How to be a winner in the words what it means to forgive? See a comment in the word "God." Look what happened to Joseph, and he did! Joseph was only seventeen when his brothers in cold blood, sold him into slavery. Joseph was one of the twelve sons of Jacob, and was much loved by his father, and hated by his brothers. If you want to talk about "Forgiveness," the story of Joseph should not be excluded, because it is full. It involves a lot of hate, hurt, resentment, bitterness, wrath, envy and deceit. But it has the line: "Love and forgiveness" this true story is in Genesis chs. 37 to 50. This is what happened: Joseph had a dream and this dream he would rule, rule over his brothers. This provoked the anger, the anger of his brethren, and they decided to end the life of Joseph decided to kill him, but one of his brothers did not agree! They threw him in a pit, pulled and tore his clothes, smeared with blood and hunting, and then sold to merchants who landed in Egypt. Already in Egypt, he went to the house of Potiphar, the captain of the guard of Pharaoh: But Joseph was a purpose of "God" in Egypt! Joseph was a young beautiful and intelligent. This caused the wife of Potiphar, a strong desire by Joseph, but Joseph was fearing and obedient to "God", and he fled from Potiphar's wife. But she's not happy with the rejection of Joseph, set a trap for him, he could go outside without clothes. He was accused by her, and went to prison, getting stuck for a couple of years, but Joseph was special, was arrested and even prosper all who approached him. He earned the trust of Potiphar, and inside the prison, he interpreted the dream of two prisoners. The baker and the butler, and one of them would get his job, his job back, the other would be hanged. And so it happened: Pharaoh had dreams that nobody could interpret throughout Egypt and reveal the Pharaoh and Potiphar remember Joseph, and put it in front of Pharaoh, who told him his dream, nightmare, and Jose asked for time and referred to ' God ', who gave him this gift. In his dream Pharaoh saw seven fat cows and seven ears, big, good and then came seven lean cows and seven ears, withered, wilted. Joseph interpreted Pharaoh's dream: the seven fat years and large ears, green, were the seven years of plenty throughout Egypt, and all should be saved. For the second part of the dream of Pharaoh was seven years of drought throughout the land. Food would be only in Egypt, and all should seek food in Egypt, Joseph was placed as second in the reign of Pharaoh. Above him, only Pharaoh. After seven years of plenty came the seven years of drought, poverty, and Joseph was conquering all the lands and fortunes for Pharaoh. And Joseph's dream come true! In the whole earth was going on drought, famine and misery. His brothers had to go to Egypt in search of food, but they did not know they would find Joseph, and Joseph who now reigned, ruled over them. Arriving in Egypt they did not recognize Joseph, but Joseph recognized, and was thrilled and happy to see some of his brethren. Joseph made a charge to his brothers, demanding that they be brought up his younger brother. But where is the forgiveness? Joseph did not hate his brothers, he asked his father and other siblings. His brothers had to return Back to Egypt in search of food, and this time they had to leave one of his brothers until they bring the younger to him, so it did Joseph, but Joseph could not contain himself, and revealed himself to his brothers who he was. Imagine the surprise and the fear of their brothers! They feared for their lives, and all they did to Joseph, and lying to his father that Joseph had been devoured by a beast. Jose before revealing his brothers, cried a lot, but could not contain himself: there was something in Joseph is not on most of humanity. Love, character, obedience and fear of "God." And the main: "Forgiveness," the ability to love and forgive. Joseph sent for his entire family to come live with him in Egypt, including his father, Jacob, who became Israel, because God sent the angel to change its name. The whole family came to live with Joseph in Egypt, and having the best of the land that was ruled by Joseph Joseph's family was presented to Pharaoh, and Jacob, Israel, blessed Pharaoh, and lived in Egypt for over ten years. Joseph's father died in Egypt, but his body was embalmed and taken to the land of Israel. Now comes the most important part of this story! His brothers feared for their lives, they thought that Joseph would hate them, but this is not what happened! Joseph cared for them until the day of his death that he died at one hundred and ten years. Future generations will take charge of his bones from Egypt to the promised land "God." Forgiveness is the Bible, comes from "God," Joseph was a purpose of "God." This story has been placed in the first book of the Bible, and it was not by chance that "God" has put this book so blessed. Joseph is a beautiful story, true, and that serves as an example even today, as it involves what the world today are practicing, doing. Hating, killing, lying, and ignoring "what" that "God" has done more, it was "love and forgive," and Joseph, without knowing "God." But he feared and obeyed "God" The Scriptures teach us, however, that the unwillingness to forgive others cut in divine forgiveness. Jesus taught: "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, though, do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses" (Matthew 6:14-15) .Since all individuals responsible before God in need of forgiveness, it is therefore imperative that we