(Old Testament) II book: Exodus
Exodus; which speaks of the output of the Hebrew people from Egypt: Dying Joseph, were some remnants of his family, which grew fruitful and multiplied. But also died the Pharaoh who knew the deeds of Joseph in Egypt. And the new Pharaoh was troubled by the growth of the Jewish people, the people of God: they were considered foreign by the new Pharaoh. Pharaoh decided to tighten the siege against them; and forcing them to work more and more. One of the first acts of Pharaoh was put to death all the sons of the Hebrew people. This people had grown a lot and were very established; and that bothered to Pharaoh. During this time, Moses was born, it had to be hidden for three months not to be killed: he was placed in a basket of bitumen, not to sink. This boy came down the river, and was found by slaves of Pharaoh's daughter, who decided to take care of him, the boy. The boy Moses grew up in Egypt, but it was not the son of Egyptian; his family was of the tribe of Levi; descendants of Joseph.
When Moses was grown, was killed an Egyptian who had struck a Hebrew, one of his brothers; and Pharaoh found out what happened, and thought to have slain Moses who had to flee, going in Midian. There Moses met Reul, who consented that Moses lived with them. Reul, gave Zipora as Moses' wife, this relationship was born Gerson, meaning Pilgrim; for this was Moses in foreign lands. So far Exodus ch. 1 and 2. Moses was feeding the flock of his father; he coming, on Mount Horeb, the mountain of God appeared to Moses, an angel in a fire in a burning bush that was not consumed. Burned, but not erased. And the Lord spoke to Moses for the first time, and did not allow him to approach a lot and not set foot there; it was a sacred place. And God said to Moses that the God of his father, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, God revealed to Moses, it was time to deliver his people, serfdom and slavery in Egypt. And he, Moses would be responsible for this: God said to Moses, Fear not, I will be with you. Moses tried to reason with God, how could this, how would listen to Moses. The Lord convinced Moses to do this, and was ahead of all, where they were the Lord was with them. You know why? It was now the time of the promise fulfilled. (Êx. Ch. 3)
Êx. Cap. 04: Moses' rod becomes a serpent Moses questioned God, saying, as they would listen to him Moses. God told Moses to repeat all that He told him to do: there was a stick in the hand of Moses who was turned into a serpent. Moses was enough pick it up again in the hands she again became a stick. God turned a hand of Moses in leprosy: he again put his hand back into his chest, and she was well again. And so Moses was being prepared by God. And as he was heavy-speaking man, this was also solved by God, who spoke to him, and he spoke with Aaron would speak to Pharaoh. Aaron spoke to the people all the words spoken by God, and the people came to believe in Moses
You cap. 5: Moses goes to Pharaoh and say the words spoken by the Lord to Moses, that repeats Aaron and Pharaoh does not believe in Moses. And God began to throw plagues in Egypt, in order to obey Pharaoh; but not was so happened. Pharaoh hardened his heart more and more. God's people became increasingly most punished by Pharaoh, and Moses struck mouth with God, charging Him explanations. And his people complains Aaron Moses
In Chapter 6: God speaks to Moses, confirming the covenant made with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and asks him to fear not; for the Lord was with him, Moses and his people, and promises to deliver the Israelites. And God encourages again to speak to Pharaoh
In ch. 7: God told Moses that He would harden increasingly Pharaoh's heart, to show that He was God, not Pharaoh. And Moses had only eighty years old when he received from God the work: Many of the signs that Moses did, his magicians and sorcerers were also: but God was with Moses, and increasingly hardened Pharaoh's heart. Were launched in Egypt eleven heavy plagues on Pharaoh. The waters turned to blood, then came the frogs died, and smelled bad; came the plague of lice; swarms of flies. Still Pharaoh not softened his heart, died around the Pharaoh cattle and none of the people of Israel, came to the plague on all Pharaoh's animals, which still remained the heart of stone. Came the "scabies", and the ulcers against Pharaoh and also came fire volley killing and destroying everything. Still Pharaoh remained firm in his resolve not to free the people of God.
The Lord did all these things, to show his people that He, God was ahead of everything.
