Comentário da Bíblia Sagrada em Inglês

The Holy Bible:                                                                                                                                   General Comments & Conclusion:
Dear readers (a), this is more a work which the Lord gave me, that all those who wish to learn more about the Holy Bible. It all starts in Genesis, where everything starts: in Chapter 1, God shows us how it all began, how it was created, how came the first sin in the world, at the mouth of the serpent. And who took the blame for this sin was not Adam and Eve They were expelled from paradise: there's the first physical death, caused by Cain who killed his brother Abel. In Genesis, also speaks of Noah and the building of the ark before God sent the Flood upon the earth, which lasted forty days and forty nights: and one hundred and fifty days the water to fully download. Also in Genesis, talked about Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by God because of their sins and their whoredom, and Lot's wife who became a pillar of salt for disobeying an order given by the angel of God. The Lord separates Abraham and tells him to get away from his family, and make him a great nation. God commands Abraham to make a living sacrifice his son Isaac, which was not completed because God sent a lamb to the place of Isaac. Abraham is confirmed as the father of many people: and Isaac and Rebekah married and has two sons, Esau and Jacob, to become two great nations. Esau lost his birthright to Jacob He rejected and despised his birthright. Jacob had twelve sons, and the best known was Joseph who was hated and envied by some of his brothers and sold to merchants, ending up in Egypt. Joseph was so blessed by God that all those who prospered were close to him. Joseph interpreted Pharaoh's dream, where he said that in all the land there would be seven years of plenty and seven of drought and famine, and that only in Egypt, there would be food. Everyone would have to go down to Egypt in search of food. And his brothers had to go to Egypt to buy food, Joseph recognized his brothers, and instead of hate them, loved him even more, and brought his entire family to live in Egypt, for there would be many more years of famine and drought. Joseph did what pleases God. He released love and forgiveness instead of hate: He had reasons for this. Joseph showed us all that is possible to love and forgive yes, without hate, hurt or resentment. Even after the death of his father, he left to take care of his brothers: He did it, because we can not do the same! The story of Joseph I consider one of the most beautiful in the Bible, because it involves more than what the world still practice today. Jealousy, lying, greed, greed, hatred, resentment, and revenge. Yes: his brothers were well with Joseph But they did not know that "God" was with Joseph, and where Joseph was, went, went, thrived.
In Exodus, we have God prepared Moses to take his people out of Egypt after four hundred and thirty years of bondage, God sent eleven plagues in Egypt, to see if Pharaoh's heart softened. Moses crossing the Red Sea in safety to his people, sharing sas water for his people to cross safely. And all of Pharaoh's army is swallowed by the waters of the Red Sea that close again. Even Pharaoh died on this day. He also had the death of the firstborn, including those of the royal line of Egypt. "God" sanctified the firstborn of his people, and guide his people in the desert on their way to freedom. Through Moses, the bitter waters are sweet, and God, it still runs out of water, nor food, meat, and daily bread called manna coming from heaven sent by God. "God" speaks to Moses on Mount Sinai, the holy mountain, and talks about the Ten Commandments to Moses, who would have to speak and to meet his people. Moses goes to God, all the laws, and sends an angel to guide and protect the Jewish people in the desert. And this time when they remained in the wilderness, "God" spoke to Moses about the things that should be made by Moses and his people meet. Exodus also shows gossip, rebellion, disobedience and stubbornness of its people. They make a golden calf and this calf worship in place of "God" true, and are punished by "God" and Moses. But Moses intercedes for his people, and risks his life for them, for love, and take seriously what God told him to do. Moses broke the tables of the Ten Commandments, "God," writes another. Moses speaks to "God" face to face, although we can not ever see his face. For no one has ever seen and will see his face. The book of Leviticus is the book of laws, statutes and commandments of God. In Numbers, shows the names and the amount of God's people and their tribes. In Numbers also shows the murmuring of the Israelites in the desert, sinning against God and Moses: Moses was the mouth of God, and Aaron was the mouth of the people. And God cursed his people, because of unbelief, murmuring, and rebellion. God had promised to his people, a land flowing with milk and honey, but they did not have the patience to wait things in God's time, and not man. Twelve men spies, one from each tribe of Israel were sent to spy out the land, and bring good news: only two men spies returned with good news. Joshua and Caleb were the only ones who bring good news. God became angry with his people, such was their disobedience; happened, only those who had less than twenty years along with Joshua and Caleb were able to come and inherit the promised land. Even Moses and Aaron could enter this land. All that generation accursed by God wandered in the wilderness for forty years, and each day was worth a year. In Numbers, is also the story of Balaam who was a man of God, and that he had disobeyed an order from the Lord and the angel of the Lord brought to end his life. But Balaam's donkey saw the angel with a sword in hand, ready to kill his master, the donkey turned aside the usual way on three occasions. And every time I did this, was beaten by his master, came a moment when God put words into the mouth of the ass. It was then discovered that Balaam why his ass going astray on three occasions. In Numbers is also the celebration of Easter in the desert of Sinai. "God" means seventy elders to help Moses with his people. It also has the repetition of several laws, the duties of the priests and Levites. In many events the act of Moses striking the rock with violence, and that did not please "God", which should just touch it.