understand, and practice forgiveness. Listen to Peter in Matthew.18. "21 Then Peter came to him and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven? 22 Jesus said to him: Do not say that up to seven, but seventy times seven. "What is Forgiveness? The Greek word translated as "forgive" literally means to cancel or redeem. It means the release or cancellation of a bond and was sometimes used in the sense of forgiving a financial debt. To understand the meaning of this word in the biblical concept of forgiveness, we must understand that the sinner is a spiritual debtor. Even Jesus used this figurative language when he taught the disciples how to pray: "Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors" (Matthew 6:12). A person becomes liable when they transgress the law of God (1 John 3:4). Each person who sins must bear the guilt of his iniquity (Ezekiel 18:4,20) see in detail what she said "God" in Ezekiel 18. {...} 4 Behold, all souls are mine; as is the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sins shall die. 5 Therefore, being a righteous man and practicing justice and righteousness, 6 not eaten upon the mountains or lift up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither has defiled his neighbor's wife or approach a woman in herseparation, 7 not oppress anyone, making the debtor his pledge, not stealing, given his bread to the hungry and covers the naked with clothing, 8 not giving his money to usury, and not getting too much, diverting his hand injustice, and making true judgments between man and man, 9 Walking in My statutes and keep My judgments, and proceeding after the fact, just as surely live, saith the Lord God. ... 21 But if the wicked turn from all the sins committed, and keep all My statutes, and do with righteousness and justice, he shall surely live, not die. 22 Of all the offenses he has committed shall be remembered against him, which done he shall live for justice. 23 Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked? Saith the Lord God, not that he should return from his ways and live? 25 Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not right. Hear now, O house of Israel: Is not my way equal? They are not your ways unequal? 27 But the wicked becoming the wickedness he has committed, and proceeding with righteousness and justice, save his soul alive. 28 Because he considers, and turns away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, not die.29 Yet saith the house of Israel: The Lord's way is not right. Are not my ways right, O house of Israel? And are not your ways unequal? 30 Therefore I will judge each according to his ways, O house of Israel, saith the Lord God. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions, and iniquity shall not be your ruin. 31 Cast away from you all your transgressions have transgressed, and make yourselves a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? 32 I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Lord GOD: Repent therefore, and live.} Imagine "God" telling it there in the past where they all lived under the law, and not under grace we live today, for the sake of the Son "Jesus Christ". The wages of sin is death did! See what it says in Romans. 6. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. He holds the position of a sinner in the eyes of God and loses its communion with God (Isaiah 59:1-2, "Behold, the first hand of the Lord is not shortened, that it can not save, neither his ear heavy, not to to hear. 2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, your sins have hidden His face from you, not to hear. "See what it says in 1 John 1:5," God is light: those who do not walk in the light have fellowship with Him "" 5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say we have fellowship with him yet walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin .....
The confession of sin and forgiveness through Christ 8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and there is no truth in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all injustiça.10 If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar and his word is not in us. " The good news of the gospel is that Jesus paid the price for our sins with His death on the cross. When we accept the invitation to salvation through our obedience to God's commandments, he accepts Jesus' death as payment for our sins and frees us from the guilt of our transgressions. We are not in a position to more lawbreakers or debtors before God. We are forgiven! Forgiveness, then, is an act in which the offender the victim free from sin, frees from the guilt of sin. This is the sense in which God "forgets" when you forgive (Hebrews 8:12). "10 For this is the covenant that I will make after those days the house of Israel, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be their God, and they shall be my people ; 11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know Me, from the least to the greatest. 12 I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. "
God remembered the sin of David, he committed against Uriah, Bathsheba, but in order to forgive him, "God" frees one from your sin debt, that is, cease to impute the guilt of sin to the person forgiven. See what it says in 2 Samuel 12.9 Wherefore hast thou despised the word of the LORD, to do evil in his eyes? Uriah the Hittite, you struck the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Amom.10 now, not the sword shall never depart from your house, because you despised me, and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife.