He was the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; and there was no other God but Him After that came the plague of locusts destroying all planting:. but God continued to harden Pharaoh's heart, that he would not let out the children of Israel. And there was darkness for three days in Egypt. One of the heaviest plagues that God laid upon Egypt was the death of all the firstborn, including the royal line: getting Pharaoh without successor. So far, Exodus ch. 6 ao11.
Exodus ch. 12,13. And Moses, celebrated the first Passover in the Egyptian desert. It has nothing to do with this Easter that celebrates the world of today, celebrate with chocolate eggs and cod.
The true meaning of Easter means liberation. It was now the hour of God's people out of Egypt, to be delivered: was passed lamb's blood on the windows, the door posts and doors of all God's people. This was the sign of God to his people, the release: it happened that every house that was so, would not suffer the weight of God's hand. Pharaoh's, the first-born, all died. Four hundred and thirty years have passed; but God kept his promise. That same night, everyone left the land of Egypt, as God had promised. And All the eldest born of the womb of the nuns, would have to be sanctified to God, Easter was as eternal status, to be celebrated every year. . Still in chapter 12 speaks of the death of the firstborn of Pharaoh's house; even the heirs to the throne died. And God fulfills the promise after 43 years withdraws his people from Egypt, and all should be circumcised, even slaves bought with money. And the Israelis firstborn are sanctified "God". The people of God are guided along the paths in the desert by God. Exodus. Caps. 12 and 13. Cap. 14; God announces the ruin of the Egyptians, and ordered everyone camped opposite the sea: but the children of Israel were murmuring, were always questioning Moses, charging of God, a position. All the Egyptian army came after the people of Israel; and they feared and murmured against God. But God told Moses to stretch his stick and play in the waters: and what happened! The waters of the Red Sea parted, forming a wall and they could cross in the middle of the sea on dry land. But Pharaoh's army approached, and they despaired: and God spoke again to Moses as well. Extend your staff again and touch the water; so did Moses, and the waters swallowed all Pharaoh's army, killing them drowned; and the people believed in God again. The Egyptians drown in the sea.
In ch. 15: Moses and the children of Israel, sang a beautiful song to God, the Lord had promised Israel that would remove him from Egypt, and would give them a land flowing with milk and honey. This land existed, but they needed to get to it, inherit it and possess it: they were in the wilderness the way of the land, and they murmured against Moses and Aaron, saying it was better to have stayed in Egypt who die of hunger and thirst in the desert. This would never happen to them! For God stood in front of everything. And God heard them murmuring against Moses, and provided food and water. God gave them bread shaped like a gomer, called manna; they had to harvest enough alone, but sobejavam; always caught, that rotting the next day. They did not understand that this food was a daily quota: this manna fed them for forty years in the wilderness, was the time it remained wandering in the desert. The dancing Miriam and women; the bitter waters are sweet.
Exodus ch. 16: God sends manna, the bread daily, and have they only pick up the necessary for each day, but they were greedy and whisperers. And God appears to Moses and speaks of the murmuring of the people. And God sends meat to them, to their fill up out at your nostrils, because God could not stand so much gossip, such a lack of confidence. And Omer was the daily bread for them to reap the sixth day, not on Saturdays, but they disobeyed, and all that's left, rotted. They were stubborn.
Cap. 17: the long walk through the desert that lasted 40 years, because of unbelief, murmuring and rebellion of them. They penaram for lack of water, and fought against the Amalekites. Here speaks a curious fact, when Moses held up his hands, the Israelites won, but when his hand lowered, who prevailed was the Amalekites. Aaron and Hur held up Moses' hands so that his people win your opponent. And Moses built an altar there and gave the name of "the Lord is my banner"
In ch. 18; Moses tells his father all that God had done. And Jethro blessed the God of Moses, who interceded for his people every time that they sought it. Moses heard the words, the advice of his father and separated men to help him, and made them heads of a thousand people. This was done:
In ch. 19, God speaks to Moses on Mount Sinai, and imposes limits, because the place was sacred. Only Moses could approach: and God came down the mountain in the form of fire. Moses prepares the heart of his people, to listen and apply the laws and commandments with eternal status by the elders of Israel. In the sacred hill, only Moses could step up and, still barefoot: Moses came down the hill, and sanctified his people who have washed their clothes. When God spoke to Moses, Mount Sinai smoked size was the power of God, and only Moses had access to God. No one from the people of Israel could pierce a certain threshold Hill:
In ch. 20; God speaks to Moses about the Ten Commandments, for him to pass his people, that it was done. God spoke to Moses, for it prepare an altar, a place for him to take and make the sacrifices of his people; because there would be blessed by God, for the love of Moses. This altar, could not be of hewn stone, and not steps, so that the nakedness of Moses, would not be discovered.
