and until sunset worked to save him. ... 16 Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast into the den of lions. But the king said unto Daniel, Thy God whom you serve continually, He will deliver you. 17 A stone was brought and laid upon the mouth of the den, and the king sealed with his ring and the ring of his nobles, so that nothing regarding whether Daniel changed: 18 Then the king went to his palace and spent the night fasting, and were not brought to their instruments of music, and fled his sleep. ... 20 And he came to the den to Daniel, he cried with a lamentable voice, and the king said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, would be the case that your God, whom you serve continually, able to deliver thee from the lions? 21 Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live forever. 22 My God sent his angel and shut the lions' mouths, and they do not hurt me, because I was found blameless before him, and also before thee, O king, have I committed any crime. 23 Then the king rejoiced, and sent out to Daniel's grave. So Daniel was taken from the pit, and no injury was found on him, because he had trusted in his God. 25 Then King Darius wrote to all peoples, nations and languages that dwell in all the earth: Peace be multiplied. 26 I make a decree that in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, enduring for ever: and his kingdom will never be destroyed, his dominionuntil the end. 27 He delivers and rescues and performs signs and wonders in heaven and on earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions. This 28 Daniel, therefore, prospered in the reign of Darius and the reign of Cyrus the Persian.
         Daniel's prayer, and 70 weeks, the coming of the Messiah. The Messiah who was referring to was Jesus. Dan 9: 27 2ao. "2 in the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of years that the Lord had spoken to the prophet Jeremiah, who had to endure the desolation of Jerusalem, even seventy years. 3 I therefore set my face unto the Lord God to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting and sackcloth and ashes. 4 I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed and said: O Lord, great and awesome God who keeps covenant and mercy to those who love him and obey his commands, 5 we have sinned and committed iniquity, have done wickedly, and have rebelled, from thy precepts and from thy judgments. 6 Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes and our fathers, and all the people of the earth. 7 To thee, O Lord, belongs righteousness, but unto us confusion of faces, as it is today and the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel, that are near and far, in all the land whither thou hast driven them, because of their transgressions they have committed against Thee 8  O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, our princes and our fathers, because we have sinned against You 9 The Lord our God belong mercies and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against Him, 10 and have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in his laws, which gave us through his servants the prophets. 11 Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, turning away, might not obey thy voice: therefore the curse and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God is poured upon us because we have sinned against Him and He confirmed his words against us and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem. 13 As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil upon us, yet we do not have prayer before the Lord our God, to turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth. 14 Therefore the Lord watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the righteous is the Lord our God in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice. 15 Yea, O Lord our God, who brought your people out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast gotten thee as it is today, we have sinned, we have done wickedly. 16 Lord, according to all thy righteousness, let the anger and Thy wrath from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem became and your people a reproach to all who are around us. 17 Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy servant, and his supplications, and upon thy sanctuary that is desolate make your face shine, for the love of the Lord. 18 Incline, O my God, your ears, and hear: open your eyes and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name, because it does not present our supplications before Thy face, spun in our righteousness, but for thy great mercies. 19 O Lord, hear, O Lord, forgive O Lord, listen and sets to work without delay, even for love of Thee, O my God, because Thy city and Thy people are called by thy name. 20 While I was speaking and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the face of the Lord, my God, the holy mountain of my God, 21 yes, while I was talking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I saw in my vision at the beginning, came flying swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening offering. 22 He instructed me and talked with me, saying, Daniel, came now to give thee wisdom and understanding. 23 At the beginning of your supplications the commandment came, and I am come to declare, for thou art greatly beloved; therefore considers the word and understand the vision. 24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city to finish transgression, to make an end of sins, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy. 25 Know and understand: From the issuing of the decree to restore and build Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks and sixty two weeks: the street and junk that will rebuild, but in times of trouble. 26 And after threescore and two weeks will cut the anointed, and be no more, and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary, and its end will come like a flood, and unto the end will be war desolations are determined . 27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the middle of the week will stop the sacrifice and offering and on the wing of abominations shall come one that maketh desolate, and even certain destruction, which will be "