In Deuteronomy,  God confirmed to Moses, who passes to his people, the people of Israel, all the laws, commandments, statutes and judgments, and exori his people to obey the laws of "God." In chapters 11 and 28, "God" of his people the right to choose, blessings or curses. Good and evil, God also speaks about the punishment of false prophets and idolaters. "God" also speaks of tithes and offerings, and the first fruits of the earth. In Deuteronomy also speaks of the new covenant "God" did to his people, chap. 29. In cap.30, mercy to the repentant. Chapter 31, Moses appoints Joshua his successor: the cap. 32 shows the last song of Moses "God". Chapter 33, the majesty of "God," the blessings of the tribes of Israel. In ch. 34, Moses ascends Mount Nebo, and see all the promised land and then die, because he could not pass away: and Moses dies at one hundred and twenty years, and "God" does not allow anyone to find the place where Moses was buried up the present day. Even in Egypt, Moses celebrated his first Easter and true to his people, celebrating the liberation of his people. Passover means liberation not only a common party with the famous Easter eggs.
The book of Joshua has as its main theme, the entry of the children of Israel into the promised land. God did not allow the entry of Moses, ending his life to one hundred and twenty years: he could not go any further! For the next step was to cross the Jordan into the land of promise. The same thing happened when the children of Israel crossed the Jordan River on dry ground, for it was full time, and the river overflowed, and they the children of Israel had with them the ark of God, which was the most sacred and important to God . No one could reach out and touch the ark! Such is the importance of this ark. We also have the twelve stones taken from the bed of the river Jordan: They represented the twelve tribes of Israel. These stones also served to show future generations what the stones represented. When someone asked, was a sign that "God" was all the time with them, even when they crossed the Jordan on dry ground, as did Moses crossing the Red Sea, dividing its waters for all people of Israel to pass. In ch. 5, we have the circumcision of all the children of Israel, and the celebration of Easter, and the appearance of the angel to Joshua as the promised land. In ch. 7, the Israelites were defeated by the sin of Achan. Sin, transgression, the Anathema of Achan was discovered, and he paid with his life, and Israel returned to win again.
In Joshua we have a very important event, made with the permission of God, Joshua stopped the sun and moon, for almost a day until all enemies were defeated. All enemies have been handed over to the children of Israel in God's time. The lands were distributed to each family of Israel, and Caleb also received their share promised by "God." In ch. 18, is lifted up the tabernacle at Shiloh, and the inheritance of Benjamin is shared. In cap.20 is established cities of refuge, and the cities of the tribe of Levi. Chapter 22: Joshua blesses and sends them to their homes the two half tribes, and build the altar of testimony. In ch. 23, Joshua encourages the people to observe and obey the laws and commandments of the "Lord." Chapter 24, Joshua back to memory all his people that "God" did for him, Joshua. Joshua makes a new covenant, a treaty with his people, a stone was erected as a testimony to show his people, that they lied against "God." Joshua dies at the age of one hundred and ten years. Joshua died, there still remained the elders of Israel, the elders die, the children of Israel returned to practice the same mistakes and sins, and were punished severely by God.
Judges: The book of Judges shows the history of those who were chosen to deliver the children of Israel from the hands of enemies when they repented and cried out to God. Even in the first two chapters is shown reproof of the angel of the Lord, and the punishment of the children of Israel, because of their disobedience against "God." From caps.3, the punishment is already shown to the children of Israel, and delivered them into the hands of enemies of the Israelites. "God" allowed his people the children of Israel were delivered to other kings, and they again become captives again, because of his stubbornness, disobedience and rebellion. At this time, there were no prophets in Israel, and "God" decided to raise judges in Israel, to judge his people, the children of Israel. The best known were: Othniel, Eudes, Judge Shamgar Deborah and Barak also judged Israel, and also had Gideon, who with three hundred men chosen by "God", won an army of thousands with only three hundred chosen. He also had Jephthah, brave man, but the son of a whore, that for "God" did not prejudice, partiality: that in caps. 11 and 12. Note When the children of Israel had a judge, they were obedient, but these judges enough to die for them to redo it all wrong again. The children of Israel rested for many years while living in obedience.