Cap 21-31.; God speaks and says to Moses, all that his people should make and keep. For there commandments, laws and statutes to be fulfilled by God's people. Everything is shown to Moses, all laws, commandments and statutes. In ch. 23, God promises to send an angel to protect them, but they should obey, they were infidels, stubborn, disobedient and whisperers.
Chap. 24: God commands Moses climbing Mount with their elders, in the following chapters God speaks to his people bring offerings to the tabernacle and have build an ark of acacia wood and satin, and all the mercy seat in gold; the wooden tables covered with satin: God commands also make curtains for the tabernacle, and the boards of the tabernacle of acacia wood. Veil of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen; with cherubs masterpiece, upon four pillars of acacia wood overlaid with gold; their hooks of gold, upon the four sockets of silver. Hang up the veil under the hooks, and put the ark of the testimony there within the veil; and this veil shall be separation between the sanctuary and the most holy place, And thou shalt put the mercy seat on the ark of the testimony in the most holy place, It was also made the altar for the tabernacle and a courtyard for the tabernacle, and most pure olive oil.
And God chooses Aaron and his sons to priests. Anyway God ordered it made everything with all the best of the land. It was also made an altar to burn incense: and God spoke to Moses that when he was telling the children of Israel would have to give offerings to make atonement for your souls. The sink was copper, and oil had to be fine, incense holy all the best spices. And the architects of charter tabernacle work also chosen by God, the best of the season. God confirms the sanctity of the Sabbath and makes a covenant with Moses, and gave him the two tablets of the Ten Commandments that were destroyed by Moses because of rebellion and stubbornness of his people, you will see in Sec. 32, why. And so it was up to the cap. 31
In ch. 32; Moses took in coming down the mountain, God commands Moses to hurry, because his people had been infected, blowing a calf in gold, and began to love this calf that very displeased God and Moses as well. They went so far as to build an altar for this statue, and bowed to her. And the worst, with the consent of Aaron, I should not have allowed such offense against God. The anger, wrath of God was so great that He, God, again expressed a desire to wipe out humanity; and Moses, took front of everything, and made intercession for his people, and managed to convince God that He did not do it. The Lord came to promise to Moses, another great nation through Moses. And God repented of destroying all the people of Israel, for the love of Moses.
But Moses did something that I believe that did not please God, he was so mad he broke the two tablets of the Ten Commandments, size was his anger against his people. There was a very big punishment for those who participated in that madness paid with his life, Aaron was spared. Moses destroyed the golden calf, and took radical action, coming to ask God to scratch his name from the book of life, if He, God, was not with his people, the walk in the desert. Then God sent an angel to guide the people of Israel in the wilderness towards the promised land:
In ch. 33; God sent the angel to lead the people of Israel, and was eliminating all the enemies that were in the way of the people of Israel. And God sent Moses to take his people, all attire, decorations, and laid at the foot of Mount Horeb gift: the Monte Santo. While Moses spoke to God face to face, everything turned around them; there was a brightness, a different light. And Moses faced God out of love for his people; at the risk of being punished by God, such was her boldness and courage of Moses has come to ask God to see the glory of God. And God hid Moses in a cleft, and allowed Moses to see his glory back: for no man could see the face of God in the face.
In ch. 34; Moses goes up again to Mount holy, and God till the two tablets of the Ten Commandments, which Moses had broken. God rewrites the tablets of the Ten Commandments again, and Moses is there the holy mountain for forty days and falls with the tablets again. And was asked again by God, for everything to be kept in the heart, and obeyed by all the people. God's covenant, only depended on the people, to meet as eternal commandment. The enemy nations were being decimated one by one; it was God's promise to Moses and the people of Israel. Moses was so full of the Lord's glory, that his face shone, Moses, when he spoke to God, he covered his face with a veil, when you leave the presence of God, he drew the veil from her face.