           They saw how important prayer, intercession! Those people who did this in the past, saved many lives. Helped take the darkness, the darkness, thousands, thousands of lives that had no more solutions, more out for them. For sizes were their sins, their sins! Very true, my friends: we're only here today because there were those who intercede for us, even with their lives. In ch. 10 Daniel prayed and fasted for 21 days, God already on the 1st day he heard Daniel's prayer, but the angel who brought him the answer to Daniel came into the fight against the king of Persia, Prince of Darkness Satan. God sent the archangel Michael to the rescue. Daniel. was very weak, Miguel restored its strength again. Dan 10. "1 In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed to Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar a real word concerning a major conflict, and he understood the word and had understanding of the vision. 2 In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks. 3 I ate no pleasant, no meat or wine entered my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, until they met the full three weeks. 7 However, only I, Daniel, saw the vision: for the men who were with me saw it not, however, fell on them a great fear, and fled into hiding. 8 Therefore I was left alone to contemplate the big picture, and there remained no strength in me, is defaced the feature of my face, and I retained no strength alguma.9 However, I heard the voice of his words, and hearing the sound of their words, I fell into a deep sleep with my face. 10 And behold a hand touched me and made me stand up, trembling, on my knees and the palms of my hands. 11 And I said, O Daniel, man greatly beloved, understand the words I'll say, and get up on your feet, because now I am sent. When he had spoken this word, I put my feet trembling. 12 Then I said: Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and by thy words I came. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty one days and, behold Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

The faithfulness of Daniel, his persistence in prayer, he defeated the Prince of Persia. Why some prayers are not answered, is that the active forces of evil in this world, try to block the response to his petition. The devil and his demons can not be everywhere at once. How can God! They concentrate their efforts on a servant of the Lord until being expelled in the name of Jesus. Often, the blessings are lost. Because of the discouragement, distrust, disbelief, lack of faith. We want it all the time and why we are being defeated by an enemy already defeated.
Joel proposes the Sanctification of a fast, because the Lord's day is near. Joel.1. "13 Gird yourselves with sackcloth and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar, go in and spend the night in sackcloth, you ministers of my God, was cut out of the house of your God-offering and libation. 14 Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land, the house of the Lord your God, and cry unto the Lord. 15 Alas for the day! For the day of the Lord is near, and it comes as destruction from the Almighty. "
       Even so saith the Lord. Joel 2. "12 Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, with weeping and with mourning. 13 And rend your heart and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and of great kindness, and repents of evil. 14 Who knows if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him, in a grain offering and drink offering to the Lord your God? 15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: 16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and children of breasts: let the bridegroom from his chamber and the bride from her thalamus. And they claim the name of the Lord shall be saved. Joel. 2.  "27 And ye shall know that I'm in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. 32 And it shall be that whosoever shall call upon the Lord shall be saved: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord said, and among the remnant whom the LORD shall call. "
        They saw how good it is praying, fasting, and interceding for others, by anyone! For in doing so we will be pleasing to "God and the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ"  Nineveh was room for a fast. It all started when Jonah, not obeying the Lord, that He had made. In his flight he boarded a ship, the ship encountered a storm, Jonah blamed himself asked to be thrown overboard and the crew did. Jonah was swallowed by a big fish, presumed to be a whale. He repented and was thrown out of the belly. Jonas 1.12ao17.
           Jonah prayed and fasted, and did what God intends for him. Jn. 2. "1 Then Jonah prayed unto the Lord his God out of the fish's belly, 2, and said:" In my anguish I cried to the Lord, and He answered me from the belly of Sheol I cried, and thou hast heard my voice. 3 For cast me into the deep in the heart of the seas, and the currents swirled about me: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me. 4 And I said, I am cast out of thy sight I will look again toward thy holy temple? 5 The waters surrounded me to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head. 6 I went down to the foundations of the mountains, the earth was about me forever with its bars, but Thou, O Lord my God, thou hast brought up my life from the pit. 7 When fainted within me my soul, I remembered the Lord and came to Thee I pray in your holy temple. 8 Those who cling to the vanities depart own mercy. 9 But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving, I'll pay what I voted. To the Lord belongs salvation. 10 spake the Lord to fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the earth. "   Jonah preached repentance in Nineveh. The people repented, along with the king. God repented of what had promised to do, and did not. Jonah prayed to the Lord and the Lord's answer to Jonah. "Jn. 4. 3 "He rose, therefore, Jonas, and went to Nineveh, according to the word of the Lord. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey. 4 And Jonah began to enter the city, doing a day's journey, and cried, "Yet forty days and Nineveh shall be overthrown. 5 And the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast and put on sackcloth, from the greatest to the least of them. 6 When the news reached the king of Nineveh, he rose from his throne and, giving up his robe and covered himself with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. 7 And he made a proclamation and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Do not taste anything neither men nor animals, ox, or sheep, not eat, nor drink water: 8 But be covered with sackcloth, both man and beast, and cry mightily unto God: and let them turn every one from his evil way, and the violence that is in your hands. 9 Who knows if God will turn and repent, and depart from his fierce anger so that we perish not? 10 And God saw what they did, they turned from their evil way and God repented of the evil which he said they would, and did not. "
         The fasting prayer, repentance of the people came to the Lord.
