 Disse Deus: Eu Sou o Alfa e o Ômega: O primeiro e o Último. Não temas Eu Sou contigo. Parte II       Também em Inglês                                                                                                          Nobres leitores, estou aqui tentando mostrar a vocês mais um novo tema, que considero muito importante.  “Deus “foi e ainda é o primeiro e será o último”, e por isto que a palavra a ser seguida é: “Não temas, Eu Sou contigo”. Assim é “Deus” Eterno.    Ele, mandou seu Único filho para a terra, para viver como filho do homem, mas sendo o filho Único de Deus, para salvar e libertar o mundo dos pecados e da morte. E assim aconteceu: mas o mundo não o reconheceu, e infelizmente ainda nos dias de hoje acontece muito, pois é mais fácil fingir que Deus não existe, para não se fazer as coisas de maneira correta, que é obedecer.                                                                                                          Eu Sou o teu escudo. O Que Significa: “Não Temas, Porque Eu Sou Contigo”?        Gênesis 15:1 Depois destes acontecimentos, veio a palavra do SENHOR a Abrão, numa visão, e disse: Não temas, Abrão, Eu Sou o teu escudo, e teu galardão será sobremodo grande.  “Não temas, porque eu sou contigo” é uma declaração de encorajamento que indica o cuidado providencial do Senhor para com seus filhos. O estudo bíblico dessa frase mostra que ela faz parte da profecia de Isaías acerca da soberania de Deus no governo da História e na redenção do Seu povo.                                                                                    Não temas na Bíblia:                                                                                                                              Em Marcos 5:36 Jesus foi questionado por algumas pessoas que o acompanhavam; pois alguém havia morrido e Jesus disse assim:  “35  Estando ele ainda falando, chegaram alguns do principal da sinagoga, a quem disseram: A tua filha está morta; para que enfadas mais o Mestre? 36  E Jesus, tendo ouvido estas palavras, disse ao principal da sinagoga: Não temas, crê somente. 37  E não permitiu que alguém o seguisse, a não ser Pedro, Tiago, e João, irmão de Tiago. 38  E, tendo chegado à casa do principal da sinagoga, viu o alvoroço, e os que choravam muito e pranteavam. 39  E, entrando, disse-lhes: Por que vos alvoroçais e chorais? A menina não está morta, mas dorme. 40  E riam-se dele; porém ele, tendo-os feito sair, tomou consigo o pai e a mãe da menina, e os que com ele estavam, e entrou onde a menina estava deitada. 41  E, tomando a mão da menina, disse-lhe: Talita cumi; que, traduzido, é: Menina, a ti te digo, levanta-te.”                                                                                                  Vejam a força da palavra não temas para “Deus”. Veja o que diz em Isaías. 41: “8  Porém tu, ó Israel, servo meu, tu Jacó, a quem elegi descendência de Abraão, meu amigo; 9  Tu a quem tomei desde os fins da terra, e te chamei dentre os seus mais excelentes, e te disse: Tu és o meu servo, a ti escolhi e nunca te rejeitei. 10  Não temas, porque eu sou contigo; não te assombres, porque Eu Sou teu Deus; Eu te fortaleço, e te ajudo, e te sustento com a destra da minha justiça. 11  Eis que, envergonhados e confundidos serão todos os que se indignaram contra ti; tornar-se-ão em nada, e os que contenderem contigo, perecerão. 12  Buscá-los-ás, porém não os acharás; os que pelejarem contigo, tornar-se-ão em nada, e como coisa que não é nada, os que guerrearem contigo. 13  Porque Eu, o SENHOR teu Deus, te tomo pela tua mão direita; e te digo: Não temas, Eu te ajudo. 14  Não temas, tu verme de Jacó, povozinho de Israel; Eu te ajudo, diz o SENHOR, e o teu redentor é o Santo de Israel.”                   Assim disse Deus a Moisés em Deuteronômio 31: “3  O SENHOR teu Deus passará adiante de ti; Ele destruirá estas nações de diante de ti, para que as possuas; Josué passará adiante de ti, como o SENHOR tem falado. 4  E o SENHOR lhes fará como fez a Siom e a Ogue, reis dos amorreus, e à sua terra, os quais destruiu. 5  Quando, pois, o SENHOR vo-los der diante de vós, então com eles fareis conforme a todo o mandamento que vos tenho ordenado. 6  Esforçai-vos, e animai-vos; não temais, nem vos espanteis diante deles; porque o SENHOR teu Deus é o que vai contigo; não te deixará nem te desamparará. 7  E chamou Moisés a Josué, e lhe disse aos olhos de todo o Israel: Esforça-te e anima-te; porque com este povo entrarás na terra que o SENHOR jurou a teus pais lhes dar; e tu os farás herdá-la. 8  O SENHOR, pois, é aquele que vai adiante de ti; Ele será contigo, não te deixará, nem te desamparará; não temas, nem te espantes.”                                                                                       Ainda com Josué “Deus” disse assim em Josué 1. “5  Ninguém te poderá resistir, todos os dias da tua vida; como fui com Moisés, assim serei contigo; não te deixarei nem te desampararei. 6  Esforça-te, e tem bom ânimo; porque tu farás a este povo herdar a terra que jurei a seus pais lhes daria. 7  Tão-somente esforça-te e tem mui bom ânimo, para teres o cuidado de fazer conforme a toda a lei que meu servo Moisés te ordenou; dela não te desvies, nem para a direita nem para a esquerda, para que prudentemente te conduzas por onde quer que andares. 8  Não se aparte da tua boca o livro desta lei; antes medita nele dia e noite, para que tenhas cuidado de fazer conforme a tudo quanto nele está escrito; porque então farás prosperar o teu caminho, e serás bem sucedido. 9  Não to mandei Eu? Esforça-te, e tem bom ânimo; não temas, nem te espantes; porque o SENHOR teu Deus é contigo, por onde quer que andares.”                                                                                                                                   Veja o que diz em Isaías 40 em resumo: “9  Tu, ó Sião, que anuncias boas novas, sobe a um monte alto. Tu, ó Jerusalém, que anuncias boas novas, levanta a tua voz fortemente; levanta-a, não temas, e dize às cidades de Judá: Eis aqui está o vosso Deus. 10  Eis que o Senhor DEUS virá com poder e seu braço dominará por ele; eis que o seu galardão está com ele, e o seu salário diante da sua face. 11  Como pastor apascentará o seu rebanho; entre os seus braços recolherá os cordeirinhos, e os levará no seu regaço; as que amamentam guiará suavemente. 12  Quem mediu na concha da sua mão as águas, e tomou a medida dos céus aos palmos, e recolheu numa medida o pó da terra e pesou os montes com peso e os outeiros em balanças? 26  Levantai ao alto os vossos olhos, e vede quem criou estas coisas; foi aquele que faz sair o exército delas segundo o seu número; Ele as chama a todas pelos seus nomes; por causa da grandeza das suas forças, e porquanto é forte em poder, nenhuma delas faltará. 