"God" punished him yes, but more importantly, "He", released after the forgiveness of his punishment. See: {...} 11 Thus saith the Lord: Behold I will raise your own house of evil upon thee, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbor, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun. 12 For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel and before the sun.13 And David said to Nathan, I have sinned against the Lord. And Nathan said to David, the Lord has forgiven your sin: you shall not die. (At that time, David's sin, if paid at death): the son of this sinful relationship was put to death, but see what "God" made later. ... 24 And David comforted Bathsheba his wife, and went to her and lay with her, and she gave birth to a son, and gave him the name of Solomon and the Lord loved him. 25 And he sent by the hand of Nathan the prophet, giving him the name Jedidiah, for Love the Lord.} (see also Romans 4: "6 Even as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness without works, saying: 7 Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, whose sins are covered. 8 Blessed is the man whom the Lord will not impute sin. "
Forgiveness is Conditional. It is important to understand that God's forgiveness is conditional. God forgives freely in the sense that it does not require the death of the sinner who responds to his invitation to salvation, allowing the death of Jesus pay the penalty for their sins. However, God requires faith, repentance, confession of faith and baptism as a condition for the forgiveness of the sinner. But gladly receive the word of salvation. (Acts 2:37-38, 8:35-38, Romans 10:9-10). "Acts. 2. 37 And when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said to Peter and other apostles: What shall we do, men brothers? 38 And Peter said to them: Repent, and each one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit; 39 For the promise is unto you and to your children, and all that are afar off, as many as the Lord our God shall call. 40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. 41 So then were baptized who gladly received his word, and that day were added unto them about three thousand souls, " If there is repentance, conversion and baptism, the Lord will be the best."Forgiveness" "Acts. 8:35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning from this Scripture, preached unto him Jesus. 36 And they went on their way, they came unto a certain water, and the eunuch said, here is water, which prevents me from being baptized? 37 And Philip said: Is it lawful, if you believe with all my heart. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. 38 And he commanded them to stop the car and went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch and he baptized him. 39 And when they came out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, and no longer saw the eunuch, and, rejoicing, went his way. " Forgiveness is also conditional for the Christian who sins. The blessing of repentance coming, do not buy with money. Repentance, a change of thinking, must occur before that divine forgiveness is extended (Acts 8: 15-22). "15 who, having come down, prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit. 16 (Because of any of them yet he was fallen: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus).17 Then laid they their hands, and received the Holy Santo.18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, 19 Saying, Give me also this power, that that on whomsoever I lay hands may receive the Holy Spirit. 20 But Peter said to him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. 21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right before God. 22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, lest you be forgiven the thought of thine heart; " God calls us to forgive as he forgives. When someone sins against me, it becomes a transgressor of the law of Christ. I consider him a sinner. If he repents and asks to be forgiven, I I have to forgive him, that is, release it as a transgressor of his guilt. When I forgive, do not consider it more a sinner. I may not literally be able to forget the sin he has committed more than God literally "forget" our sins, but must leave to give him the blame for his sin. Thus, I delivered his "debt" "
And if the sinner does not repent? I have to forgive those who sin against me, but does not repent? Perhaps this question is best answered by the words of Jesus: "Beware. If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him, if he repents, forgive him. If, for seven times a day, he trespass against thee, and seven times, to thee, saying, I repent, forgive him. 4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in the day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent, forgive him. "(Luke 17 :3-4). Jesus said that forgiveness should be extended when a sinner repents and confesses his sin. We must also remember that God always requires repentance as a condition of divine forgiveness. God requires of us that he is not willing do.
Forgiveness is not. . . In fact, the sinner is freed of his guilt without repentance, we encourage you to continue in their destructive ways. Forgiveness is not an excuse for sin. Some people "forget" that is, ignore the sins committed against them because they are afraid to confront the sinner. But the Bible is very clear over the course of action to be followed when a brother sins against me (Luke 17:3, Matthew 18:15-17). Forgiveness speaks of mercy, but should not be confused with tolerance and permission of sin. The Lord will punish or forgive the sinner, depending on the reaction of the sinner to the gospel, but he will not tolerate lawlessness. The Bible teaches that the right of vengeance belongs to God (Romans 12:17-21). "17 Repay no one evil for evil Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 18 If possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Do not seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place unto wrath, for it is written: Vengeance is Mine, I will repay, saith the Lord. 20 Therefore, if your enemy is hungry, feed him and if he is thirsty, give him drink: for in so doing, you will heap coals of fire on his cabeça.21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. "
Forgiveness, however, is not simply a refusal to take revenge. Sometimes the injured person refrains from responding to evil with evil, but not wanting to release the sinner from his status as a wrongdoer even if the sinner repents. The person against whom he sinned the sin may want to use to punish the sinner, mentioning it from time to time to shame the sinner. If I forgive my brother, I have to "forget" their sin in the sense that no longer attach to it. Forgiveness is not the removal of the temporal consequences of our sin. The man who kills another can repent and seek forgiveness, but still suffer the temporal punishment of human law. Even if forgiven, may have to pass the rest of his life in prison. Forgiveness removes the eternal consequences of sin! How Can I Forgive?