Amen. Habakkuk. Zephaniah, Nahum, Obadiah, Zechariah also been men of prayer, fasting, and intercession. Another prophet Zechariah much used by God. He calls people to repentance, and speaks of fasting which does not please God. Zac. 1. 4 {...} not like your fathers, to whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts: Turn ye from your evil ways and your evil doings: but they hearkened not, nor hearken unto me, saith the Lord. 5 Your fathers, where are they? And the prophets, they live forever? 6 But my words and my statutes which I commanded the prophets, my servants, it not overtake your fathers? And they repented and said, "As the Lord of hosts has intention to treat us according to our ways, and according to our deeds, so He tratou.12  the angel of the Lord answered and said," The Lord of Almighty will not have mercy on Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, against which they had indignation these seventy years? 13 And the Lord said to the angel who talked with me with good words and comforting words. 14 The angel, then, that talked with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts: "With great zeal I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion 15 And I'm very angry with the nations at ease: for I was a little angry, but they furthered the disaster. 16 Therefore the Lord says, I turned now to Jerusalem with mercy shall be built in my house, saith the Lord of hosts, and the line shall be stretched over Jerusalem. 17 Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts: My cities shall yet overflow with prosperity, and the Lord shall yet comfort Zion and again choose Jerusalem.
          They fasted for 70 years, but not God. Will not help us to spend a lifetime praying, fasting, but not for being "God"! A large portion of the population, makes it praying, bending the knees, to images of "saints" of lies, who do not speak do not move, can not do anything. People make sacrifices and lead statues of various kinds, but they forget the real "God", which today is in the name of "Jesus Christ"
Listen to Zac, 7. 2 {...} Now the people of Bethel had sent Sharezer and Govern-melech and his men, to pray before the Lord, and to say to the three priests who were in the house of the Lord of hosts, and the prophets: I weep in the fifth month, and fasting, as I have done for so many years? 4 Then the word of the Lord of hosts came unto me, saying: 5 Speech to all the people of this land, and the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months during those seventy years, did the same to me that you fasted? 7 Are not these the words which the Lord uttered by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and prosperous along with its cities around her, and when the south and the plain were inhabited? ... 9 Thus saith the Lord of hosts: "Execute true judgment, and show kindness and compassion each to his brother, 10 and do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, nor the alien or the poor, and none of you devise your heart of evil against his brother. 11 But they refused to listen, and gave me a rebellious shoulder, and stopped their ears, lest they should hear. 12 Yea, they made his adamantine heart, not to hear the law, and the words which the Lord of hosts had sent by his Spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from Jehovah of exércitos.13 As I cried and they did not hear, so they called and I did not hear, saith the Lord of hosts;
Do not wait for this day! On the day that the Lord will no longer hear our cry, our prayer of supplication and fasting will not be seen and accepted as "God." This day, unfortunately will arrive today. We just do not know when it will come, but that will come as a terrible day overwhelming, destructive, bleak. Blessings promised. Thus saith the Lord return to Zion and dwell older children ..Behold, save and treat them ... I will ... strive ... Zac. 8. '2 Thus saith the Lord of hosts: I am zealous for Zion with great zeal, and with great indignation, I am caring for her. 3 Thus saith the Lord return to Zion and dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called the city of truth, and the mountain of the Lord of hosts the holy mountain. 4 Thus saith the Lord of hosts: Even in the streets of Jerusalem shall sit old men and women, each carrying his staff in his hand, because of his age. 5 And the streets are full of boys and girls, who will play them. 6 Thus saith the Lord of hosts: If it be marvelous in the eyes of the rest of the people in those days, it also be marvelous in my eyes? Says the Lord Almighty. 7 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Behold, I will save my people out of the land of the east and the west country; 8 and will bring them, and they dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: they shall be my people, and I will their God in truth and in justice. 9 Thus saith the Lord of hosts: Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words from the mouth of the prophets who were in the day that was laid the foundation of the house of the Lord of hosts, so that the temple might be built. 10 For before those days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast, neither was there peace to him that went out to him that came not because of the enemy, because I set all men every one against his next. 11 But now I will not deal with the rest of this people as in former days, saith the Lord of hosts: 12 because there will be the seed of peace, the vine will yield its fruit, and the land shall yield her increase, and the heavens shall give its dew, and will make the rest of this people to possess all these things. 