27  Por que dizes, ó Jacó, e tu falas, ó Israel: O meu caminho está encoberto ao SENHOR, e o meu juízo passa despercebido ao meu Deus? 28  Não sabes, não ouviste que o eterno Deus, o SENHOR, o Criador dos fins da terra, nem se cansa nem se fatiga? É inescrutável o seu entendimento. 29  Dá força ao cansado, e  multiplica as forças ao que não tem nenhum vigor. 30  Os jovens se cansarão e se fatigarão, e os moços certamente cairão; 31  Mas os que esperam no SENHOR renovarão as forças, subirão com asas como águias; correrão, e não se cansarão; caminharão, e não se fatigarão.”                                                                        Veja o que “Deus” disse  a Jeremias  em Jeremias.1. “4  Assim veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo: 5  Antes que te formasse no ventre te conheci, e antes que saísses da madre, te santifiquei; às nações te dei por profeta. 6  Então disse eu: Ah, Senhor DEUS! Eis que não sei falar; porque ainda sou um menino. 7  Mas o SENHOR me disse: Não digas: Eu sou um menino; porque a todos a quem Eu te enviar, irás; e tudo quanto te mandar, falarás. 8  Não temas diante deles; porque Estou contigo para te livrar, diz o SENHOR. 9  E estendeu o SENHOR a sua mão, e tocou-me na boca; e disse-me o SENHOR: Eis que ponho as minhas palavras na tua boca; 10  Olha, ponho-te neste dia sobre as nações, e sobre os reinos, para arrancares, e para derrubares, e para destruíres, e para arruinares; e também para edificares e para plantares.”                                                                                       Vejam o que diz em Ezequiel. 2. “2  Então entrou em mim o Espírito, quando Ele falava comigo, e me pôs em pé, e ouvi o que me falava. 3  E disse-me: Filho do homem, Eu te envio aos filhos de Israel, às nações rebeldes que se rebelaram contra mim; eles e seus pais transgrediram contra Mim até este mesmo dia. 4  E os filhos são de semblante duro, e obstinados de coração; Eu te envio a eles, e lhes dirás: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS. 5  E eles, quer ouçam quer deixem de ouvir (porque eles são casa rebelde), hão de saber, contudo, que esteve no meio deles um profeta. 6  E tu, ó filho do homem, não os temas, nem temas as suas palavras; ainda que estejam contigo sarças e espinhos, e tu habites entre escorpiões, não temas as suas palavras, nem te assustes com os seus semblantes, porque são casa rebelde. 7  Mas tu lhes dirás as minhas palavras, quer ouçam quer deixem de ouvir, pois são rebeldes. 8  Mas tu, ó filho do homem, ouve o que Eu te falo, não sejas rebelde como a casa rebelde; abre a tua boca, e come o que Eu te dou.”                                                 Vamos ver uma sequencia de, Não temas na Bíblia!                                                                    Diz assim em GÊNESIS 15. Deus anima Abrão e promete-lhe um filho “1  DEPOIS destas coisas veio a palavra do SENHOR a Abrão em visão, dizendo: Não temas, Abrão, Eu Sou o teu escudo, o teu grandíssimo galardão. 2  Então disse Abrão: Senhor DEUS, que me hás de dar, pois ando sem filhos, e o mordomo da minha casa é o damasceno Eliézer? 3  Disse mais Abrão: Eis que não me tens dado filhos, e eis que um nascido na minha casa será o meu herdeiro. 4  E eis que veio a palavra do SENHOR a ele dizendo: Este não será o teu herdeiro; mas aquele que de tuas entranhas sair, este será o teu herdeiro. 5  Então o levou fora, e disse: Olha agora para os céus, e conta as estrelas, se as podes contar. E disse-lhe: Assim será a tua descendência. 6  E creu ele no SENHOR, e imputou-lhe isto por justiça.”                                                                                                                                    E fez Deus assim em Gênesis 21. “15  E consumida a água do odre, lançou o menino debaixo de uma das árvores. 16  E foi assentar-se em frente, afastando-se à distância de um tiro de arco; porque dizia: Que eu não veja morrer o menino. E assentou-se em frente, e levantou a sua voz, e chorou. 17  E ouviu Deus a voz do menino, e bradou o anjo de Deus a Agar desde os céus, e disse-lhe: Que tens, Agar? Não temas, porque Deus ouviu a voz do menino desde o lugar onde está. 18  Ergue-te, levanta o menino e pega-lhe pela mão, porque dele farei uma grande nação. 19  E abriu-lhe Deus os olhos, e viu um poço de água; e foi encher o odre de água, e deu de beber ao menino. 20  E era Deus com o menino, que cresceu; e habitou no deserto, e foi flecheiro.”                                                                    Em Gênesis 22, Abraão passou por uma prova que pai nenhum gostaria de passar: ele foi colocado a prova por “Deus” que exigiu dele, que sacrificasse seu único filho, o da promessa. Quando Abraão ia cumprir o pedido de “Deus”; assim aconteceu em Gênesis. 22. “1  E ACONTECEU depois destas coisas, que provou Deus a Abraão, e disse-lhe: Abraão! E ele disse: Eis-me aqui. 2  E disse: Toma agora o teu filho, o teu único filho, Isaque, a quem amas, e vai-te à terra de Moriá, e oferece-o ali em holocausto sobre uma das montanhas, que Eu te direi. 6  E tomou Abraão a lenha do holocausto, e pô-la sobre Isaque seu filho; e ele tomou o fogo e o cutelo na sua mão, e foram ambos juntos. 7  Então falou Isaque a Abraão seu pai, e disse: Meu pai! E ele disse: Eis-me aqui, meu filho! E ele disse: Eis aqui o fogo e a lenha, mas onde está o cordeiro para o holocausto? 8  E disse Abraão: Deus proverá para si o cordeiro para o holocausto, meu filho. Assim caminharam ambos juntos. 9  E chegaram ao lugar que Deus lhe dissera, e edificou Abraão ali um altar e pôs em ordem a lenha, e amarrou a Isaque seu filho, e deitou-o sobre o altar em cima da lenha. 10  E estendeu Abraão a sua mão, e tomou o cutelo para imolar o seu filho; 11  Mas o anjo do SENHOR lhe bradou desde os céus, e disse: Abraão, Abraão! E ele disse: Eis-me aqui. 12  Então disse: Não estendas a tua mão sobre o moço, e não lhe faças nada; porquanto agora sei que temes a Deus, e não me negaste o teu filho, o teu único filho. 14  E chamou Abraão o nome daquele lugar: O SENHOR PROVERÁ; donde se diz até ao dia de hoje: No monte do SENHOR se proverá. 15  Então o anjo do SENHOR bradou a Abraão pela segunda vez desde os céus, 16  E disse: Por mim mesmo jurei, diz o SENHOR: Porquanto fizeste esta ação, e não me negaste o teu filho, o teu único filho, 17  Que deveras te abençoarei, e grandissimamente multiplicarei a tua descendência como as estrelas dos céus, e como a areia que está na praia do mar; e a tua descendência possuirá a porta dos seus inimigos; 18  E em tua descendência serão benditas todas as nações da terra; porquanto obedeceste à minha voz.”