The Judge and judge best known was "Samson". His story is confirmed in caps. 13 to 17. Samson was the son of Manoa, and he was chosen and protected from "God" and man was a Nazarite, clean, and on his head could not pass a razor, his hair could not be cut. Samson could not tell anyone where it came from his strength, but he fell in love with a prostitute and an enemy of Israel. She was a Philistine, your name, Delilah, and it was beautiful and wanted by the kings of other palaces. More Samson loved a lot, about to fall into a trap set for her at the behest of other kings, for Samson was unbeatable, and this bothered these kings, who could not beat him. Delilah Samson revealed where it came from his strength, and she is taking advantage of the nap Samson razor in your head. Samson lost his strength, his eyes blinded, and went on to be mistreated, humiliated, becoming the court jester.  But Samson was a purpose of "God", he asked God to restore his strength only for a few minutes for him to avenge the enemies of the Israelites, who were all there at that party. And Samson was exciting, "God" allowed Samson revenge. His forces have been restored and a supreme effort he managed to knock down the pillars that held up the temple, killing all: Israel and settled down for years, and other judges came from, but are not mentioned in this book. Samson also died along with the enemies of the Israelites.
The book of Ruth has as main objective to show the love of Ruth and its delivery on behalf of his mother who did not want to abandon it when she was widowed. The story of Ruth involves "love unfeigned," and had to "God" a very important meaning, and Ruth was the grandmother of David, and of generations to a "Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world."
The books of Samuel are two prophetic books of Samuel was the first son of Hannah who was barren, but made a connection with God, and had his request granted. Ana had promised in his prayer as follows: if it were answered his prayer, this son would serve the Lord in the priest's house at the time. This is what happened: but God has not forgotten Anna, and gave him five more children (as). Samuel became a prophet in Israel during his lifetime, and was a great prophet, and also can not confirm his sons as governors or judges in Israel, because they are sinners, not following the path of the father "Samuel." And Samuel had an important and difficult mission in Israel to speak and show the truth. Samuel had a mission to anoint two kings in Israel, Saul and David Saul was to be a great king, but he was stubborn and impatient. This caused him to lose his reign, which was ripped, stripped and given to David. In ch. 16, "God" sends Samuel to anoint David king of Israel. And the spirit of the Lord left Saul, who became tormented by evil spirits. In ch. 17, David knows the history of "Goliath", a giant who humiliated the people of Israel. David decided to face this giant we all feared, for he was almost invincible, but David was a purpose of "God", and with a sling and some stones, he faced and defeated the giant with a stone on the forehead, knocking him down and then took off his head and took it to Jerusalem. In 1 Samuel also speaks of the true love of David and Jonathan son of Saul. They were not gay, there was a sincerity, loyalty, faithfulness, pure love and respect for each other, a union that appealed to "God." Saul tries to kill David several times, but not their intent, because David had the protection of 'God'. David marries Saul's daughter, Michal in 1 Samuel, also has a pact of protection with Jonathan David. The persecutions of Saul against David continues, even with the death of Samuel, Saul continued disobeying "God". In 1 Samuel also shows the struggles and victories of David, and ends with the death of Saul. In 2 Samuel, begins with the death of him who brought the news of the death of Saul, because David did not admit that no one could touch the anointed one "God." David is crowned king of all Israel: and the ark of "God is taken to Jerusalem, but David feared for his life. For only the Levites of the tribe of Levi could load and play in the ark. This chap. 2 Samuel 6: chap. 12, the prophet Nathan rebukes "David" who almost lost his life because of the tremendous sin he committed, sin, adultery, and by killing the husband of Bate Seba. David was severely punished by God, but there was repentance in David, the son she had with the sinner, died, but after the punishment, God blessed their relationship. It was Solomon was anointed king by David to fourteen years. In ch. 13, speaks of the love of Amnon for Tamar, his sister who was a virgin, and Amnon is killed by Absalom, Absalom is killed by Joab, suspended from a tree. David makes a song of thanksgiving, which became the 18th Psalm: chap. 23 shows the last words of David, and also shows the names of thirty-seven David was brave.
In ch. 24, David and the Israelites were punished by "God" because of an act of disobedience of David, who had to count, number the people of Israel. The difference was that David admitted his mistakes and repented, it made a difference to 'God' that went like this: David is the man after the heart of "God" you know why? David consulted God before everything else, battle, when failed, admits his mistakes and not put blame on others as our politicians make the most chutzpah. Thus ended the book of Samuel with the punishment of David for numbering his people sent. For "God" his people is uncountable.
The Book of Kings, as are also two books of Samuel. Early on we are still King David in his last days and years of reign, but before he died, and anointed Solomon king of Israel, with only fourteen years old. For your brother Adonijah brought to take his kingdom. And Solomon had a dream, and asked God for understanding, wisdom and a discerning heart to govern the fair people of Israel. But God knows all and sees all responded to the request of Solomon, and giving him more than he had requested. He gave him also all kinds of wealth, cattle farms and, without him asking. Solomon was a great king until he has strayed from the path of God. He had many wives wives and concubines, and this caused him to lose, going to worship the gods of falsehood and off the path of the Lord. God punished them severely, but did not take away anything that had given him. Only his kingdom was taken away and given to his enemy, dying Solomon, kings were chosen, but the number of kings who did everything bad, beat the good kings. When this happened, God delivered into enemy hands. But there was a promise made to David, who would not miss a lamp, a man, a man for the throne of the house of David. And so it was in two books of Kings, good and bad kings, and this provoked the wrath of God against his people, the children of Israel who were living in exile, captive in Babylon, Egypt, Assyria and other Israel's enemies.