13 And it shall come to pass, O house of Judah and house of Israel, that as ye were a curse among the nations, so will I save you, and be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong. 14 For thus saith the Lord of hosts: As I purposed to make you hurt, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the Lord of hosts, and not pity me, 15 so again to bring these days to do good to Jerusalem and the house of Judah not temais.16 these are the things you shall do: Speak truth each one with his neighbor, execute the judgments of truth and peace in your gates, 17 and none of you devise evil in your hearts against his neighbor, and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the Lord. "   Friends readers (as) we are entering now in the New Testament. Show everyone in short, upon Him who is our single and living way, called "Jesus Christ", below we pray, fast and intercede for our neighbors. We must continue all that Jesus did the prophets, priests, and kings did Jesus prayed and fasted for 40 days and 40 nights, he was hungry and was tempted by Satan. Jesus confirmed in prayer and fasting, today what we should continue doing. He left us the way forward. You are in Matthew. Matt 4. 1-11 "Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 And he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. March came, then the tempter said to him: If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4 But Jesus answered, It is written: Not by bread alone doth man live, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. 5 Then the devil took him to the holy city, set him on the pinnacle of the temple 6 and said to him: If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written: 'He will command his angels concerning you : and they shall bear thee up in their hands, that they strike your foot against a stone. 7 Jesus answered him: It is written: Do not tempt the Lord Thy God.8 Again the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory, 9 and said to him: All This will give you if, down and worship me. 10 Then he ordered him Jesus: Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shall you serve. 11 Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and attended him. "
        And Jesus also said this: when you pray, do not like the hypocrites.
Learn why in Matthew 6. To 5. "5 And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on street corners to be seen by men. Verily I say they have received their reward. 6 But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door, pray to thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. 7 And in praying do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles, because they think for their much speaking will be heard. 8 Be not therefore like to them: for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. 9 Pray then like this: Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name 10 Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as in heaven 11 the day our daily bread give us today , 12 and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors; 13 and let us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever, Amen] "
They saw how simple it is to serve "God, through His Son Jesus Christ." This power that Jesus has also been given to us today. But things do not happen just like "Jesus plan" is a lack of faith. Yes, we do not have the faith necessary to enforce the words of the Lord Jesus "
        Fasting. Matthew 9: "14 Then came to him the disciples of John, saying: Why do we and the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not? 15 Jesus answered them: man be sad to wedding guests, while the bridegroom is with them? The days will come, however, that will be taken away from them, then they will fast. 16 No one puts a patch of new cloth on an old garment by pulling away from because of the dress, and makes a worse hole.17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: otherwise it burst, the wine, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved. "
         The followers of Christ were fasting, and followed the Master "Jesus" where he was, but Jesus saw that the crowd was right in fast, tried to feed them. At that time there were only seven loaves and some fish, but Jesus "did" the second multiplication of loaves and fishes, feeding more than four thousand with seven loaves and few fish. This only happened because "Jesus" can do all things. He, "Jesus is God the Son, with all the powers given by the Father, God." This confirmation is Matthew. Matt 15. "32 Jesus called his disciples and said: I have compassion on the crowd because it's been three days they are with me, and have nothing to eat, and I would not send them away fasting, lest they faint on the road. 33 The disciples said to him: Whence should we have so many loaves in a desert, to fill so great a multitude? 34 He asked them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and some fish. 35 And he commanded the multitude to sit on the floor, 36 took the seven loaves and fishes, and gave thanks, broke them and gave to the disciples and the disciples to the multitude. 37 So all ate and were filled, and that remains over the pieces, seven baskets full. 38 And they that had eaten were four thousand men, besides women and children.