  Nobre leitores, um ser humano normal, por mais fiel que fosse a “Deus” nos dias de hoje, não cumpriria esta missão exigida por Deus. Um pai, fiel, obediente e temente a “Deus” não cumpriria esta missão tao difícil. Imagina te pedir a você para que mate seu filho decepando lhe a cabeça! “O não temas” aconteceu sim; mas de forma contraria; pois Abraão tinha que matar seu filho; o da promessa. Aquele que Deus abençoou na sua velhice com Sara.                                                          Veja novamente a palavra Eu Sou contigo em Gênesis 26. “1  E HAVIA fome na terra, além da primeira fome, que foi nos dias de Abraão; por isso foi Isaque a Abimeleque, rei dos filisteus, em Gerar. 2  E apareceu-lhe o SENHOR, e disse: Não desças ao Egito; habita na terra que Eu te disser; 3  Peregrina nesta terra, e serei contigo, e te abençoarei; porque a ti e à tua descendência darei todas estas  terras, e confirmarei o juramento que tenho jurado a Abraão teu pai; 4  E multiplicarei a tua descendência como as estrelas dos céus, e darei à tua descendência todas estas terras; e por meio dela serão benditas todas as nações da terra; 5  Porquanto Abraão obedeceu à minha voz, e guardou o meu mandado, os meus preceitos, os meus estatutos, e as minhas leis. ... 24  E apareceu-lhe o SENHOR naquela mesma noite, e disse: Eu sou o Deus de Abraão teu pai; não temas, porque eu sou contigo, e abençoar-te-ei, e multiplicarei a tua descendência por amor de Abraão meu servo.”                                                                                   E Deus muda o nome de Jacó para Israel e abençoa as gerações de “Jacó, Israel” Gênesis 35. 9  E apareceu Deus outra vez a Jacó, vindo de Padã-Arã, e abençoou-o. 10  E disse-lhe Deus: O teu nome é Jacó; não te chamarás mais Jacó, mas Israel será o teu nome. E chamou-lhe Israel. 11  Disse-lhe mais Deus: Eu Sou o Deus Todo-Poderoso; frutifica e multiplica-te; uma nação, sim, uma multidão de nações sairá de ti, e reis procederão dos teus lombos; 12  E te darei a ti a terra que tenho dado a Abraão e a Isaque, e à tua descendência depois de ti darei a terra....                             Morre Raquel, o amor de Jacó, mas Deus não deixa a criança morrer..... 16  E partiram de Betel; e havia ainda um pequeno espaço de terra para chegar a Efrata, e deu à luz Raquel, e ela teve trabalho em seu parto. 17  E aconteceu que, tendo ela trabalho em seu parto, lhe disse a parteira: Não temas, porque também este filho terás. 18  E aconteceu que, saindo-se-lhe a alma (porque morreu), chamou-lhe Benoni; mas seu pai chamou-lhe Benjamim. 19  Assim morreu Raquel, e foi sepultada no caminho de Efrata; que é Belém. 20  E Jacó pôs uma coluna sobre a sua sepultura; esta é a coluna da sepultura de Raquel até o dia de hoje.”                                                                                                                                Vejam a importância do “Eu sou” novamente: aqui é José se revelando a seus irmãos quem era ele, pois José foi vendido por parte de seus irmãos indo parar no Egito; pois assim foi o proposito do “Grande Eu Sou, Deus”. José foi levado cativo, mas ele, conquistou o maior posto no Egito, sendo inferior apenas a Faraó.                                   Veja o que aconteceu em Gênesis 45. “1  ENTÃO José não se podia conter diante de todos os que estavam com ele; e clamou: Fazei sair daqui a todo o homem; e ninguém ficou com ele, quando José se deu a conhecer a seus irmãos. 2  E levantou a sua voz com choro, de maneira que os egípcios o ouviam, e a casa de Faraó o ouviu. 3  E disse José a seus irmãos: Eu sou José; vive ainda meu pai? E seus irmãos não lhe puderam responder, porque estavam pasmados diante da sua face. 4  E disse José a seus irmãos: Peço-vos, chegai-vos a mim. E chegaram-se; então disse ele: Eu sou José vosso irmão, a quem vendestes para o Egito. 5  Agora, pois, não vos entristeçais, nem vos pese aos vossos olhos por me haverdes vendido para cá; porque para conservação da vida, Deus me enviou adiante de vós. 7  Pelo que Deus me enviou adiante de vós, para conservar vossa sucessão na terra, e para guardar-vos em vida por um grande livramento. 8  Assim não fostes vós que me enviastes para cá, senão Deus, que me tem posto por pai de Faraó, e por senhor de toda a sua casa, e como regente em toda a terra do Egito. 9  Apressai-vos, e subi a meu pai, e dizei-lhe: Assim tem dito o teu filho José: Deus me tem posto por senhor em toda a terra do Egito; desce a mim, e não te demores; 10  E habitarás na terra de Gósen, e estarás perto de mim, tu e os teus filhos, e os filhos dos teus filhos, e as tuas ovelhas, e as tuas vacas, e tudo o que tens. 11  E ali te sustentarei, porque ainda haverá cinco anos de fome, para que não pereças de pobreza, tu e tua casa, e tudo o que tens. 12  E eis que vossos olhos, e os olhos de meu irmão Benjamim, vêem que é minha boca que vos fala. 13  E fazei saber a meu pai toda a minha glória no Egito, e tudo o que tendes visto, e apressai-vos a fazer descer meu pai para cá.”

           Nobres leitores, eu considero a história de José, uma das mais bonits na Bíblia Sagrada pois ela envolveu ódio, inveja, mentira, magoas etc. Mas ela termina com muito amor e perdão por parte de José, que continuou amando seus irmãos e perdoando-os por tudo que eles fizeram contra ele. Experimente ler toda a história de José que vai dos capítulos 37 ao 50 de Gênesis.   10  E habitarás na terra de Gósen, e estarás perto de mim, tu e os teus filhos, e os filhos dos teus filhos, e as tuas ovelhas, e as tuas vacas, e tudo o que tens. 11  E ali te sustentarei, porque ainda haverá cinco anos de fome, para que não pereças de pobreza, tu e tua casa, e tudo o que tens. 12  E eis que vossos olhos, e os olhos de meu irmão Benjamim, vêem que é minha boca que vos fala. 13  E fazei saber a meu pai toda a minha glória no Egito, e tudo o que tendes visto, e apressai-vos a fazer descer meu pai para cá.”  Vejam o desfecho desta linda história em Gênesis. 46.  Jacó e toda a sua família descem ao Egito “1  E PARTIU Israel com tudo quanto tinha, e veio a Berseba, e ofereceu sacrifícios ao Deus de seu pai Isaque. 2  E falou Deus a Israel em visões de noite, e disse: Jacó, Jacó! E ele disse: Eis-me aqui. 3  E disse: Eu Sou Deus, o Deus de teu pai; não temas descer ao Egito, porque eu te farei ali uma grande nação. 4  E descerei contigo ao Egito, e certamente te farei tornar a subir, e José porá a sua mão sobre os teus olhos.”                                                                                                                            E “Jacó, Israel” Pai de José viveu mais 17 anos no Egito, vindo a falecer com 147 anos, e José cumpriu a vontade do pai, não o enterrando no Egito, mas exatamente onde ele desejou.                       E seus irmãos temeram por suas vidas, achando que José se vingaria deles por tudo que lhe fizeram no passado quando muito jovem.                                                                                                                               Veja o que diz em Gênesis 50. “15  Vendo então os irmãos de José que seu pai já estava morto, disseram: Porventura nos odiará José e certamente nos retribuirá todo o mal que lhe fizemos. 16  Portanto mandaram dizer a José: Teu pai ordenou, antes da sua morte, dizendo: 17  Assim direis a José: Perdoa, rogo-te, a transgressão de teus irmãos, e o seu pecado, porque te fizeram mal; agora, pois, rogamos-te que perdoes a transgressão dos servos do Deus de teu pai. E José chorou quando eles lhe falavam. 18  Depois vieram também seus irmãos, e prostraram-se diante dele, e disseram: Eis-nos aqui por teus servos. 19  E José lhes disse: Não temais; porventura estou eu em lugar de Deus? 20  Vós bem intentastes mal contra mim; porém Deus o intentou para bem, para fazer como se vê neste dia, para conservar muita gente com vida. 21  Agora, pois, não temais; eu vos sustentarei a vós e a vossos filhos. Assim os consolou, e falou segundo o coração deles.”                                                                José faleceu aos 110 anos no Egito, seu corpo foi embalsamado segundo tradição egípcia. Mais depois do Êxodo passado muitas gerações seu corpo foi levado para fora do Egito.                                      Josué  e Calebe que foram os únicos dos espias que voltaram com boas novas do local dado por Deus.             