The two books of Chronicles is like registration books: there is recorded the genealogy of Adam and the twelve tribes of Israel, including the kings of Israel. Here we report the good and bad deeds of all kings, all that was done for them, here are two books in the Chronicles.
Ezra & Nehemiah, at the time of King Cyrus, Darius and Artaxerxes, had the important task of rebuilding the temple and the walls of Jericho to Jerusalem with the permission of these kings, who were touched by God. And the children of Israel who were captives in various places, returned to help rebuild, but in the early enemies of God's people managed to paralyze the work. But they were in King Darius and King Cyrus the power of God in them, and the works were resumed and completed, including those who were opposed to rebuilding. The children of Israel prayed and fasted and repented of their sins: as Nehemiah was responsible for the rebuilding work. But there were those who were opposed to the plans of Nehemiah: everything has been rebuilt, and the children of Israel who were captives in various places of the earth again, and took an oath to take from among them, all foreigners who lived with their children mixed of Israel. They had been married to the enemies of Israel, which was not pleasing to God, only then had the blessing of God again.
Esther: The Book of Esther is a beautiful story of love of God and faithfulness to his people. Esther was a Jew, and together with her cousin Mordecai Mordecay or depending on the version of the Bible, Esther put on the list of competitors to be the new queen in place of Queen Vashti, who was stripped of the rank of queen, for having disobeyed the orders of King Ahasuerus not attending the party hosted by the king, and making your private party. Esther was chosen the new queen. She risked to save her people from death, dying because of a stingy man, greedy and a liar named Haman who wanted the end of the Jewish people. Haman had not only the loyalty and love of his people with Esther: Esther could lose your life if the king did not extend his royal scepter to her. But the king loved Esther too, and held out his scepter. Esther made a party and invited the king and Haman came to this party, and there at some point, she revealed to the king who was Jewish, and told about Haman, and all he had done against the king and against the Jewish people. Haman was hanged with his family, and the king allowed the Jewish people to defend their opponents. The reign of King Ahasuerus and Mordecai Mordecay prospered and was raised in the kingdom, being second only to the king.
Job: Who was Job! He was one of the greatest examples of faithfulness, loyalty, honesty and fairness. Job was a faithful man and feared God, Satan was given the task of trying to Job in several ways, but in his life, he could not play. Job lost everything: their health, their wealth, their family and friends, but Satan's purpose has not been successful in Job cursed not, do not murmur or sinned against God. He cursed himself, but attributed her suffering to God. At the end of the book of Job, God speaks to him and tells him to intercede for his three friends, and restores life, health and everything that Job had lost. And her life was multiplied: he had more sons and another seventy years saw more, and everything restored by God. Job knew how to wait in God's time, never in the time of man. Despite all the past suffering of Job, he was not against "God" at any time: it showed that it is possible to suffer and suffer for the sake of "God"
Psalms, the Book of Psalms is a very special book: being a book that we can to profit in all areas of our lives. The key: it is our spiritual life: for if we have the peace of mind, we have everything to God. The book of Psalms can be used for daily prayers, meditations and spiritual reflections, and also to worship the true God. In Psalms King David prayed, meditated, and to ask God every time he went to battle, battle, if he could go, and if God would be with him. And God answered David spiritually. What's more, the 150 Psalms in the Bible, 72, were written by David. Proverbs: Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and Song were written by King Solomon. Proverbs is a book of wisdom, where each chapter and verse, you can use in your everyday life. Draw lessons for their spiritual life, physical, and emotional, and savor the wisdom of Solomon. Ecclesiastes, King Solomon came to the conclusion that what was achieved under the sun is vanity, boredom and weariness. King Solomon had everything in his life, wealth, many women, and plenty of everything. But he saw nothing of all that he had won, would not give him the key, which is peace. He also saw that all those things, just bring him a headache, worry, bickering, and that after his death would turn into contention. Solomon saw that material goods were not the most important: He saw that real peace was not in goods, but in God. For He is the owner of all things, and had given him great riches. Solomon saw that there is a time for everything, but in God's time, never in human time. Song: a poetic book is dedicated to his beloved, which had its importance to God.