"
          Kind of demon, only with fasting and prayer. But to no avail if we are unbelievers, and of little faith. Math 17. "15 Lord, have mercy on my son, he is epileptic and suffers a lot, because often falls into the fire and often into the water. 16 I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure. 18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, who left the boy, who was healed from that hour. 21 [but this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.] "
         Jesus, before being betrayed and handed over to the idiots at the time, prayed in Gethesemane. Matt 26.36ao 44 - Mk.
14.32ao 42. Luc. 22, 39-46. Mat.26. "36 Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here while I go yonder and pray. 38 Then he said: My soul is sorrowful unto death: stay here and watch with me. 39 And he went forward a little, fell on his face and prayed, My Father, if possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will but as Thou wilt. 40 Turning to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter: So could you not watch with me one hour? 41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is weak. 42 Retiring again, prayed, My Father, if this cup may not pass unless I drink it, let it be your will. 43 And again he came and found them sleeping, because their eyes were heavy. 44 And leaving them again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. 45 Then he returned to the disciples and said to them, sleeping and resting. Behold the hour, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. 46 Arise, let us behold it is come one who betrays me. "  It`s friends, (as) unfortunately came the day of betrayal, and he was
handed over to scoff, to suffer and suffer for all mankind, so that the world might be saved and set free from slavery and bondage of sin. Christ before fasting was baptized by the Holy Spirit.
Luke. 4."1 And Jesus, full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness 2 during forty days, tempted by the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he was hungry. Christ took his disciples to fast. The disciples of John, fasted often. Luke. 5. They said to him: the disciples of John fast often and make prayers, and also the Pharisees, but yours eat and drink. 34 Jesus answered them: Can you perhaps make the wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them? 35 days will come, however, that will be taken away from them, in those days, yes they will fast. "
         Notice that in Matthew, there was also this same passage, but spelled differently. Fasting in the Early Church: Paul was blind for three days, was converted, prayed and fasted: At 9: 25 1your: To give you an idea of who was Paul! He was the greatest persecutor of Christians, but "Jesus" not seen as a bad person. Jesus broke "Paul", to be his follower, and suffer in the name of Jesus Christ, and so it happened. See how it all happened! Here Paul was still called "Saul", then changed its name to Paul, with Barnabas. {....} 1 But Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest 2 and asked him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, so that if he found any the Way, whether men or women, bring them bound to Jerusalem.3 But he went and approaching Damascus, suddenly a bright light surrounded the sky, 4 and he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him: Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? 5 He asked, "Who are you, Lord? And the Lord said I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting, 6 but get up and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. 8 Saul got up from the earth, and opening his eyes, he saw nothing, and they led him by the hand and led him into Damascus. 9 And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank. 10 Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias and told him the Lord in a vision, Ananias And he said, Here am I, Lord. 11 Lord commanded him: Arise, go to the street called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul of Tarsus, for behold he is praying, 12 and saw a man named Ananias come in and lay his hands so that sight. 13 Then Ananias answered, Lord, have heard from many about this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem: 14 And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call upon Thy name.15 He said, however, the Lord: Go, for he is a chosen vessel unto Me, to bear my name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel, 16 because I'll show you how much he must suffer for My name. ... From this moment on, Paul, Saul has changed completely, and was one of the greatest preachers in the name of Jesus to every creature, and eleven letters Paul wrote to various people. .... 17 Ananias departed and entered the house, and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the way as thou camest, hath sent me to regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit. 18 immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and his sight, then got up and was baptized. Paulo tracker has become, he became the persecuted to death. ... 21 All his hearers were amazed and said, Is not this the man who persecuted in Jerusalem those who called that name, and he had come here, to bring them bound unto the chief priests? 23 After many days, the Jews conspired together to kill him. 24 But their plot became known to Saul. And they watched the gates day and night to take his life, 25 but his disciples took him by night, and let him down by the wall in a basket.}