Veja o que diz em Deuteronômio 1, “21  Eis aqui o SENHOR teu Deus tem posto esta terra diante de ti; sobe, toma posse dela, como te falou o SENHOR Deus de teus pais; não temas, e não te assustes. 22  Então todos vós chegastes a mim, e dissestes: Mandemos homens adiante de nós, para que nos espiem a terra e, de volta, nos ensinem o caminho pelo qual devemos subir, e as cidades a que devemos ir. 23  Isto me pareceu bem; de modo que de vós tomei doze homens, de cada tribo um homem. 24  E foram-se, e subiram à montanha, e chegaram até ao vale de Escol, e o espiaram. 25  E tomaram do fruto da terra nas suas mãos, e no-lo trouxeram e nos informaram, dizendo: Boa é a terra que nos dá o SENHOR nosso Deus. 29  Então eu vos disse: Não vos espanteis, nem os temais. 30  O SENHOR vosso Deus que vai adiante de vós, ele pelejará por vós, conforme a tudo o que fez convosco, diante de vossos olhos, no Egito; 31  Como também no deserto, onde vistes que o SENHOR vosso Deus nele vos levou, como um homem leva seu filho, por todo o caminho que andastes, até chegardes a este lugar. 32  Mas nem por isso crestes no SENHOR vosso Deus, 33  Que foi adiante de vós por todo o caminho, para vos achar o lugar onde vós deveríeis acampar; de noite no fogo, para vos mostrar o caminho por onde havíeis de andar, e de dia na nuvem. (  Lev 14:20-38  ) 34  Ouvindo, pois, o SENHOR a voz das vossas palavras, indignou-se, e jurou, dizendo: 35  Nenhum dos homens desta maligna geração verá esta boa terra que jurei dar a vossos pais. ....                                                                                                           E assim toda essa geração acima de vinte anos foi amaldiçoada por “Deus” por causa da murmuração, desobediência e destemor a Deus deixaram de entrar na terra prometida; onde manava leite e mel. Infelizmente até Moisés o único homem que chegou a falar com Deus cara a cara, não pode entrar, e Deus encerrou sua vida aos 120 anos; mas antes fez ele subir no alto do monte pisga e mostrar para ele toda a terra prometida. ... 36  Salvo Calebe, filho de Jefoné; ele a verá, e a terra que pisou darei a ele e a seus filhos; porquanto perseverou em seguir ao SENHOR. 37  Também o SENHOR se indignou contra mim por causa de vós, dizendo: Também tu lá não entrarás. 38  Josué, filho de Num, que está diante de ti, ele ali entrará; fortalece-o, porque ele a fará herdar a Israel. 39  E vossos meninos, de quem dissestes: Por presa serão; e vossos filhos, que hoje não conhecem nem o bem nem o mal, eles ali entrarão, e a eles a darei, e eles a possuirão.”                                                                                           Veja como nunca parou de agir: Deuteronômio 3, “1  DEPOIS nos viramos e subimos o caminho de Basã; e Ogue, rei de Basã, nos saiu ao encontro, ele e todo o seu povo, à peleja em Edrei. 2  Então o SENHOR me disse: Não o temas, porque a ele e a todo o seu povo, e a sua terra, tenho dado na tua mão; e far-lhe-ás como fizeste a Siom, rei dos amorreus, que habitava em Hesbom. 3  E também o SENHOR nosso Deus nos deu na nossa mão a Ogue, rei de Basã, e a todo o seu povo; de maneira que o ferimos até que não lhe ficou sobrevivente algum.”                                                                   Assim foi Deus com seu povo. Veja em Deuteronômio 8. “1  TODOS os mandamentos que hoje vos ordeno guardareis para os cumprir; para que vivais, e vos multipliqueis, e entreis, e possuais a terra que o SENHOR jurou a vossos pais. 2  E te lembrarás de todo o caminho, pelo qual o SENHOR teu Deus te guiou no deserto estes quarenta anos, para te humilhar, e te provar, para saber o que estava no teu coração, se guardarias os seus mandamentos, ou não. 3  E te humilhou, e te deixou ter fome, e te sustentou com o maná, que tu não conheceste, nem teus pais o conheceram; para te dar a entender que o homem não viverá só de pão, mas de tudo o que sai da boca do SENHOR viverá o homem. 4  Nunca se envelheceu a tua roupa sobre ti, nem se inchou o teu pé nestes quarenta anos. 5  Sabes, pois, no teu coração que, como um homem castiga a seu filho, assim te castiga o SENHOR teu Deus. 6  E guarda os mandamentos do SENHOR teu Deus, para andares nos seus caminhos e para o temeres. 7  Porque o SENHOR teu Deus te põe numa boa terra, terra de ribeiros de águas, de fontes, e de mananciais, que saem dos vales e das montanhas; 8  Terra de trigo e cevada, e de vides e figueiras, e romeiras; terra de oliveiras, de azeite e mel. 9  Terra em que comerás o pão sem escassez, e nada te faltará nela; terra cujas pedras são ferro, e de cujos montes tu cavarás o cobre. 10  Quando, pois, tiveres comido, e fores farto, louvarás ao SENHOR teu Deus pela boa terra que te deu. 11  Guarda-te que não te esqueças do SENHOR teu Deus, deixando de guardar os seus mandamentos, e os seus juízos, e os seus estatutos que hoje te ordeno; 14  Se eleve o teu coração e te esqueças do SENHOR teu Deus, que te tirou da terra do Egito, da casa da servidão; 15  Que te guiou por aquele grande e terrível deserto de serpentes ardentes, e de escorpiões, e de terra seca, em que não havia água; e tirou água para ti da rocha pederneira; 16  Que no deserto te sustentou com maná, que teus pais não conheceram; para te humilhar, e para te provar, para no fim te fazer bem; 17  E digas no teu coração: A minha força, e a fortaleza da minha mão, me adquiriu este poder. 18  Antes te lembrarás do SENHOR teu Deus, que ele é o que te dá força para adquirires riqueza; para confirmar a sua aliança, que jurou a teus pais, como se vê neste dia. 19  Será, porém, que, se de qualquer modo te esqueceres do SENHOR teu Deus, e se ouvires outros deuses, e os servires, e te inclinares perante eles, hoje Eu testifico contra vós que certamente perecereis. 20  Como as nações que o SENHOR destruiu diante de vós, assim vós perecereis, porquanto não queríeis obedecer à voz do SENHOR vosso Deus.”                                   VEJA O QUE DISSE DEUS EM Deuteronômio 31, “6  Esforçai-vos, e animai-vos; não temais, nem vos espanteis diante deles; porque o SENHOR teu Deus é o que vai contigo; não te deixará nem te desamparará. 7  E chamou Moisés a Josué, e lhe disse aos olhos de todo o Israel: Esforça-te e anima-te; porque com este povo entrarás na terra que o SENHOR jurou a teus pais lhes dar; e tu os farás herdá-la. 8  O SENHOR, pois, é aquele que vai adiante de ti; Ele será contigo, não te deixará, nem te desamparará; não temas, nem te espantes.”                                                                                                Nobres leitores, Deus conhece a cada um de nós profundamente; antes de Moisés morrer “Deus” falou assim para ele em Deut. 31. “14  E disse o SENHOR a Moisés: Eis que os teus dias são chegados, para que morras; chama a Josué, e apresentai-vos na tenda da congregação, para que eu lhe dê ordens. Assim foram Moisés e Josué, e se apresentaram na tenda da congregação. 15  Então o SENHOR apareceu na tenda, na coluna de nuvem; e a coluna de nuvem estava sobre a porta da tenda. 16  E disse o SENHOR a Moisés: Eis que dormirás com teus pais; e este povo se levantará, e prostituir-se-á indo após os deuses estranhos na terra, para cujo meio vai, e me deixará, e anulará a minha aliança que tenho feito com ele. 17  Assim se acenderá a minha ira naquele dia contra ele, e desampará-lo-ei, e esconderei o meu rosto dele, para que seja devorado; e tantos males e angústias o alcançarão, que dirá naquele dia: Não me alcançaram estes males, porque o meu Deus não está no meio de mim? 18  Esconderei, pois, totalmente o meu rosto naquele dia, por todo o mal que tiver feito, por se haverem tornado a outros deuses.”                                                                                                                    E assim Deus encerrou a vida de Moisés aos 120 anos vejam em Deut. 34.  Moisés sobe ao monte Nebo, vê a terra prometida e morre  “1  ENTÃO subiu Moisés das campinas de Moabe ao monte Nebo, ao cume de Pisga, que está em frente a Jericó e o SENHOR mostrou-lhe toda a terra desde Gileade até Dã; 2  E todo Naftali, e a terra de Efraim, e Manassés e toda a terra de Judá, até ao mar ocidental; 3  E o sul, e a campina do vale de Jericó, a cidade das palmeiras, até Zoar. 4  E disse-lhe o SENHOR: Esta é a terra que jurei a Abraão, Isaque, e Jacó, dizendo: À tua descendência a darei; eu te faço vê-la com os teus olhos, porém lá não passarás. 