Isaiah and other prophetic book. Isaiah was more of a major prophets of God, who offered to do the Lord's work. And all Israel to take the message of the prophecies, and also alert. Isaiah was a man of unclean lips, so sinful, but God through an angel, purified. The prophecies were known more about the coming of the Messiah, the Savior, the Prince of Peace, the Wonderful Counselor, the Everlasting Father, "Jesus Christ". Isaiah had the difficult task of telling the truth, just to show the truth. No matter whom it was taken. The book consists of 66 chapters and Isaiah used the word very Not Afraid, I Am Your God, I'm with you, I'll help. These were one of God's words to his people. We also have a chapter that is very special: ao12 Isaiah 53.1: there he speaks of the coming of the Savior of the world, "Jesus Christ" that come into the world as the son of man, but he was a son of God. "This Jesus" is the same as most people know their history, their suffering for love of the Father "God", and I will all of humanity. Jesus came to save, to liberate all humanity from bondage and slavery of sin and death. This was announced to hundreds of years before his coming.
Jeremiah was another major prophet, who suffered and suffered for love of God to try to save God's people from sin. The people of God was very stubborn, and a sinner who abused and even killed the prophets in Israel. A biblical prophet Jeremiah was born around 646 BC in Anathoth, a town near Jerusalem. His prophetic vocation began in 626 BC during the reign of Josiah and continued throughout the reigns of Jehoiakim and Zedekiah, kings of Judah, and during his time as Jerusalem and Judah were conquered by Nebuchadnezzar, the Babylonian king, and Jews were carried captive to Babylon, the first in 598 BC and again in 587 BC Spared the exile, Jeremiah chose to stay with Gedaliah, his close friend and later governor of Judah, after the murder of Gedaliah, is required to go to Egypt, believed to have died there around the year 580 BC In his book (Book of Jeremiah, classified by the Christian Bible as prophetic book) can be distinguished five sections more or less homogeneous: (1) Oracles against Judah and Jerusalem, (2) Oracles against the Nations, (3) Biographical descriptions of the Prophet, probably compiled by his disciple Baruch, (4) Book of Consolation, (5) Biographical Notes of the Prophet entered in the context of the conquest of Jerusalem.
Ezekiel was another major prophet in Israel, and was used in a very special way. He just opened his mouth when he was to speak on behalf of the "Lord God". Ezekiel interpreted the visions of angels sent by the Lord, and he had to prophesy in the name of the Lord. A well-known passage is in Chapter 37.1ao14, the prophecy about a valley of dry bones that came to life. This is another passage that shows the Savior will act on the day of Judgement. During the first years of the Babylonian exile (593-571 BC). Nebuchadnezzar took the Jews captive from Jerusalem to Babylon in three stages: in 605 BC, chosen Young Jews were deported to Babylon, including Daniel and his three friends, in 597 BC, 10,000 were taken captive to Babylon, Ezekiel being among them; in 586 BC Nebuchadnezzar's forces destroyed the entire city and temple, and most of the survivors were transported to Babylon. The prophetic ministry of Ezekiel was during the darkest hour in the history of AT. Ezekiel, whose name means "God strengthens" was of priestly family (1.3) and spent the 25 / 1 years of his life in Jerusalem. Was preparing for the priestly work of the temple when he was taken prisoner to Babylon in 597 BC Some five years later, at age thirty (1:2-3), Ezekiel received his prophetic call from God, and from there taught faithfully for twenty and two years at least. Ezekiel was about seventeen years old when Daniel was deported and, therefore, the two were virtually the same age, the powerful vision that Ezekiel saw the glory and the throne of God (ch. 1) and the divine commission that the prophet received for his prophetic ministry (2, 3) symbolic. 7.2,5 The chapters describe how God led Ezekiel to prophesy to a view that the end would come against the city. After the fall of Jerusalem, Ezekiel prophesies about the future restoration and revival, when, then, and God will give your a "new heart" and a "new spirit" (chapter 36). One of the strengths of the book of Ezekiel I consider the view of the valley of dry bones in the cap. 37. At 14
Daniel: The book also reveals how God protected and blessed life of this young man who was always faithful to biblical principles. It was used by the Lord to reveal the meaning of many prophecies and make great lessons. The book is divided into two parts: Chapters 1-6 deal with the historical part, and chapters 7 to 12, from prophetic. The first six chapters present the conflict between the supernatural forces of good and evil. The others reveal the human attempt to establish a world domination, including chasing the people of God. Remember that this study is free of any personal opinion or religious interpretations. All the meanings of verses, dates and symbols are taken from the Bible, confirmed by history.
Who was Daniel? Daniel was a young Hebrew whom Nebuchadnezzar, king of the Babylonian Empire, slavery led from Jerusalem to Babylon in the year 605 BC, at the beginning of 70 years of captivity of Israel. Along the king's court, Daniel and three Hebrew friends stood out for their general knowledge. God allowed Daniel and his companions were taken prisoners to Babylon so that living in a nation of idolaters, could represent His character. Born to a Jewish family of high-level and exiled to Babylon in his late teens, during his entire adult life tasks Daniel played statesman and government consultant. The daily contacts with international politics have made their writings assume the characteristics of extraordinary convenience. It was certainly remarkable how God led things, so that the young prisoner would become the principal adviser to the king himself who had brought him into captivity. Daniel, along with his three friends were captives in Babylon, and were chosen to serve the King in the palace. They were men of royal lineage, who were the children of Israel in captivity. Each of these men, God gave them special powers. Daniel had powers to interpret dreams and visions, and this he did in the royal palace. Daniel interpreted the dreams of the king telling him the whole truth on what would happen to the king, and together with his three friends would not bow to other gods, and were punished by the king, but had the Hand of the Lord about not leaving anything bad happen to them.