         Fasting Cornelius was heard by the Lord: Acts 10: 1. "A man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of what was called the Italian, two devout and fearing God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people and always prayed to God, 3 about the ninth hour of the day he clearly saw in a vision an angel of God, who addressed to him and said, Cornelius! 4 He, fastening his eyes and fear, said: What is it, Lord? The angel replied, "Your prayers and your alms have ascended as a memorial before God By Cornelius was no salvation to the nations. Peter prays to God in prison, which sends an angel to him and frees him from prison. Acts 12.  "5 So Peter was kept in prison, but the church prayed earnestly to God for him. 6 And when Herod would have brought him, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains and the keepers before the door kept the prison. 7 And behold, an angel of the Lord, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, woke him, saying, Arise up quickly. And there fell from his hands the strings. "   Paul going to Lydia's house on the way ... Acts 16; 14ao 19. Paul's prayer in the prison. Acts 16; 25.26.  Paul prayed twice, and the second time, he was already arrested: Here is the 1st time in At.16. 16 to 16 {...} It happened when we went to the place of prayer, we came to meet a girl who had a spirit of divination, and, guessing, gave great profit to their masters. 17 She followed Paul and us cried out, saying they are servants of Almighty God that these men who proclaim a way of salvation. 18 And this did she many days. But Paul being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of it. And at the same time left. 19 But when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace before the magistrates .... Here is the 2nd prayer Paul had in prison: he was beaten, humiliated, all for love the Savior "Jesus" 23 And when he had given them many blows, they threw them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely. 24 He then having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison and their feet in the trunk. 25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners heard them. 26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake that have been shaken the foundations of the prison, and immediately opened all the doors and were released from all fetters. ... But Paul's mission was just beginning! After his release, he contributed to the salvation of the jailer and his family. See ..... 27 The jailer, agreeing and seeing the prison doors open, drew his sword and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had escaped. 28 But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm, we are all here. 29 And he called for lights and sprang in, and trembling, fell down before Paul and Silas 30 and brought them out and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus and be saved, and thy house. 32 And they spake the word of God, and all who were in his house. 33 Taking him along the same hour of the night and washed their wounds, and was baptized, he and all his family. 34 And he brought them up to his house, and put the table and was delighted with all his house, having believed in God.}
           In the house of Titus right, doing the Lord's work. Acts 18: 7,8,11; prayer of Paul to the Ephesians. Acts 20, 27, & Eph. 3: 14-21. It says in At.18. "7 And he went out, came home from a God-fearing man, named Titus Justus, whose house was next door to the synagogue. 8 Crispus, the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house, and many of the Corinthians hearing believed and were baptized. 9 And at night the Lord said to Paul in a vision, Be not afraid, but speak and hold not thy peace with you because I'm 10 and nobody involved for hurting you, I have much people in this city. 11 And was there a year and six months, teaching among them the word of God. "Paul prayed to the Lord, and people create the words spoken by him, Paul.  It says in Acts. 20. "31 Therefore watch, remembering that for three years I ceased not night and day with tears to admonish every one of you. 32 Now therefore, I commend you to God and the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified. 35 In everything I gave the example that worked well, it must help the weak, remembering the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said: Thing is more blessed to give than to receive. 36 Having said thus, he knelt down and prayed with them all. "   When we doubled our knee, sure we are praying to "God" says in Ephesians. 3. "14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that, according to the riches of his glory, grant you that ye may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in man interior; 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith, so that, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may understand with all saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and 19 known the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that ye may be filled to the fullness of God. 20 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or imagine, according to the power that worketh in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen "
        When practicing the act of prayer, we are putting ourselves in harmony with the Father, God, through His Son Jesus Christ. " Plus, we're knocking up and destroying the hidden forces of the enemy of "God, the devil, or whatever name you give it. Paul when he prayed in Jerusalem. Acts 22:17 to 22: Paul fasted for 14 days on the ship ... "17 It happened that I had returned to Jerusalem, while praying in the temple, I found myself in a trance, 18 And saw him saying to me: Make haste and go quickly out of Jerusalem: they will not receive thy testimony concerning me. 19 I said, Lord, they know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue those who believed in you, and 20 when they spilled the blood of thy martyr Stephen, I was also present, and consenting unto his death, and guarding the cloaks of those killed him. 21 He said to me: Go, for I will send you away to gentios.22 But listening to him until this word, but then raised his voice, saying, "Take this man in the world, why not fit to live."