5  Assim morreu ali Moisés, servo do SENHOR, na terra de Moabe, conforme a palavra do SENHOR. 6  E o sepultou num vale, na terra de Moabe, em frente de Bete-Peor; e ninguém soube até hoje o lugar da sua sepultura. 7  Era Moisés da idade de cento e vinte anos quando morreu; os seus olhos nunca se escureceram, nem perdeu o seu vigor.”  Era chegada a hora da promessa ser cumprida: de o povo de Israel herdar e entrar na terra prometida por “Deus”. Haveria vários obstáculos! Sim: mas o Grande Eu Sou continuava a frente de tudo, e jamais deixaria seu povo na mão.              Veja em Josué. 1. “1  E SUCEDEU depois da morte de Moisés, servo do SENHOR, que o SENHOR falou a Josué, filho de Num, servo de Moisés, dizendo: 2  Moisés, meu servo, é morto; levanta-te, pois, agora, passa este Jordão, tu e todo este povo, à terra que Eu dou aos filhos de Israel. 3  Todo o lugar que pisar a planta do vosso pé, vo-lo tenho dado, como Eu disse a Moisés. 4  Desde o deserto e do Líbano, até ao grande rio, o rio Eufrates, toda a terra dos heteus, e até o grande mar para o poente do sol, será o vosso termo. 5  Ninguém te poderá resistir, todos os dias da tua vida; como fui com Moisés, assim serei contigo; não te deixarei nem te desampararei. 6  Esforça-te, e tem bom ânimo; porque tu farás a este povo herdar a terra que jurei a seus pais lhes daria. 7  Tão-somente esforça-te e tem mui bom ânimo, para teres o cuidado de fazer conforme a toda a lei que meu servo Moisés te ordenou; dela não te desvies, nem para a direita nem para a esquerda, para que prudentemente te conduzas por onde quer que andares. 8  Não se aparte da tua boca o livro desta lei; antes medita nele dia e noite, para que tenhas cuidado de fazer conforme a tudo quanto nele está escrito; porque então farás prosperar o teu caminho, e serás bem sucedido. 9  Não to mandei Eu? Esforça-te, e tem bom ânimo; não temas, nem te espantes; porque o SENHOR teu Deus é contigo, por onde quer que andares.”                                                 Por causa do um pecado provocado por alguém do povo de Deus, o povo de Israel estava perdendo uma batalha que muito fácil de ser vencida; e Josué conseguiu descobrir quem estava cometendo este pecado e puniu de morte, ele e toda sua família; e todo aqueles que eram os inimigos do povo de Deus forma sendo eliminados. E Deus falou assim a Josué .8. “1  ENTÃO disse o SENHOR a Josué: Não temas, e não te espantes; toma contigo toda a gente de guerra, e levanta-te, sobe a Ai; olha que te tenho dado na tua mão o rei de Ai e o seu povo, e a sua cidade, e a sua terra.”                                                                          Assim aconteceu com os outros inimigos de Israel: vejam em Josué 11. “6  E disse o SENHOR a Josué: Não temas diante deles; porque amanhã, a esta mesma hora, eu os darei todos feridos diante dos filhos de Israel; os seus cavalos jarretarás, e os seus carros queimarás a fogo. 7  E Josué, e todos os homens de guerra com ele, veio apressadamente sobre eles às águas de Merom, e atacou-os de repente. 8  E o SENHOR os deu nas mãos de Israel; e eles os feriram, e os perseguiram até à grande Sidom, e até Misrefote-Maim, e até ao vale de Mizpá ao oriente; feriram até não lhes deixarem nenhum.”                               Mas o povo de Israel não temeu a Deus. Eles desobedeceram, e cometeram todos os tipos de pecados depois da morte de Josué e os anciãos de Israel. Isto fez com que voltassem a serem escravos de outros povos que eram inimigos de Israel.                                                 E “Deus” constituiu Juízes para que julgassem o seu povo. E assim aconteceu:                   E assim foi o povo de Israel depois da morte de Josué.                                                      Veja o que aconteceu com eles em Juizes 2. “8  Faleceu, porém, Josué, filho de Num, servo do SENHOR, com a idade de cento e dez anos; 9  E sepultaram-no no termo da sua herança, em Timnate-Heres, no monte de Efraim, para o norte do monte de Gaás. 10  E foi também congregada toda aquela geração a seus pais, e outra geração após ela se levantou, que não conhecia ao SENHOR, nem tampouco a obra que ele fizera a Israel. 11  Então fizeram os filhos de Israel o que era mau aos olhos do SENHOR; e serviram aos baalins. 12  E deixaram ao SENHOR Deus de seus pais, que os tirara da terra do Egito, e foram-se após outros deuses, dentre os deuses dos povos, que havia ao redor deles, e adoraram a eles; e provocaram o SENHOR à ira. 13  Porquanto deixaram ao SENHOR, e serviram a Baal e a Astarote. 14  Por isso a ira do SENHOR se acendeu contra Israel, e os entregou na mão dos espoliadores que os despojaram; e os entregou na mão dos seus inimigos ao redor; e não puderam mais resistir diante dos seus inimigos. 15  Por onde quer que saíam, a mão do SENHOR era contra eles para mal, como o SENHOR tinha falado, e como o SENHOR lhes tinha jurado; e estavam em grande aflição. 16  E levantou o SENHOR juízes, que os livraram da mão dos que os despojaram. 17  Porém tampouco ouviram aos juízes, antes prostituíram-se após outros deuses, e adoraram a eles; depressa se desviaram do caminho, por onde andaram seus pais, obedecendo os mandamentos do SENHOR; mas eles assim não fizeram.”                                                                                                                                              Nobres leitores termina aqui a parte II deste tema, pois ainda tenho mais informações que só serão reveladas nas próximas etapas; pois a palavra de “Deus” tem muita ainda a ser mostrado.                                                                                              Muito obrigado a todos vocês, espero continuar contando com o apoio de todos.                     Este tema está sendo pesquisado e organizado dentro da palavra de Deus.                     Nada aqui é por acaso.                                                                                                    Campo Grande MS     25 de setembro de 2020 Escritor: José Carlos Ribeiro

      Still with Joshua “God” said in Joshua 1. “5 No one will be able to resist you, all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so will I be with you; I will not leave you nor forsake you. 6 Strive, and be of good cheer; because you will make this people inherit the land that I swore to their fathers would give them. 7 Just make an effort and be of good cheer, so that you are careful to do according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded you; do not deviate from it, neither to the right nor to the left, so that you can prudently lead yourself wherever you walk. 8 Let not the book of this law depart from your mouth; rather meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written on it; because then you will make your path prosper, and you will be successful. 9 Didn't I send you? Strive, and be of good cheer; fear not, nor be dismayed; for the LORD your God is with you, wherever you go. ”                                                                                                                                          See what Isaiah 40 says in summary:“ 9 You, O Zion, who announce good news, go up to a high mountain. You, O Jerusalem, who proclaim good news, raise your voice strongly; lift it up, fear not, and say to the cities of Judah: Here is your God. 10 Behold, the Lord GOD will come with power and his arm will rule over him; behold, his reward is with him, and his wages before his face. 11 As a shepherd he will feed his flock; he will gather the lambs in his arms and carry them in his lap; those who breastfeed will guide gently. 12 Who measured the waters in the shell of his hand, and took the measure from the heavens to the palms, and collected the dust of the earth in a measure and weighed the mountains by weight and the hills on scales? 26 Lift up your eyes on high, and see who created these things; it was he who brought out their army according to their number; He calls them all by name; because of the greatness of his forces, and because he is strong in power, none of them will be lacking. 27 Why do you say, O Jacob, and you speak, O Israel: My way is hidden from the Lord, and my judgment goes unnoticed by my God? 28 Do you not know, have you not heard that the eternal God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, is neither tired nor weary? "                                                                                                                            See what it says in Ezekiel. 