Hosea was another prophet in Israel with a mission a little differently. God through him, we do not show partiality. Hosea obeyed the commands of God, even though she was a bit strange: he had to look for him, a woman in the middle of prostitution to be his wife. He was not asked God why he should do this! Through his actions, God also showed that there is salvation in the midst of prostitution. God wanted to show Israel's infidelity, idolatry of his people, the consequences of Israel's sins, and in the end, God calls on Israel to return to Him, God, and give a new life for his people. Hosea was a biblical prophet who exercised his prophetic activity in the Northern Kingdom (or Kingdom of Israel). The period in which Hosea lived was severely shaken, after a period of some splendor during the reign of Jeroboam II, came a period of transformation and the constant region has been repeatedly plagued by other people, particularly by the Assyrians and the Egyptians. Hosea's preaching was extremely emotional: the first part of his book (Book of Hosea, classified by Bible Prophecy Book) the relationship between God and the people of Israel are presented in the image of a marriage where the love of God overrides the infidelity of his people. At the end of his book comes a glimmer of hope that a merciful God will eventually forgive and accept again the people of Israel.
Joel had the mission to proclaim the pests in Israel, speaking of the Lord's day, the trial of nations, and the blessings of the Lord to his people, the children of Israel. When the prophet Joel preached his message, the economic situation was desperate because of an attack of locusts unique. He leaves this fact to alert people to the practice of holiness, brokenness, and greater submission to the Lord, 1: 14, messages that make the book very timely. Joel also announces the Lord's day in and prevent an impending military attack would come by a foreign nation and ends the book with the most precious message about the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Amos, had the mission to announce the doom of neighboring nations and Israel, and asks the people to repent, and speaks of the visions of fire and the plummet: and the sight of baskets of fruit, and also the fall of the temple in Bethel. And a happy future for the people of God. Amos was a Biblical prophet, coming of the Kingdom of Judah (or the Southern Kingdom), who developed his teaching during the reign of Jeroboam II, about the year 750 BC In geographical terms, the preaching focused on the sanctuary of Bethel , a real sanctuary where he was the court of the Kingdom of Israel (or the Northern Kingdom). Using a rude language but earnest men of the desert itself, rose up against social injustice and against the religious formalism and rituals devoid of meaning. Also condemned the corrupt life of cities, the powerful and the priests, whose guidance and leading luxurious life contrasted with the misery of the poor. Your Biblical Book (Book of Amos), classified by the Christian Bible as prophetic book, is almost entirely written in poetry, that its interpretation should be made in a poetic form, as indeed applies to virtually all prophetic texts.
Obadiah speaks of punishment to Edom, the doom of nations, and victory in Israel: Obadiah and Obadiah (Hebrew:
עבדיה, Ovadyah, "Servant of Yahweh") is a prophet of the Hebrew Bible (the Christian tradition of the Old Testament ), one of the "Minor Prophets" (the fourth in the order of the Vulgate and the Hebrew canon, and the fifth in the Septuagint). His book, consisting of only 21 verses, is the smallest of the Old Testament and addresses the issue of lack of solidarity of the people of Edom (descendants of Esau - Genesis 36:1) to Israel, considered as a sister nation. The book is divided into two parts: the "prophecy against Edom" and "Proclamation of the Day of Yahweh."
Jonah: He disobeyed God and was punished severely by his act, but repented and was forgiven by the Lord. Jonah was swallowed by a great fish, presumed to have been a whale. Jonah had to bring the people of Nineveh the word of repentance, he got scared and ran away to another place, entering a ship going to Tarshish, the ship was adrift, almost sinking, and Jonah saw that he was guilty. After the scare, Jonah went to Nineveh to take the word of repentance, they heard Nineveh and was forgiven.
Micah also takes the word of salvation to his people, and promises a king to his people: Micah also speaks of the corruption of Israel, the salvation of his people, and Micah's prayer for mercy for the people of Israel. Who was Micah? Natural Moresheth-Gat in Hebron, was a biblical prophet Micah who prophesied during the reigns of Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and thus a contemporary of Isaiah, another biblical prophet. Having lived at the time of the Assyrian invasions over the kingdoms of Samaria and Judah, their predictions are directed against both kingdoms, which threatens punishment through the Assyrians. His book The Bible (Book of Micah), classified by the Christian Bible as prophetic book, divided into three sections: the first condemns the sins of Judah and Samaria, especially the injustices practiced by the rich and powerful who unfairly stripped the poor; the second begins with a prophecy about the restoration of Jerusalem, over which foreign nations will come and this will get rid of them, the third corresponds to a lawsuit against Jerusalem because of their idolatry. Nahum: Nahum show in the book of God's anger against Nineveh, the fall of Nineveh, the complaints about Nineveh. Nahum, whose name means "comforter" or "full of comfort," is unknown, except for the brief title that begins his prophecy. Its identification as a "Elkoshite" does not help much, since the location of Elcose is uncertain.