Sin damages the relationship between people and harms our relationship with our Creator. The person against whom they sinned often feel hurt, perhaps angry by the iniquity of sin. Forgiveness is necessary for the spiritual healing of the relationship, but we must prepare our hearts to forgive. We need to accept the injustice of the injury, the treachery of sin, and get ready to forgive (note the examples of Jesus and Stephen, Luke 23:34, Acts 7:55 to 60). Peter denied Christ three times, but after that came the true repentance. "Luke. 23. 33 And he said, Lord, I'm ready to go with you to prison and to death. 34 But he said: I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day before three times deny that you know me. " Stephen died for being faithful to "God and the Son Jesus Christ," because even back then there was a strong stand against those who preached Christianity. Acts. 7:55 But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at God's right, 56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened and the Son of man, which is standing on the right hand of God. 57 But they cried with a loud voice, stopped their ears, and rushed against him. 58 And they cast him out of the city, and stoned him. And the witnesses laid down their garments at the feet of a young man named Saul. 59 And they stoned Stephen, invoking and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. 60 And he stood on his knees, he cried with a loud voice, Lord, do not hold this sin against them. And having said this, he fell asleep. "Stephen's story involves the name of a man who at the time was still called Saul, and later came to be called Paul, and who was separated from the Lord "Jesus" to suffer in the name of the Lord Jesus, and bring the word of the Lord every creature. And so it happened: that Paul became one of the greatest preachers of the word "Lord." But Paul was in true repentance, conversion and baptism in the "Holy Spirit" Paul's story is confirmed in Acts ch. 9 to .... : If the sinner refuses to repent, we can not continue to harbor anger, or it will turn into hatred and bitterness (see Ephesians 4:26-27,31-32). Though a sinner can maintain its position as the offender because of his refusal to repent his sin will not dominate my emotional state.
"Ephesians. 4. 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. 25 Therefore put off falsehood and speak every man truth with his neighbor: for we are members one of another. 26 Be ye angry and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath. 27 Neither give place to the devil. 28 Let him that stole steal no more; must work, doing with his hands what is good, so you have something to share with you may require. 29 Do not go out of your mouth any unwholesome talk, but only what is good for edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander and all malice be put away from you, And be 32 to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God forgave you in Christ. "
And if the sinner repent? How can I learn to forgive? Jesus told a parable about a servant who owed a huge amount (10,000 talents) to his king (Matthew 18:23-35). He was unable to pay the debt to the king and begged for sympathy. The king forgave him for his enormous debt, but this servant promptly went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a relatively small amount and demanded payment, grabbing him by the neck. Although the companion of servitude beg for compassion, the lender gave him to prison. When the king was informed of the acts of his unmerciful servant, became angry and rebuked this servant, handing him over to the torturers until he should pay his entire debt. Of course we are represented in the parable of the servant who had a huge debt. There is no comparison between the offenses we have committed against God and those who have been committed against us. Jesus observed that, just as in the servant does not merciful, the Father will not forgive us for our offenses are not forgive our fellow (18:35, see also Matthew 5:7). Do not like this unfaithful servant, who had his debt forgiven by the king, and the short was not forgiven. To prepare ourselves to forgive, we must remember that we ourselves are sinners and in need of divine forgiveness (Romans 3:23). For the Christian, God has already forgiven you a huge debt at the time of baptism. When we remember the greatness of the debt that God wants to forgive us, surely we must forgive those who have much less in comparison (Ephesians 4:32, Colossians 3:13).

Dear readers (as) a survey on the Internet, I found these comments, which strangely enough were written by me, the coincidence of such writing. I always tried to put the truth in the word, and here with these Internet users. I showed part of much that is still the word of "God, through His Son Jesus Christ" Forgiveness has to be true: anything by half. The story of Joseph is one of the most beautiful stories I've ever seen in the Holy Bible, because it involved "Love, hate, anger, hurt, resentment, envy, greed and lies." But it was Joseph's what "God" has done more in the entire Bible, which was truly love and forgive. I will not stop here, go back to search again, and bring you the release you are seeking forgiveness from someone, even if it is your worst enemy, we must love him and forgive him with all our heart. Just as Joseph did, and did "Jesus Christ" who loved us and forgave us first. Even without any guilt and no sin. Take advantage, lessons for the day to day. Amen

Amen