2. “2 Then the Spirit entered me, when He spoke to me, and set me on my feet, and I heard what He spoke to me. 3 And he said to me, Son of man, I am sending you to the children of Israel, to the rebellious nations that have rebelled against me; they and their parents have transgressed against Me until this very day. 4 And the children are hard-faced and stubborn in heart; I send you to them, and you will say to them, Thus saith the Lord GOD. 5 And they, whether they hear or stop listening (because they are a rebellious house), must know, however, that a prophet was among them. 6 And you, son of man, do not fear them, neither fear their words; although brambles and thorns are with you, and you dwell among scorpions, do not fear their words, nor be frightened by their faces, for they are a rebellious house. 7 But you will say my words to them, whether they hear or stop listening, for they are rebellious. 8 But you, son of man, hear what I say to you, do not be rebellious like the rebellious house; open your mouth, and eat what I give you. ” Let's see a sequence of, Do not fear in the Bible! Don't be afraid, because God heard the boy's voice from where he is. 18 Arise, lift the boy up and take his hand, for I will make him a great nation. 19 And God opened his eyes to him, and saw a well of water; and he went to fill the skin with water, and gave the boy a drink. 20 And it was God with the boy, who grew up; and dwelt in the desert, and was an arrow. ” In Genesis 22, Abraham went through a test that no father would want to pass: he was put to the test by "God" who demanded of him, that he sacrifice his only son, that of the promise. When Abraham was going to fulfill the request of "God"; so it happened in Genesis. 22. “1 AND         

IT HAPPENED AFTER THESE THINGS, WHICH TESTED GOD TO ABRAHAM, AND SAID UNTO HIM, ABRAHAM!      Abraham had said there, and built an altar there and set the wood in order, and tied Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar on top of the wood. 10 And Abraham stretched out his hand, and took the cleaver to slay his son; 11 But the angel of the LORD cried out to him from heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham! And he said: Here I am. 12 Then he said, Do not extend your hand over the boy, and do nothing to him; because now I know that you fear God, and you have not withheld your son from me, your only son. 14 And Abraham called the name of that place: THE LORD WILL PROVIDE; whence it is said to this day: In the mountain of the LORD it will be provided. 15 Then the angel of the Lord cried to Abraham a second time from heaven, 16 And said, By myself I swore, saith the Lord, Because you have done this deed, and have not withheld your son, your only son, 17 I will bless you, and greatly multiply your offspring like the stars of the heavens, and like the sand that is on the shore of the sea; and your offspring will possess the door of their enemies; 18 And in your seed all the nations of the earth will be blessed; because you have obeyed my voice. ”                                                                                        Noble readers, a normal human being, however faithful he was to "God" today, would not fulfill this mission required by God. A father, faithful, obedient and fearing "God" would not fulfill this mission so difficult. Imagine asking you to kill your child by cutting off his head! “Do not fear” happened yes; but in a contrary way; for Abraham had to kill his son; the promise. Look again at the word I am with you in Genesis 26. “1 AND THERE WAS famine in the land, besides the first famine, which was in the days of Abraham; so Isaac went to Abimelech, king of the Philistines, in Gerar. 2 And the LORD appeared to him, and said, Do not go down to Egypt; dwell in the land that I tell you; 3 Pilgrim in this land, and I will be with you, and I will bless you; for I will give all these lands to you and to your descendants, and I will confirm the oath that I have sworn to Abraham your father; 4 And I will multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens, and I will give all your land to your seed; and through it all the nations of the earth will be blessed; 5 Because Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my command, my precepts, my statutes, and my laws. ... 24 And the LORD appeared to him that very night, and said, I am the God of Abraham your father; fear not, for I am with you, and I will bless you, and multiply your seed for the sake of Abraham my servant. ” And God changes Jacob's name to Israel and blesses the generations of “Jacob, Israel” Genesis 35. 9 And God appeared again to Jacob from Padan-aram and blessed him. 10 And God said to him, Your name is Jacob; you will no longer be called Jacob, but Israel will be your name. And he called it Israel. 11 And God said to him, I am Almighty God; bear fruit and multiply; a nation, even a multitude of nations will come out of you, and kings will come from your loins; 12 And I will give you the land that I have given to Abraham and Isaac, and to your offspring after you I will give the land .... Rachel, Jacob's love, dies, but God does not let the child die .... 16 And they left Bethel; and there was still a small space of land to reach Ephrath, and gave birth to Rachel, and she had labor in childbirth. 17 And it came to pass, when she had labored in childbirth, that the midwife said to her, Do not be afraid, for you too will have this child. 18 And it came to pass that when his soul went out (because he died), he called him Benoni; but his father called him Benjamin. 19 So Rachel died, and was buried on the road to Ephrath; which is Bethlehem. 20 And Jacob put a pillar on his grave; this is the column of Raquel's grave to this day. ”                                                                                                                                 Look at the importance of "I am" again: here is Joseph revealing himself to his brothers who he was, because Joseph was sold by his brothers and ended up in Egypt; for that was the purpose of the “Great I Am, God”. Joseph was taken captive, but he won the highest rank in Egypt, being inferior only to Pharaoh. Look at what happened in Genesis 45. “1 THEN Joseph could not contain himself before all who were with him; and he cried out, "Bring all man out of here; and no one stayed with him when Joseph made himself known to his brothers. 2 And he raised his voice with tears, so that the Egyptians heard him, and the house of Pharaoh heard him. 3 And Joseph said to his brothers, I am Joseph; does my father still live? And his brothers could not answer him, because they were amazed before his face. 4 And Joseph said to his brothers, I pray you, come near me. And they came; Then he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom you have sold to Egypt. 5 Now therefore, do not grieve or weigh yourself in your eyes because you have sold me here; because for the preservation of life, God sent me before you. 7 Therefore God sent me before you, to preserve your succession on earth, and to keep you alive for a great deliverance. 8 So it was not you who sent me here, but God, who has made me father of Pharaoh, and lord of all his household, and as ruler in all the land of Egypt. 9 Hurry up and go up to my father and say to him, Thus has your son Joseph said, God has made me lord in all the land of Egypt; come down to me, and do not delay; 10 And you will dwell in the land of Goshen, and you will be close to me, you and your children, and your children's children, and your sheep, and your cows, and all that you have. 11 And there I will support you, because there will still be five years of hunger, so that you and your house and everything you have will not perish from poverty. 12 And, behold, your eyes, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin, see that it is my mouth that speaks to you. 13 And let my father know all my glory in Egypt, and all that you have seen, and make haste to bring my father down here. ”                          Noble readers, I consider the story of Joseph, one of the most beautiful in the Holy Bible because it involved hatred, envy, lies, hurts etc. But it ends with a lot of love and forgiveness on the part of Joseph, who continued to love his brothers and forgive them for everything they did against him. Try reading the entire story of Joseph from chapters 37 to 50 of Genesis. 