Habakkuk: The name "Habakkuk" means "embrace" or meaning that it was "hug from God" and thus strengthened by him for his difficult task, or "embracing others," thus encouraging them in times of national crisis . The musical notation found in 3.19, may indicate that Habakkuk was qualified to lead worship in the temple as a Levitical family member. The prophet is imbued with a sense of justice, which will not let you ignore the violent injustice existing around him. He also learned the need to take the most important questions about life to the One who created and redeemed life.
Zephaniah Zephaniah God speaks through on your big day, invites his people to repentance, on the punishment of the nations, and the salvation of Jerusalem. And Zephaniah is a hymn of praise to the Lord. Who was Zephaniah Zephaniah (whose name means "The Lord hid") was a Biblical prophet, whose preaching has taken place in the Kingdom of Judah between the years 640 BC and 625 BC, before the religious reform carried out by Josiah and chronologically located between Isaiah and Jeremiah, two other biblical prophets. The Kingdom of Judah in the time of Zephaniah, was characterized by some religious disorientation caused by the violent and wicked reigns of Manasseh and Amon and the fact that part of its territory have been dominated by Assyria after the invasion of Sennacherib. Manasseh will even come to give official protection to magic and charming and have built altars to worship the sun, moon, stars and zodiac signs. In his preaching, Zephaniah attacks directed not only to fashions and cults brought by foreign invaders, but also the powerful who accept and even protect those customs. The biblical book (classified as prophetic book by Christian Bible) is divided into four parts: The Lord's Day in Judah Threats Against Nations; Against Jerusalem, Promises to Israel. Haggai participated in the rebuilding of the temple, and the people obey God, the sins are condemned by God. God promises to bless his people. Haggai takes the word of God's promise to Zerubbabel; harsh words.
Who was Haggai Haggai (Hebrew "Haggay" which means "festive") was a minor biblical prophet, 12, a contemporary of Zechariah, belonging to the last period of prophecy, for the period of post-exile of the Jews in Babylon. His message, contained in four short speeches that make up your book in the Bible is totally oriented to the reconstruction of the Temple in Jerusalem. It, and as Zechariah, Haggai exhorts Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, and Joshua the high priest, to continue the rebuilding of the Temple had ceased shortly after the first arrival of Jews from exile in Babylon. The exhortations of Haggai dating from August and September of 520 BC, some 17 years after the return from exile of the Jews.
Zechariah: Zechariah by "God" speaking to his people, asking to go back to "Him, God." Zechariah has many visions that are interpreted to him by God. God speaks of the false fasting, the cause of bondage, the promises of God, punishment of the surrounding nations. The future king of Israel, bore the greatness of Israel, God promises to save their people from the cruel defeat of the kings of bad shepherds who feed their sheep. God speaks of the liberation of Jerusalem, speaks also of the order to kill the pastor, and also says that he is the king of the world, and that will be worshiped in Jerusalem.
Who was Zechariah? There are about 30 people mentioned in the Bible named Zechariah. However, the writer of the book that bears this name is identified as "Zechariah the son of Berechiah the son of Iddo the prophet." (Zechariah 1:1; Esd. 5:1; Nee. 12:12, 16) Your name (in Hebrew, Zekher • yah) means "Jehovah remembered." The book of Zechariah makes clear that "Jehovah of hosts" remember His people, treat them well because of his own name. (Zechariah 1:3) For the dates mentioned in the book, it covers at least two years. It was the "eighth month in the second year of Darius" (October / November 520 BCE), the construction of the temple was resumed and Zechariah began to prophesy. (1:1) The book also mentions the "fourth day of the ninth month, that is, in Chislev" in the "fourth year of Darius" (around 1. Dec. 518 BCE). (7:1) Thus, the prophecy of Zechariah was undoubtedly given and also recorded during the years 520-518 BCE. - Ezra. 4:24.
Those who study the book of Zechariah will find ample proof of its authenticity. Take the case of Tyre. It was after a siege of 13 years that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, ruined Tyre. But this did not mean the complete end of Tyre. Zechariah, after many years, predicted the total destruction of Tyre. It was the island city of Tyre, Alexander the Great defeated during his famous feat of building a landfill, he fired without mercy, thus fulfilling the prophecy of Zechariah about two centuries before. - Zac. 9:2-4. However, the most convincing proof of the divine inspiration of the book finds itself in the fulfillment of their prophecies about the Messiah, Jesus Christ, as you can see by comparing Zechariah 9:9 Matthew 21:4, 5 and John 12:14-16 Zechariah 12:10 with John 19:34-37, Zechariah 13:7 and Matthew 26:31 and Mark 14:27. There are also similarities to be noted between Zechariah 8:16, Ephesians 4:25, Zechariah 3:2 and Jude 9, and Zechariah 14:5 and Jude 14. The harmony found in the Word of God is really wonderful!