In ch. 35; Moses ordered his people to fulfill all the commandments, and who respect the Sabbath day, which was consecrated to the Lord God. After Moses speak to his people all they should do, he walked away from his people. Here Moses speaks highly of the offering. (For a specific purpose, they are sporadic, does not continue with is the tithe).
In chap. 36-40; speaks of everything that should be done, for God, His tabernacle, and all that was necessary. Moses does not enter the land of promise, and not those who were over twenty years; because of their murmurings. And Moses committed sins that led to God, not to allow its entry into the promised land; but God showed him at the top of Mount Pisgah.
The Leviticus book is the book of laws, commandments and statutes of the people of Israel. This book, I'll jump and go to the books of Numbers and Deuteronomy.
I'll show you a more theological commentary of these two first books, see
Genesis: Principle. Greek genesis, origin.
Comment: Genesis can be described accurately as the book of beginnings. Can be divided into two main parts. The first part concerns the history of primitive humanity (chs. 1-11).
The second part deals with the history of the particular people whom God chose as His own (caps.12-50) for you. The author presents the material very easily. Offers ten "stories that can be readily perceived in the sketch book. Some of these stories are short and very condensed, but nevertheless help to make the contents. It is quite possible that the author of the book have used information sources, oral and written because their reports date back to earliest history of the human race. Although much has been written on the subject of possible literary sources of the book of Genesis, there are many valid objections that prevent us from accepting the analysis of the results of these "sources". The Genesis stresses, all of your pages, the unmerited grace of God. At the world's creation, grace is exhibited in the wonderful provision prepared by God for His creatures. In the creation of man, God's grace is manifested the fact that the man was granted even the likeness of God. God's grace is evident even in the flood. Abraham was chosen, not by merit, but rather due to the fact that God is full of grace. In all your contacts with the patriarchs.
God shows great mercy: always receive more favor than any of them could have earned. There is another important feature of Genesis that should not be forgotten, namely the eminently satisfactory way in which answers our questions about the origins. Man will always be wondering how the world came into existence. In addition, and painfully feel the fact that some great disorder fallen over the world, and I wonder what is its nature; in short, is concerned to know how sin and all its tremendous consequences come upon. And finally, the man needs to know if there is a basic right of redemption and hope for this world and its inhabitants that is this hope, and how it came to be held by the man.
Exodus: Redemption. Exodus; exit.
Comment: As Genesis is the book of beginnings, Exodus is the book of redemption. The deliverance of the oppressed Israelites out of Egypt is the type of all redemption. The severity of slavery in Egypt (type in the world) and Pharaoh (a type of Satan) demanded so to speak, the preparation of the liberator Moses (2: 1-4: 31), a type of Christ. The fight with the oppressor (5: 1-11: 10) culminates in the match (Greek exodus or output) of the Hebrews from Egypt. Are redeemed by the blood of the Passover lamb (12: 1-28) and the power of God manifested in the crossing of the Red Sea (13: 1-14: 31). The experience of redemption, celebrated by the triumphal song of the redeemed (15: 1-21), is followed by evidence that they face in the desert (15: 22-18: 27). On Mount Sinai redeemed nation accepts the law (19: 1-31: 18). The not depend on the grace leads the offense and the conviction (32: 1-34: 35). However, triumphs the grace of God to be given to the people the tabernacle, the priesthood and sacrifices, by which the redeemed people could love the Redeemer and have fellowship with him (36: 1-40: 38).
Here at the end, I sought a Comment Theological; I particularly chose to comment according to my understanding of the Bible. To let you know the meaning, the importance of each chapter and of the words of "God" through his prophets; that here was "Moses", considered one of the greatest prophets by "God." And the only one who was closest and spoke with "God" closely.
"God" spoke to Moses face to face; front. And more: the body of Moses has been preserved, and God does not show it to anybody yesterday buried Moses, no one knows to this day where Moses was buried; this so that there was no speculation, and no one will love and idolize her body.
Noble readers (as) I want to thank all of you for all the good that you have given me. A few years ago I commented the Holy Bible the way I understand, I am doing a new review and now putting in books, so that everyone will know what it says in each book. I am not a theologian, but a student of the Holy Bible; this way, you will know what they will encounter in each chapter. Many thanks to all my noble readers (as) will take angus days, but put here each book for me commented: stay on the "Peace of the Lord God through His Son Jesus Christ."