10 And you will dwell in the land of Goshen, and you will be close to me, you and your children, and your children's children, and your sheep, and your cows, and all that you have. 11 And there I will support you, because there will still be five years of hunger, so that you and your house and everything you have will not perish from poverty. 12 And, behold, your eyes, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin, see that it is my mouth that speaks to you. 13 And let my father know all my glory in Egypt, and all that you have seen, and make haste to bring my father down here. ”                                                                                                                          See the outcome of this beautiful story in Genesis. 46. ​​Jacob and all his family go down to Egypt “1 And Israel departed with all that he had, and came to Beersheba, and offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac. 2 And God spoke to Israel in visions at night, and said, Jacob, Jacob! And he said: Here I am. 3 And he said, I am God, the God of your father; do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you a great nation there. 4 And I will go down to Egypt with you, and I will certainly bring you up again, and Joseph will put his hand over your eyes. ” And “Jacob, Israel” Joseph's father lived another 17 years in Egypt, passing away at the age of 147, and Joseph fulfilled his father's will, not burying him in Egypt, but exactly where he wished. And his brothers feared for their lives, thinking that Joseph would take revenge on them for everything they did to him in the past when he was very young. See what it says in Genesis 50. “15 And when Joseph's brothers saw that their father was already dead, they said, Perhaps Joseph will hate us and will certainly repay us for all the evil we have done to him. 16 So they sent to Joseph, saying, 'Your father commanded, before his death, saying, 17' So you will say to Joseph, 'I forgive you, I beseech you, your brothers' transgression and your sin, because they have done you harm; now, therefore, we beg you to forgive the transgression of the servants of your father's God. And Joseph wept when they spoke to him. 18 Then his brothers also came and fell down before him, and said, Here we are, through your servants. 19 And Joseph said to them, Do not be afraid; am I in the place of God? 20 You have wronged me well; but God designed it for good, to do as seen on this day, to keep many people alive. 21 Now therefore, do not be afraid; I will support you and your children. So he comforted them, and spoke according to their hearts. ” Joseph died at 110 in Egypt, his body was embalmed according to Egyptian tradition. More after the Exodus many generations later his body was taken out of Egypt. God continued with the promise to place his people in the promised land and this mission fell to Joshua and Caleb who were the only ones of the spies who returned with good news from the God-given place.                                                                                                                       See what it says in Deuteronomy 1, “21 Behold, the LORD your God has set this land before you; go up, take possession of it, as the LORD God of your fathers spoke to you; fear not, and do not be frightened. 22 Then all of you came to me and said, Let us send men before us, that they may spy out the land for us and, in return, teach us the way by which we must go up, and the cities to which we must go. 23 This seemed fine to me; so that I took twelve men from you, one man from each tribe. 24 And they went away,  and went up into the mountain, and came to the valley of Escol, and spied on him. 25 And they took the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it to us and informed us, saying, Good is the land which the Lord our God gives us. 29 Then I said to you, Do not be dismayed, nor fear them. 30 The LORD your God who goes before you, he will fight for you, according to all that he has done with you, before your eyes, in Egypt; 31 As also in the desert, where you saw that the Lord your God took you in it, as a man takes his son, all the way you walked, until you came to this place. 32 But you did not therefore believe in the Lord your God, 33 who went ahead of you all the way, to find you the place where you were to camp; at night by fire, to show you the way you would walk, and by day in the cloud. (Lev 14: 20-38) 34 And when the LORD heard the voice of your words, he was indignant, and swore, saying, 35 None of the men of this evil generation will see this good land which I have sworn to give to your fathers. ....                                                                                   And so this whole generation over twenty years was cursed by "God" because of the murmuring, disobedience and fearlessness to God they stopped entering the promised land; where milk and honey flowed. Unfortunately, even Moses, the only man who came to speak with God face to face, cannot enter, and God ended his life at 120; but first he made him go up on the top of the hill and shows him all the promised land. ... 36 Except for Caleb, son of Jefoné; he will see it, and the land he has trodden will give him and his children; because he persevered in following the LORD. 37 The LORD also was angry with me because of you, saying, You also will not go in there. 38 Joshua the son of Nun, who is before you, he will come in there; strengthen him, because he will make her inherit Israel. 39 And your children, of whom you said, They will be prey; and your children, who today know neither good nor evil, they will enter there, and I will give it to them, and they will possess it. ” See how he never stopped acting: Deuteronomy 3, “1 AFTER we turned and went up the road to Bashan; and Og, king of Bashan, met us, he and all his people, at war in Edrei. 2 Then the LORD said to me, Do not fear him, for I have given him into your hand, and to all his people and his land; and you will do to him as you did to Sihon, king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon. 3 And the LORD our God also gave Og, king of Bashan, and all his people in our hand; so that we hurt him until no survivor remained. ” So it was with God and his people. See Deuteronomy 8. “1 ALL the commandments that I command you today, you will keep to keep them; that you may live, and multiply, and go in, and possess the land that the LORD has sworn to your fathers. 2 And you will remember all the way that the Lord your God has guided you in the desert these forty years, to humble you, and to prove you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments or not. 3 And he humbled you, and let you be hungry, and supported you with manna, which you did not know, nor did your parents know him; to make you understand that man will not live on bread alone, but on everything that comes out of the mouth of the Lord, man will live. 4 Your clothing has never aged on you, nor has your foot swollen in these forty years. 5 So you know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the Lord your God chastens you. 6 And keep the commandments of the LORD your God, to walk in his ways and to fear him. 7 For the LORD your God has placed you in a good land, a land of streams of water, of fountains, and of springs, which come out of valleys and mountains; 8 Land of wheat and barley, and vines and fig trees, and pomegranates; land of olive trees, oil and honey. 9 Land where you will eat bread without scarcity, and you will lack nothing; land whose stones are iron, and from whose hills you shall dig copper. 