Paul interceded in prayer and fasting for the next, even if they do not believe in Paul. It says in Acts. 27. 9 When {...} much time and has become dangerous to navigation, because it had already spent fasting, Paul admonished them, 10 saying: Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with injury and much damage not only and great loss not only of the cargo and ship, but also of our lives. 11 But the centurion believed the pilot and owner of the ship than to what Paul said. 21 When they had been long without food, Paul put himself standing in their midst and said, Sirs, ye should have listened to myself and not have set sail from Crete, this injury and loss. 22 And now I exhort you to cheer up, because there is loss of life among you, but of the ship. 23 For me this night an angel of God who I am and whom I serve, 25 Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe in God that it will be just as I was told. ... Prayer and fasting for Paul, helped to save more than two hundred people .... While the day was 33, Paul besought them all to take some food, saying, "Today is the fourteenth day that you wait and continue fasting, having taken nothing. 34 I beseech you therefore that you eat something, because this is for your safety, for not a hair from the head of any of you. 35 And having said this, he took bread, gave thanks to God in the presence of all and broke it and began to eat. 36 Then they all cheered up, and they also took food. We were 37th overall in the ship two hundred and seventy six souls.
          Paul prays to the Romans.
Rom. 1.8,10. "8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, because the world is announced in your faith. 9 For God, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, is my witness, how unceasingly I make mention of you, 10 always in my prayers asking that ultimately the will of God, if I offer a good opportunity to go to you. 11 For I long to see you, to convey to you some spiritual gift, so that ye may be established, 12 it is, that I with you may be comforted by the mutual faith in you, you and me. 13 And I want you to be ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you (but so far have been prevented), to have some fruit among you, as well as among other Gentiles. "

The Armor of God by prayer. Eph 6:10 ao18: Before this prayer, Paul had already said so in Efésios. 1.6. "16 do not cease giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers," So make your prayer to the Lord Ef.6. "11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may stand against the wiles of the devil, because 12 is not against flesh and blood we wrestle, but against principalities, against powers, the rulers of the world account this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace, 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you can quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18 with all prayer and supplication praying at all times in the Spirit, for the same purpose, watching with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints, 19 and for me, that I be given the floor, open my mouth, with boldness, make known the mystery of the gospel, "
      If every knee bend to the Lord, surely you are praying. Filip. 2. "10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father" Be anxious for nothing some. Rejoice in the Lord: Phil. 4. "4 Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say, Rejoice. 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all men. The Lord is near. 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in all your requests be made known to God by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, 7 and the peace of God which passes all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any virtue and if there be any praise, think on these things. 9 Whatever you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, do: and the God of peace will be with you. "Paul prays for the Colossians. Col.1. "3 We give thanks to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, 4 Since we heard of your faith in Jesus Christ and the love you have all the saints, 5 because of the hope laid up for you in heaven, which before you heard the word of truth of the gospel, "
        Exhortation to prayer and wisdom. Col. 4. "You have a Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal, knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven. 2 Continue in prayer, watching in it with thanksgiving, 3 while also praying for us, that God may open a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am imprisoned, "Continue in prayer , being watchful and thankful. 1 Thes 3. "9 For what thanks can we render to God for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy for your sakes before our God, 10 praying incessantly, night and day, so we can see your face and overcome what is lacking in your faith?
11 Now the God and Father himself and our Lord Jesus in our way unto you, 12 and the Lord make you increase and abound in love toward each other and for all, as ours does for you: 13 for you confirm the hearts, so that may be blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints. "
          Pray without ceasing. 1Tess. 5.
"16 Rejoice evermore. 17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. "   We pray for all men 1 Tim. 2. "1 I exhort therefore, first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings for all men, 2 for kings and all those in authority, we have a peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and pleases God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and reach full knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 8 I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

Prayer of Paul to Philemon. Fil. 1. 3 Thank you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 4 I always thank my God, remembering you in my prayers, 5 Hearing of thy love and faith that you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints, 6 that the fellowship of thy faith may become effective, in full knowledge of all the good in us toward Christ. Not pretty useless if you do not pray control your tongue. No man can tame his tongue.Tg. 3. "5 Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. Behold how much wood a little fire kindles. 6 And the tongue is a fire, yes, the language, which world of iniquity, placed among our members, defiles the whole body, and fire the course of nature, being set on fire by hell. 7 For every kind of beast and bird, both reptiles and animals of the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: 8 But the tongue can no man tame. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. 9 With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men made in the likeness of God. 10 From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. Ought not, my brethren, be so. "