Malachi, speaks of God's love for Israel, and condemns the priests and their punishment. Malachi also speaks of the disobedience of the people of Israel, the Day of Judgement and the end of the tithes of God's compassion and again the Lord's day. Through Malachi, God was demanding Israel's sincerity and holiness, for being the nation that He separated from all the promised blessings that were bestowed on his people. Thus, both the crops as the economic welfare of the nation would be prosperous. In this study, we discuss some of the very current message of this prophet. The love of God for Israel is the starting point of the prophetic message of Malachi. God gave many convincing proofs of his love for Israel. All A.T. is proof of that, but the people seemed not to notice and questioned: "What we loved? 1: 2. a) The ingratitude and insensitivity prevailing in Israel were caused by lack of awareness of the great distance they were comfortable and the Lord's way. Also lacked reverence. They felt the Lord's people, but despised. They were so blind that when its horrors were unmasked, saw no harm in them, and even questioned when accused of sin: "What?", 1, 6, 7. Ingratitude or unconsciousness, it was your sin! Unfortunately, it is still the case today. We easily forget the deliverance, blessings and daily care. are so many unbelievers who do not realize that the greatest miracle is salvation, changing lives, what is happening all the time.
èb) The post-exilic - The Malachi's day were not easy. The people suffered afflictions. But it would be reason to doubt the divine love? Or, as they did, to the point of accusing God of being unfaithful to the promises of the Covenant? Then, through the prophet, God is going dialogue with his people, showing a contrast they well knew, what had happened to his neighbor Edom who were descendants of Esau, v. 3. The fact that Israel was redeemed from exile, though not deserved it shows the grace, the goodness of God for him, which did not happened to Esau, which was destroyed, 1: 3. But Malachi says that Israel did not understand it. It was not easy for the prophet Malachi to deliver the message of God, starting with those who were responsible for the altar, even to the people, pointing sternly all kinds of sins that were corrupting the people that had been designed to be a separate nation. a) Negligence in the spiritual life, 1: 6-14 - "You offer polluted bread upon mine altar," and even worse, not realizing that they were failing, they ask: "What we despised thy name? 1: 6; In what way have we defiled? 1: 7. Do we not also have been negligent with the cult, the EBD and missionary work? b) Education corrupt, 2: 1-9 - The real duty of the priests was to teach the Law of God to the people, 2: 5-7. But they had corrupted the ministry. This danger always exists that the Bible is left out in our lives. c) Unequal Yoke, 2: 10-12 - Israel had profaned the holiness of the Lord and the covenant He made with their fathers, 2: 10. You can not do according to the world, Romans 12: 2. è d) Divorce, 2: 13, 16 - The Lord hates divorce. Many were unfaithful to his wife ("with which you were unfair," 14) and divorced for selfish reasons, 2: 14. For the study of divorce today to see what Jesus stated in Matthew 5: 32, 19: 9 and also Rom. 7: 2-3. è e) Theft - 3: 7-12 - The spiritual situation was so bad that even tried to deceive God in tithes. The sentence is harsh and in line with the others. It shows how God ranks tenth in the unfaithful: diverted. Verse 7 says, "ye are gone away," and calls them back, but the people pretend they knew nothing and asks, "What shall we return? Then in verse 8, God says that the people were robbing him in tithes and offerings. See Deut. 14: 22-29 and 26: 12-15. è f) Unbelief, 3: 13-15, it was the priests, 2: 17, that his words have become intolerable to God. They have even said to be "useless to serve God," 3: 14. People act like this when they think they are more than God. The right name for this sin is pride, insolence. Need a heart of repentance. Always, at all times, everywhere, could God have a people who glorify and praise his name His mighty acts, staying true to the principles of the Word, living His teachings. è Sincerity fear of God - The Prophet makes it clear that there is a written memorial before God, Mal 3: 16, which are recorded words and deeds of those who fear and remember the name of the Lord. è b) Sincerity into submission - the spiritual bankruptcy of some is countered by the pious devotion of those who are closer and more of it. "It will be mine, saith the Lord of hosts," 3: 17. c) The sincerity of faith - The difference between the "righteous and the wicked, between him that serves God and what does not serve", 3, 18, will be seen that day. Nobody is fooled because there is a trial for everyone. There the righteous will be spared as a child is saved by his loving father, acts as his "jewels", 3: 17. There is a gap established between those who belong to God and those who are not His, Luc. 16: 26. It is worth being faithful. Source: Journal of Biblical Studies Hallelujah

Parte I                   Conhecendo  melhor a Bíblia, e a palavra de Deus.