10 When you have eaten and are full, you will praise the Lord your God for the good land he has given you. 11 Take care that you do not forget the LORD your God, failing to keep his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command you today; 14 Lift up your heart and forget the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; 15 Who guided you through that great and terrible desert of fiery serpents, and scorpions, and dry land, where there was no water; and drew water for you from the flint rock; 16 Who supported you with manna in the desert, which your parents did not know; to humiliate you, and to prove you, to do you good in the end; 17 And say in your heart, My strength, and the strength of my hand, has acquired this power from me. 18 Before, you will remember the Lord your God, that he is the one who gives you strength to acquire wealth; to confirm your covenant, which you swore to your parents, as seen on this day. 19 It will be, however, that if you forget the Lord your God at all, and if you hear other gods, and serve them, and bow down to them, today I testify against you that you will surely perish. 20 As the nations which the LORD destroyed before you, so will you perish, because you did not want to obey the voice of the LORD your God. ”                                                                                            SEE WHAT GOD SAID IN DEUTERONOMY 31, “6 Strive, and be encouraged; fear not, nor be dismayed at them; for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you; he will not leave you nor forsake you. 7 And Moses called Joshua, and said to him in the eyes of all Israel, Strive and be cheerful; for with this people you will enter the land which the LORD has sworn to your fathers to give them; and you will make them inherit it. 8 The Lord therefore is he who goes before you; He will be with you, he will not leave you nor forsake you; fear not, nor be dismayed. ” Noble readers, God knows each of us deeply; before Moses died "God" spoke to him like that in Deut. 31. “14 And the LORD said to Moses, Behold, your days are come, that you may die; call Joshua, and report to the tent of meeting, that I may give you orders. So Moses and Joshua went and presented themselves in the tent of meeting. 15 Then the LORD appeared in the tent, in the pillar of cloud; and the pillar of cloud was over the tent door. 16 And the LORD said to Moses, Behold, you will sleep with your fathers; and this people will rise up and prostitute themselves, going after the strange gods in the land, into whose midst they go, and they will leave me, and they will annul my covenant that I have made with them. 17 So my anger will be ignited that day against him, and I will forsake him, and I will hide my face from him, that he may be devoured; and so many evils and anguishings will overtake him, who will say on that day: Did not these evils reach me, because my God is not in my midst? 18 I will therefore completely hide my face that day, for all the evil that I have done, because they have turned to other gods. ” And so God ended Moses' life at the age of 120, see in Deut. 34. Moses goes up Mount Nebo, sees the promised land and dies “1 THEN Moses went up from the fields of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, which is in front of Jericho, and the Lord showed him the whole land from Gilead to Gives; 2 And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, to the western sea; 3 And the south, and the meadow in the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, as far as Zoar. 4 And the Lord said to him, This is the land which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, I will give it to your descendants; I make you see it with your eyes, but you will not pass there. 5 So Moses, the servant of the LORD, died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD. 6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, in front of Beth-Peor; and no one has yet known the place of his grave. 7 Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died; his eyes never darkened, nor did he lose his vigor. ” It was time for the promise to be fulfilled: for the people of Israel to inherit and enter the land promised by "God". There would be several obstacles! Yes: but the Great I Am was still ahead of everything, and would never let his people down. See Joshua. 1. “1 AND IT WAS SUCCESSFUL after the death of Moses, the servant of the LORD, that the LORD spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, servant of Moses, saying, 2 Moses my servant is slain; Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I give to the children of Israel. 3 Every place that the sole of your foot treads, I have given you, as I told Moses. 4 From the desert and Lebanon, to the great river, the Euphrates, the whole land of the Hittites, and even the great sea to the setting sun, will be your term. 5 No one will be able to resist you, every day of your life; as I did with Moses, so will I with you; I will not leave you nor forsake you. 6 Strive, and be of good cheer; because you will make this people inherit the land that I swore to their fathers would give them. 7 Just make an effort and be of good cheer, so that you are careful to do according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded you; do not deviate from it, neither to the right nor to the left, so that you can prudently lead yourself wherever you walk. 8 Let not the book of this law depart from your mouth; rather meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written on it; because then you will make your path prosper, and you will be successful. 9 Didn't I send you? Strive, and be of good cheer; fear not, nor be dismayed; for the LORD your God is with you, wherever you go. ” Because of a sin caused by someone from the people of God, the people of Israel were losing a battle that was very easy to be won; and Joshua managed to find out who was committing this sin and punished him and his whole family with death; and all those who wanted the enemies of God's people were being eliminated. And God spoke thus to Joshua .8. “1 THEN THE LORD SAID TO Joshua, Fear not, and be not dismayed; take all the people of war with you, and get up, go up to Ai; see that I have given you in your hand the king of Ai and his people, and his city, and his land. ” So it was with the other enemies of Israel: see Joshua 11. “6 And the LORD said to Joshua, Do not be afraid before them; because tomorrow, at this very hour, I will give them all hurt before the children of Israel; shackle your horses, and burn your chariots with fire. 7 And Joshua, and all the men of war with him, came hurriedly over them to the waters of Merom, and attacked them suddenly. 8 And the LORD gave them into the hands of Israel; and they smote them, and pursued them as far as great Sidon, and as far as Misrefote-Maim, and as far as the valley of Mizpah to the east; they hurt until they left none. ” But the people of Israel did not fear God. They disobeyed, and committed all kinds of sins after the death of Joshua and the elders of Israel. This made them again slaves to other peoples who were enemies of Israel. And "God" appointed Judges to judge his people. And so it happened: And so it was the people of Israel after Joshua's death. Look at what happened to them in Judges 2. “8 But Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the Lord, died at the age of one hundred and ten years; 9 And they buried him at the end of his inheritance, at Timnath-heres, on Mount Ephraim, north of Mount Gaas. 10 And all that generation was also gathered to their fathers, and another generation after it arose, which did not know the LORD, nor the work which he had done for Israel. 11 Then the children of Israel did what was evil in the eyes of the LORD; and served the Baals. 12 And they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, who had brought them out of the land of Egypt, and went after other gods, among the gods of the peoples, who were around them, and worshiped them; and provoked the LORD to anger. 13 For they left the LORD, and served Baal and Ashtaroth. 14 Therefore the wrath of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he handed them over to the plunderers who plundered them; and gave them into the hand of their enemies all around; and they could no longer resist before their enemies. 15 Wherever they went, the hand of the LORD was against them for evil, as the LORD had spoken, and as the LORD had sworn to them; and they were in great distress. 16 And the LORD raised up judges, who delivered them out of the hand of those who plundered them. 17 But neither did they listen to the judges, but afterwards prostituted themselves after other gods, and worshiped them; they quickly strayed from the path where their fathers walked, obeying the commandments of the LORD; but they didn't do it that way.