         It says so in Tg.5. "13 Is any among you afflicted? Pray. Is anyone happy? Sing praises.14 Is any sick among you? Call the church elders, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick and the Lord shall raise him up, and if he have committed sins, you will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other, and be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. 17 Elijah was a man of like passions with us, and prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months did not rain on the earth. 18 And he prayed again and the heaven gave rain and the earth produced its fruit. "   It says in 1 Peter. 3. "10 For he that will love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and your lips from speaking guile: 11 Let him eschew evil and do good, seek peace and follow it a. 12 For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.13 Now who is he that will harm you, if you are zealous of good? "
         Efficacy of Prayer. 1 Jn. 5. "14 And this is the confidence we have in him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have achieved things that you have requested. 20 And we know that the Son of God came and gave us understanding to know him that is true, and we are in Him who is true, that is in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. "There is only one to whom we pray! It's useless to look elsewhere, other god than the One True "God, today the name of Jesus Christ." Our prayer should always be addressed to "God," Whatever your problem. Try to pray in the Spirit. See what it says in Judas.1. "20 But, beloved, building yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ for eternal life. 22 And have mercy on those who are in doubt, 23 and save some, by snatching them from the fire, and some have mercy with fear, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. 24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glory without blemish in exceeding joy, 25 to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and power, before allcenturies, and now and forever. Amen "
         The Bible is very clear. She shows us how we should be doing, and acting. Gives us the way, the direction to take forever, you just read, listen, look and practice. All these blessings, reported here happened because all they were faithful, obedient, God-fearing. They prayed, fasted yes. Even if you do not find written, they did so. Believe. Amen Everything here is true. What we have to do is trust, believe, not doubt, always practicing our faith. God is faithful always, is that we're not faithful to Him Never stop praying, fasting, watching, for prayer and fasting, it is very important always, makes a difference in this world who is the enemy. Remember what kind of demon, only with fasting and prayer. If you do not do this or try to cast out demons, they will be humiliated by the enemy, Satan. Jesus, prayed and fasted for us all, the devil did not win Christ. Where some who tried to use the Lord's name in vain, took a beating from Satan. And much more that you find in the word of the Lord. Amen. The power of prayer and fasting has been since the beginning of mankind: all that separated those chosen to serve him, but did it, Moses prayed and fasted for forty days and forty nights. Elijah also fasted for forty days, and not just those that were fasted! In the New Testament we have "Jesus Christ" and also his apostles prayed and fasted. The act of prayer and fasting, will not make you sick
It says in 1 Peter.
It's useless to look elsewhere, other god than the One True "God, today the name of Jesus Christ." Our prayer should always be addressed to "God"
            Whatever your problem.
All these blessings, reported here happened, why they were all faithful, obedient, God-fearing. They prayed, fasted yes. Even if you
not find written, they did so.
           The act of prayer and fasting, will not make you sick, a feeble person. Rather, you'll become stronger spiritually. There are few who can do a long fast! Today I believe that no human being able to pray and fast for forty days and nights. First, you do not need to do more along this fast! But a fast that your body can stand yes, this greater sacrifice, "Jesus" has done for us all. But He wants us to continue to fast and pray so. Pray always. Fasting, in moderation, not a sacrifice! For "Jesus" has done us all a favor. Prayer and fasting on behalf of others like the "God" who will respond through the Son "Jesus" in the form of blessings that is most important. Never do this thinking for their own benefit! He, Jesus, did nothing thinking about the reward that the "Father" would give him. He, Jesus came not to be served but to serve. Think about it. The next has to be first, because the reward from the Lord, no price you can afford. This theme was based on the work of author Gordon Lindsay, called Prayer & fasting, and updated by José Carlos Ribeiro: State PIB Campo Grande MS

Sabe onde! Debaixo de seus pés. Preciso falar mais alguma coisa! Então ore, sempre.

The Power of
 prayer makes a big difference in the lives of those who practice it. Prayer is a Divine gift. "Jesus" did it constantly: He has a son of man, but he was a son of "God" prayed without the company of His disciples, He went away and pray. Even at the time of greatest anguish, he prayed. "Jesus" knew he would be betrayed, and that would be handed over to suffer and suffer for all mankind.
"Jesus" was the greatest living sacrifice for the sake of "Father God" and all mankind. He did not need to go through all that suffering and never sinned! "Jesus" prayed for you, for me, for all of us without merit, so why not do the same thing! Praying for others, for our greatest enemy, and our brothers. And more: He, too, "fasted" for all of us, beingforty days without eating or drinking anything. And then he was tempted by the devil, or Satan, but do not be intimidated! He put Satan in his place. Do you know where! Under his feet. I need to say more! Then pray, always.

Parte I                   Conhecendo  melhor a Bíblia, e a palavra de Deus.
